Name: Hina
Age: 18
Physical Description:Hina can often be found wearing more tight fitting clothing to accentuate her body which also doubles as a plus for fighting. She keeps her black hair waist length so that it doesn’t get in the way of combat. She doesn’t do anything particularly special with her hair, although adding a bow or ribbon isn’t uncommon. Hina can often be found wearing a headband backwards, serving as a cover for her mouth. She does this especially while on missions as she thinks it helps to hide her face. On more formal occasions she wears a low cut dress which never goes very far down her thighs. She is a big fan of laces which is something very apparent to anyone who has ever seen her in her undergarments. On less formal occasions, Hina is hardly even considered dressed. Her clothing always covers the bare minimum and she’s been kicked out of many an establishment for improper dress wear.
Hina takes a lot of pride in her appearance. While her clothing and style stays relatively similar, she is fickle with changing her looks using medical ninjutsu. She forgoes using illusions to improve her appearance and instead physically alters her body to do so.
Mental Description:When it comes to creation and destruction, Hina sides with destruction. She’s a pyromaniac who would be perfectly okay with setting a large building on fire just to see it burn. As far as pyromaniacs go, she’s relatively mild and her tendencies are set off by boredom. Fights are rarely personal with her and she would rather just get them over with. She finds herself best suited in missions where she has a target to obliterate. Hina also gets tired and annoyed when things carry on for too long. She is easily exhausted and likes to solve problems with brute force.
When it comes to losing, Hina rarely takes it very well. She often finds herself swearing revenge and lashing out publicly. She has a short fuse for most things in life which make it difficult for her to focus during battles. Hina’s anger works in powerful bursts although she is able to calm herself relatively quickly. The Curse of Hatred is strong within this young kunoichi and it doesn’t make it any easier to take orders or do any cooperative missions. Others typically don’t like working with her any more than she likes working with them. Years of this has made it difficult for Hina to truly understand people and for her to wear a mask to cover her true self. The loneliness she feels often drives her to do odd and unusual things just to try to get attention.
Hina’s lack of compassion has made it so that she cares very little about laws or rules in general. While she is able to contain herself for the sake of her own safety, she typically has chaotic urges. Any chance she gets to leave the village and travel to neutral lands are a free pass to wreak havoc so long as she can get away with it. Her alignment is neutral for the most part, and the balance between good and evil typically hinges on whether she is getting enjoyment out of the scenario. Only boredom is capable of making her truly apathetic about a situation.
Despite everything that has been noted, Hina enjoys peace over constant conflict. This is mostly due to her explosive nature where the most satisfying part comes in the afterglow. Those that know her know that she is a fan of manufactured outrage just so that she can feel better after everything is said and done.
History:Hina’s ancestry has deep roots in Konoha. At some point after the great shinobi wars died down, her Uchiha ancestors broke off from the main family and spread out to various villages. Sunagakure was where Hina was eventually born and she lived in a large family. Instead of being in a loving environment, Hina’s parents drilled into their kids that the only purpose in life was to become powerful. Because of this, Hina was often forced to spar with her siblings and some were much older than she was. Unfortunately, Hina never showed a lick of prowess when it came to taijutsu. She became very good at perceiving movements, but when it came to reacting and executing a counterattack she always fell short. Where Hina excelled was in ninjutsu. She was easily the best in her family when it came to manipulating katon jutsu and it was where she ended up spending most of her time. Hina got into lots of trouble with local authorities for practicing katon jutsu and setting things ablaze when she shouldn’t. It took a lot of discipline to teach her that there was a place and a time to use fire jutsu.
In Hina’s early teens she went into the academy and nearly burned the whole place down with her antics. She never cared much about strategy or much of the ethics behind being a shinobi. She wanted only to be told what to destroy and execute to those orders. Mock missions often resulted in failure and discipline. Hina was only allowed to graduate after demonstrating that she was willing to hold back and show at least a little sympathy when it came to sparing her teammates from injury. When it came time to be assigned to a team, nobody wanted to be with her. She didn’t care all that much, but she was forced into a team of pacifists in an attempt to adjust her behavior. This didn’t work all that well and mostly ended up in her avoiding missions altogether. It was a shame because in order to rank up she absolutely needed to demonstrate that she could work with other shinobi.
As the years passed as a Genin, Hina would become better and better at ninjutsu. She was better than her peers when it came to this part of being a shinobi but often fell short when it came to illusions. She never appreciated being sent on the errands that Genin were typically sent on. They were much too easy, in her opinion, even though they almost always caused difficulties. The human interface component of most missions was the bane of her mission success rate. The simplicity of them also bored her to no end and it got to the point where she simply didn’t want to get involved in them any more than she had to. This was the point where she started getting drawn into crimes. Petty crimes were where she spent most of her time until she got caught and powerful shinobi set her priorities straight. They told her that she could still be a criminal, but instead to focus her efforts in other countries and villages. So, Hina did. She began venturing out in groups of higher level shinobi where she was allowed to commit crimes and create distractions so that the big boys could carry out their missions with a distracted defense force. These were the types of missions that helped Hina get combat experience and start becoming a formidable Genin.
As Hina got to her early teens, she tried relentlessly to activate her Sharingan. On several occasions Hina had been tempted to just start murdering her family members in order to finally get some kind of extreme emotional response out of herself. There was a time when she had been told she could easily activate her mangekyou sharingan by just setting her whole house on fire, but she never ended up having the guts to go through with the plan. The thought of doing something so irreversible on one of her own was simply unthinkable. Despite how much she liked causing mayhem, she genuinely cared about keeping her home and village in good shape. Even to the present day she is hesitant purely because she doesn’t think it would work. If she assassinated her whole family and still didn’t activate her sharingan then what would she have to do next? Hina ended up spending a lot of time with elder Uchiha in order to get advice from then on out, in order to figure out a plan to finally activate her doujutsu. It seemed unavoidable that she was going to have to break a bond to get the initial activation out of the way. The only thing she had to do was pick which of her friends or siblings had to mysteriously die…
