Name: Uchiha Izura
Age: 21
Rank: Anbu
Alias: Shade
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 175 lbs
Hair Color: Raven Black
Personality
As a member of the anbu, Shade is an excellent example of the quiet professional. He appears to act without emotion or mercy, doing anything necessary to ensure the survival of the Leaf. His mask, a prison for the emotion ridden face hidden underneath. He may act with the Leaf's well being in the core of his heart, but it doesn't change the fact that he is only human, and an Uchiha at that. Emotions are a powerful thing, especially for an Uchiha, and that is why he must keep them suppressed. On the flip side, during the brief interludes between missions, it's almost as if he's a different person. Calm, casual, yet jovial, Izura uses the time to blow off some steam and relax. But almost no one (if anyone) knows which side of him is the genuine one....
History
Born to two Anbu black ops members, Izura had been raised with the expectation that he was going to be the best. Trained in the arts of the shinobi since the age of 4, Izura followed the footsteps of most Uchiha - that of a skilled genius. But for all the praise and excellence in whatever shinobi arts he performed, they never taught him to be anything more than an assassin. He was taught that emotions led to dangerous situations, endangering the village and the people around him. That, as a ninja, he was expected to endure the hardship of not being able to freely express those emotions. That was the sacrifice made to turn him into a killing tool, and for the most part, it worked. When Izura turned 13, his parents mysteriously disappeared for reasons unknown. Thus, he was forced to live alone, the only frequent contacts being the anbu that went with him on operations. Training to be emotionless, and being emotionless in an actual battle were two different things. It wasn't until he was ordered to destroy a local village that had chosen to take arms against the Leaf that the true lines of morality began to turn grey for the young teen anbu. He witnessed a child pick up a crossbow, attempting to fight the anbu even as the village burned to the ground, the occupants littering the streets in a scene so grisly that it made Izura sick to his stomach. The child was eliminated, of course. He had no choice. And so he found his reason, right there, standing in the middle of hell itself. The reason for a shinobi's existence: To endure the horrors of the world, so that others can live in peace.
