Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Reason that the new BL/CA matches your character:

Onamuji has always seemed to possess a naturally potent, focused chakra. Even in his younger years, he seemed to have a control over his chakra system far outpacing his peers. The art of using jutsu was less straining, and more fluid in action; while hand seals seemed to be far more efficient in focusing his chakra for usage. Eventually, he could prepare his chakra with a single hand in all situations, as opposed to the traditional two-handed seals; and jutsu that would drain a normal shinobi’s chakra seemed to take far less of a toll. Even elemental jutsu seemed to flow from him without being bound to their native attributes. It became clear that Onamuji was a gifted shinobi, his chakra far more in tune than most at his comparable level.

Over time, this natural knack would be honed into a useful advantage. His efficient usage of his natural affinity for chakra itself allowed him to force it into damaging jutsu without wasting any chakra. Where one might expend all their chakra, Onamuji would have plenty to spare. And if he didn't? Well...that was another trick he discovered he had. Not only could he feel his own chakra more effectively, he could target the chakra of others - either damaging or stealing it for himself. It was obvious, then, that his power over chakra itself was his greatest weapon...

ANBU/Med-Nin/AIT/MIT?: None.

Age: 26 (Unknown for sure, but estimated at 26)
Gender: Male
Quick Character Description: Onamuji has long, flowing auburn hair and deep blue eyes. He prefers to leave his upper body bare, six tattooed sigils around his neck like a collar being the only thing upon his skin. His lower body is covered by standard shinobi pants and wrappings, with long tassets covering the sides of his legs.
Character History: Born to parents long forgotten, not much of his early life is known. He was found on the street at the age of six, unable to speak and stealing to survive. He would’ve been punished severely for his crimes, but the shinobi who caught him was able to see the vast, untapped chakra within the child. At that point, the young Onamuji became a ward of the village and was placed in the Academy.

He excelled, and completed the Academy course at the age of eleven. After that, his constant activity as a Genin and his knack for controlling heated situations made him a Chuunin at thirteen. Onamuji was always ready to prove his worth, testing new jutsu and enjoying the risk that came with each new mission. He went on to be a deciding factor in a great many missions, supporting struggling squads and acting as a central figure in leading a few hard-won victories, even at his young age. At fifteen, he was made a Jounin without delay, passing the exam handily.

In the eleven years since, he’s only become stronger. His mastery over chakra itself has grown, and his knowledge of the elements has become vast. The young master’s goal now is the same as ever – achieve greater strength by whatever means possible and put it to use. In recent years, he's been noted as a loyal and valuable member of Suna, being utilized for delicate situations often. Despite his rough childhood and line of work, Onamuji retains a pleasant and infallibly nonchalant demeanor. It's almost off-putting to his peers, considering the fact that he has no problem gutting an enemy to make a point, yet on the same day, he could be seen going out of his way to be kind to a stranger. Despite his odd personality, his positives far outweigh his negatives, and the people of Sunagakure know and adore him.

When Makeoshimi Koho was instated as a member of Suna, Onamuji was assigned as her "guide" to help her assimilate into the village and get to work efficiently. However, unknown to Koho, he was also assigned to watch her and report any suspicious activity - tasked to apprehend or kill her should she prove a threat to the village. In time, however, the two grew close and began a casual physical relationship. Onamuji was conflicted. On one hand, he was tasked as Koho's "handler", so to speak...to watch, stop, or kill her if she caused any trouble. On the other, he was growing fond of her. Not the traditional romance, all things considered, but he liked her enough that when her family requested that he act as a protector of sorts, he accepted. Now the question lingers...will she cause him to choose between his duty to the village and protecting her from harm?

[Will require the approval of Makeoshimi Koho/Oba Kinnaku]

If it please the Council, I can post it here. I just realized it might be easier for you to deal with it all in one go :)

Previous Kin: Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan
Requested Kin: Rikudo Sennin
[Eyes of the Moon]

His past, for what it was worth, had always been a mystery. No one had any record or knowledge of his parents, and all investigation was fruitless. For all intents and purposes, he was the bastard child of Sunagakure, the village his one true parent. It disciplined him, it taught him, and it gave him a place to live. Even though it was an abstract concept, it was as real as he was going to get.

Onamuji, he would be named. No one remembered who named him that, but it stuck, and since no one else cared to put too much thought into it, it remained as his. The little shaggy, auburn-haired child was found mute and poor, stealing to survive and with nothing on his back but a set of rags. As if his blue eyes and brownish hair weren't strange enough, he had a set of tattoos on his neck and chest. An arc of little sigils stretched like a loose collar around the boy. It was...extremely strange, to say the least. A six year old boy with tattooed marks on him wasn't a common occurrence. And while the village couldn't speculate or investigate why, exactly, a little boy had tattoos, it was a mystery that haunted Onamuji for his entire life.

It wasn't until he was late into his teens that he began to learn about the old legend about a man who was called the "Sage", a master and creator of the art of ninjutsu. Some called him a living god, with powers beyond any mortal understanding. Others considered him on the other line of godhood, claiming he was simply a powerful shinobi at the dawn of their existence. The more Onamuji looked to history, the more he delved into the topic of the mysterious "Sage". It was maddening, of course, since there were hardly any real records from so long ago - and even then, it was impossible to tell the truth from fiction.

The most prevalent rumors and legends say that this "Sage" was the father of ninjutsu. They claimed he created the art, and had powers far beyond any normal shinobi. Some claimed him to be omniscient, while others claimed he wasn't a single person, but an entity that took on a new form as it pleased him. This, Onamuji figured, was likely where all the "god" talk came from. To be not a soul tied to a mortal shell, but an existence untethered and able to take a form at will? That was the realm of gods, not man.

As he delved further, the young shinobi found ancient carvings and images depicting a familiar symbol. A curved set of magatama was depicted around the Sage's neck, a religious necklace of sorts, or so it seemed. This, naturally, was a little disturbing to the young shinobi. Whoever tattooed these same emblems onto Onamuji, be it his lost parents or some religious weirdo, seemed to want his tattoo to resemble that of the ancient Sage...or, his images at least.

But the similarities didn't end there...

As he entered his fifteenth year, Onamuji began having strange dreams. Some involved Onamuji laying upon a field of grass, staring up at a full moon. Though the sky was pitch black, the moon was an eerie lavender-white. A single tear emerged from his eye, though he wasn't sad, and this tear floated up...slowly climbing until it touched the surface of the moon and sending ripples across its surface. But then, the image froze. The moon retained it's ripples, simply frozen in time. It was then that the moon revolved and revealed a blue eye - Onamuji's eye - staring back. Every time...every time...it shocked the boy from his sleep. Yet this was merely one of a number of dreams...

Another involved a shadowy figure, standing atop the highest mountain in the world, overlooking all the world below. In every direction, there were great battles being fought between shinobi. Jutsu clashed back and forth, ravaging the land, and there was a great cacophany of sound that roared across the world, reaching Onamuji and the shadowy figure at the pinnacle of the mountain. It was then that the figure turned around, his eyes matching that of the rippled moon. Six glowing magatama hanging on a necklace. All other features were hidden from view, but these two were etched into Onamuji's mind. With a single blink of his eyes, all the fighting stopped. All the roaring violence, all the fury of the elements below, all the rampant destruction...silenced in an instant. Slowly and deliberately, he raised his left hand, letting water flow from his palm onto the land below, flooding it entirely and washing away all signs of war. Then, he moved his right hand, letting rolling earth fall into the great ocean, forming landmasses. Moving his left once more, he drew forth clouds in the dark sky, letting lightning build bridges of energy between the land, sky, and waters - granting the heavens a voice and a means to interact with the earth below. With his right again, he pushed winds across the land below, creating the sound of nature and allowing all upon the landscape below to move as if alive. Finally, he raised both hands, flames carefully held within each of his palms. Pressing them together, a blinding light covered all in white. Once the flash faded, the night was made into day, and small flames of life filled the world below. All the elements had come together, it seemed, to make a new world from the old, ruined world in the wake of the great war. This dream was, for all its eeriness and horror, surprisingly calming for the young shinobi. Though it woke him from his sleep, it was a surprisingly peaceful awakening. Onamuji didn't rouse from slumber shocked and afraid, but filled with an inexplicable sense of comfort and reassurance.

When he came across the legends of this "Sage" later in his life, he felt the dreams and the Sage were connected - that it all wasn't a stupid coincidence. It couldn't be. There really had to have been a Sage, and he was the man in the dreams.

One night, deep in slumber, the dreams returned. This time, he was laying on a field of lush grass as he had before, the sky spread out above him in a peaceful black cloak. The moon shone brightly, clear and unchanged. Suddenly, however, the thunderous sound of thousands of feet shook him. For all his efforts, the auburn-haired man couldn't move. The feet of soldiers trampled onward, clashing above him as if he wasn't even there. The moon, as before, revolved, showing his blue eye staring down at the chaos below. The blood of the battlefield collected in a single teardrop, floating to the moon above and rippling it's alabaster surface. In an instant, the ripples froze on the moon, and all the fighting and the shinobi below did the same. All was stopped, as motionless as statues.

An arm extended, cloaked in shadow. It was the same figure as before, the magatama glowing red and his eyes shining the same as the moon above. They were...the exact same. Onamuji, compelled, took his hand - though he couldn't feel it. Instead, it felt as if he was lifted from the ground by some unseen force. Standing toe-to-toe with the figure, it's shadowy hand waved over Onamuji's face, closing his eyes. When the confused man opened them once more, they matched the image of the moon and the figure's eyes - rippled and light. A rush of chakra washed over him, and he was shaken from the dream.

Trembling and exhausted, Onamuji moved as best as he could to the bathroom, forgetting the lights and stumbling his way through the darkness. When he reached what he knew to be the sink, he looked up. Two rippled moons looked back amidst the cloak of black.

It was then that he knew there was no coincidence. The legends of the Sage had some truth, and his dreams were his proof. The magatama, the moon-eyes, the mastery of the elements, the shadowy figure...however it happened, it happened. Despite his unknown parentage and past - or maybe because of it - Onamuji knew that he was of the same make of this Sage, and he knew that these dreams were some sort of sign. The eyes, the moon, the overwhelming warfare...it was the Sage and his power that stopped all the bloodshed and made the world anew. Perhaps, given what had happened, it was Onamuji who was meant to bring such a new age to the world. His eyes were the Sage's eyes, and all the elements were his to control, as well. Just as with the Sage of his dreams, it had to mean that he had the power to both bring war and end it, and to bring a real peace to the world. Perhaps, he was meant to be this Sage reborn.
[WC: 1505]

Tried to deviate from the usual "fight!" scenario, considering this is more hereditary than anything, and that's a big part of his mysterious past (crazy parents tattooing him, etc.). I did a lot of research to find non-canon ways to explain it. I thought semi-prophetic dreams seemed more interesting for an RS. I hope it's an interesting read.
