Alias: Uchiha Elder
Blood Line: Uchiha
Age: 60
Gender: Male
Birthdate: June 13th
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 195 lbs
Appearance: The Uchiha Elder is normally seen adorning a black robe and/or cloak which covers his entire body, in order to hide the various scars marring his torso. Upon the back of this robe or cloak is the Uchiha clan symbol. The one scar he can not hide is the one across his left eye, where surgery was performed upon his eye. Because of this he keeps that eye closed all of the time. He has long dark grey hair, bread, and bushy eye brows.
Personality: He is an incredibly stubborn man who spends his time plotting the lives and careers of the younger Uchiha generations to benefit the clan. Above all else he wishes for the Uchiha to be recognized as Suna's head clan and plans to do what ever it takes to accomplish this. He has many well placed connections within the government and military forces. He is very strict and expects his commands to be followed without question.
History:
The youngest of the three Head of Uchiha Children Taguro was born on June 13th, 170 PP. He has two older brothers, Yuudai and Takumi, and a younger sister who he adores, Miharu. All born under the head of Uchiha were born and raised to be feared shinobi. His eldest brother Yuudai was destined to take over for their father and lead the Uchiha to greatness.
At the time of Taguro's birth the Sanctuary Wars were well underway, staining the sands with more Uchiha blood than the clan would have liked. But the clan stayed true to the Kazekage and Stewards wishes and lead the attack, coming to Soon's Sanctuarys' aid. Both his brother's, Yuudai and Takumi fighting along side their father under his rule. Not many years after Takashi Kin was appointed as steward the Sanctuary War finally came to an end, but with a high price for Uchiha. The death of San Fang's leader was bittersweet as Taguro's father fell when Taguro himself was only three years old. From then on Yuudai took control of the Uchiha clan in his father stead. With the San Fang clan at a great loss, and death of their leader, his daughter of 12 years of age is captured and forced to marry King Solomus. Thus forcing the remainder of the clan to merge with that of the Soon Merchant Guild after the San Fang clan had funded, in secret, most of the Grand Palais. The daughter was never thought of again.
A few years of rest and peace followed Yuudai's succession as head of the Uchiha clan. By this time Taguro was ten and already well trained as a shinobi, having already unlocked his Sharingan by protecting his younger sister Miharu from a man who had broken into the Uchiha estate. Nothing was thought of this attempt on her life. The Uchiha had many enemies and were always being threatened by rival clans. It was also timed well with the new outbreak of plague washing through the country. The attempt of Miharu's life was quickly over looked. However the aid Sunagkure once showed towards Soon during their war was not remembered as the Sanctuary shut it's doors on Sunagkure and it's people during this epidemic. Years passed with no cure. Eventually the council began to contemplate fleeing underground, a measure Yuudai did not support. The Uchiha were a proud, noble clan who would not run away from this sickness. Karma caught up with Yuudai's most vocal declaration of protest as Takumi was stricken with the mysterious plague. With no medical aid from Soon Taguro's brother soon succumbed to the illness. It was only after this loss that Yuudai began supporting the decision to move underground, not wanting to risk the lives of his mother and remaining two siblings. Funding this project, with the backing of the Uchiha, Excavation began and thus the source of the plague found. The only way to rid the country of Barynx's corruption was to seal it within Takahashi Hana and Sunahoshi Keikou. Both giving up their lives for the greater good of the country. Such a heavy loss was greatly felt by the Uchiha.
It was during this time of grieving and defenseless state that a most horrific atrocity was committed. Taguro would now be 16 when his entire family would be slaughtered within their own home. The first to die was their mother, silently and efficiently. But the smell of blood to those trained can not be hidden. Immediately Yuudai took his brother and sister to safety, telling them both to stay hidden and for Taguro to protect Miharu. His brother never returned. Only his head within the grasp of his murderer. With both his brother's now dead Taguro froze, unable to move. It was only Miharu's screams with woke him. The masked man dragged her away by her hair as she feebly tried to defend herself. For Miharu had yet to unlock her sharingan. Springing into action Taguro came to his sisters aid, activating his sharingan. He slashed Miharu's hair away from the murderer's grip with his kunai. He knew fighting him would lead to his death. Yuudai was the stronger of them all and this man had killed him. If he was going to keep Miharu safe he needed to run. He needed to get her far away. They only made it down the hall when the man caught him. As hard as he fought it was no use. This man was much stronger than him and after breaking both Taguro's arms, smashing his skull, and digging out one of his sharingan with his own kunai, Taguro dropped to the floor. Unable to move. Unable to loss consciousness. For what he witnessed his sister endure before her brutal death would haunt him for the rest of his days. Before darkness consumed him, unaware, his remaining sharingan would change to that of the Mangekyou.
A year later Taguro awoke within a hospital bed after being in a coma. In that time both his arms had healed, however, his head and eye remained bandaged. After the assassination had been discovered Yuudai's Mangekyou had been transplanted into Taguro's wounded one, leaving a large scar over his left eye. The surgery had been rushed, in fear the dead eye of Yuudai would become useless. In doing so damage had been done to the ocular nerve, making Taguro unable to use said eye later on in his years in everyday life. The one responsible for his family's death was never found.
From that day, for whatever reason Taguro was left alive whether it be divine or coincidence, he took over as head of the Uchiha clan in his brother's wake.Though filled with rage and revenge he channeled through emotions into resorting his clan, raising it from the ashes. However within that year the decline of the Uchiha name had begun. Many branches went into hiding, in fear of the assassination. He arranged his marriage to that of an Uchiha woman to help secure his tite as head of the clan, for their were those who thought him cursed. Within a year of his marriage his heir was born. He quickly pledged allegiance to the newly appointed Steward and Kage, Judori and Hiro. Just as quickly he climbed the ladder of ANBU, creating a fearful name for himself. His code name being Reaper. By age 28 he was one of the Kage right hand men and so was part of the ANBU group to discover the forces who attempted to invade the underground. And thus the second war of his time, the Plague War, began. The same plague which had taken his brother Takumi, yet spared him from a cruel and savage death. Taguro fought hard to protect his country, but more importantly the Uchiha name. Once more he wished to bring pride and nobility to his clan. What ever strength he rebuild into the Uchiha name was taken when he, and his group of ANBU, failed to hunt and return Daisuke, the only remaining Sunahoshi thought left after his brother Hiro's death.
Shortly after the decent into the underground Taguro honorably retired from the shinobi life, realizing his strength in battle would not win him the power he wished the Uchiha to once more hold. He strengthened many bonds and made very powerful allies within high ranks of the political structure, giving council to officials and the like. His new strength, to this very day, was politics. His every thought bent towards reviving his beloved clan to what it once was, even if it meant manipulating the very Uchiha members he governed over. Through the years he arranged many marriages to benefit the clan and by now Uchiha blood runs through many noble clans and official titles within the government. However he has never recovered from his beloved sisters death and has become very hard and emotionally stoic to others. His one wish is to discover the one responsible for his families murder.
