Name: Ueno, Sashine
Age: 9
Gender: Female
Sex: Female
General Description: Defensive in many aspects, Sashine looks out for herself first and foremost. A very fiery personality meant to push people away like a flame on a stick waved toward those who come near. It can be said that this is because her safety had always been something she fought to secure, even at this young age.
Despite this, once her well-being is secured, Sashine’s next priority is to help those around her (whether she is willing to admit this openly or not). The young girl cares about people and what they think about her even when a façade of strength and unwavering self-confidence is all she likes to show. These hidden feelings are her friends as far as she can see despite her biggest flaw being a cocky, careless attitude when she starts to feed too much confidence into herself. As far as hiding her own emotions, she also sees it as strength because the less she looks into herself, the more she can put into others and this has given her a watchful eye and a curiosity toward other humans.
This curiosity is a big drive toward her goal to continue living because in a way, humans can never be explained so simply yet statistically and with a close eye, they’re so easy to read; a confusing phenomenon to the child. This curiosity also drives just how far she’s willing to go and how risky she is willing to be, going by the motto of “I’ll try anything once.” Love it or hate it, high consequence or low consequence, she’s willing to think it over and as long as she doesn’t see herself dying, she will likely do it even if it means risking others to do so.
Physically, Sashine is around 136 centimeters, weighing 32 kilograms. Many things about her physicality are very plain other than the fact that she looks slightly older than those in her age group, if only for a bit. Her face is round and her brown eyes large with a gleam. The wavy pink hair is short and in an uneven bob, thinking of long hair as inefficient and bothersome. Her usual attire is in soft, pastel colors which she doesn’t pick out but rather, lets her mother pick out for her to give some leeway to their conflicting viewpoints.
History: The Ueno Household was always filled to the brim. Brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandfathers, all living in the same block. There was rarely a moment where Sashine could recall a silence or privacy. If Sashine could recall, she had 8 siblings, her parents, 4 cousins, 2 uncles and an aunt all under the same roof at its most chaotic point. The structure was simple. The strong were the dominant, the strong would survive. Since her youngest memory, she could recall being overshadowed in the ways of the shinobi. Her siblings always worked so hard to obtain strength and to fight each other over what would be affection and praise from her family members but the difference was always so clear to her. She was fodder and they were predators.
Sashine wasn’t aggressive and this was always a big conflict point because despite the bloodlines, it was clear there was something different in her, there was a lack of bloodlust, a lack of fighting spirit and as it was what their clan represented, Sashine had always felt like she had been forcibly pushed down by the rest and held down. She was used to taking a punch and if there was anything she knew well, it was that. As a consequence, it was commonplace to be left alone even in a large, rowdy family. It seemed despite this, her future had been locked from the point she was born into the family. Whether or not she was cut out to make it, she would be a shinobi… or die trying.
