Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The boy had successfully made it to the gates of Stone, and not a moment too soon. It was there that the boy collapsed of his injuries. The Stone shinobi now had a choice. They could leave the teen before the gates, suffering as he was. The second option and the most beneficial for both the village and the boy, would be to bring him in and treat his wounds. Regardless of the decision made the boy now lay unconscious before the gates.

If one were to examine him they wouldn't notice the boy's injury due to him laying face down. If they were to turn him over they would immediately notice how pale the boy was. Not only that but also a fresh dark wound lay across his chest. The curse marks on his chest would also be visible if they moved aside his golden chain. The mark that showed he was a shinobi of Kirigakure lay across his stomach. One that was well traversed in the ways of the medical field would be able to tell that he was poisoned, and slowly fading away.

Another thing that stood out about the boy was the ruby that was etched into his left cheek. The blood red ruby was still hot to the touch, though, it gave the boy no physical pain. The backpack strapped to the boy's back was full of his belongings.

The towering man approached from a slight angle to where the child lay, returning from a training ground of his in the Petrified Redwoods. He didn't recognize the child right away and he practically slid over on his knees when his nose caught the familiar, coppery smell of blood. The tall man remained calm, carefully rolling the figure over with his right hand, eyes flicking over the oddities and made note of the Kirigakure marking as well as the gem; he was no med-nin that was for sure but he was wise enough to recognize someone on their last legs.

Ryu grunted slightly, scooping the kid into the crook of his right arm and holding the fading kid against his chest as he stood up; letting the unconscious form be supported by the bound left arm under his clothing while he dashed smoothly as he could to the gate. He would take responsibility of the oversight for the child, fill out the needed paperwork after it was affirmed that he would indeed live. Just as quickly as he could, Ryu would aim himself towards The Hope Clinic and see if he could harry a medic or three into stitching the kid closed.

It had taken Kei a few days to get used to his new duties as a Guardian of the Hidden Stone. There was a lot to learn and Kei had to step up his training regime to fit the demands of his new job but he was finally starting to set into a new routine. One of Kei's favorite duties so far was patrols. Things so far had been quiet and it gave Kei time to just think and mull over the trajectory of his life. For once, things in Kei's mind were somewhat peaceful. Kei was over by the gates when he noticed the commotion. Too much noise for just a merchant. It was his duty to respond in such situations, even if just to observe and make sure the village was in no immediate danger. Kei warped over to a good vantage point and saw another shinobi responding. From what the white haired boy could tell he wasn't a Guardian, probably a chuunin or jounin, still Kei was pretty sure he was a stone shinobi. The giant of a man seemed to be aiding another, smaller boy who looked to be injured.

Kei swore under his breath as the man started to walk away and, with a neon blur of motion was standing in front of the man and holding up his badge, ready to assess the situation and assist if necessary. Guardian here, what's the situation? Kei wished he'd had time for some medical training, best he had was first aid. Regardless he put a finger to his headset in case he needed to call for backup.

Ryu didn't exactly slide to a halt, he stepped and adjusted his momentum so he was right in front and turned slightly to the side of the guardian that suddenly made an appearance. "Unknown. Returned from training and found him face down in the dirt. Extent of injury is unknown and needs medical attention." He snapped off a report smoothly, without compassion and as quickly as the request for the situation left the mouth of the masked guard. "Kazehi Ryu, Iwa Jounin, Main Branch. I'll take responsibility and charge of paperwork." He glanced at the pale kid who looked as though something had done an effective job mauling him before staring intently at the ANBU member waiting for the decision to be reached as to the fate of the kid he was holding.

Kei took quick note of everything the Jounin, Kazehi Ryu, had said. Kei was inwardly relieved that the other man was willing to file most of the paperwork, although kei would still have to give his own report to his superiors. Kei tried to get a better look at the wound but wasn't able to tell much but he was able to see the mark of Kirigakure on the boy's stomach. So he was a foreigner. "Noted, it looks like the boy is from Water Country and he may be pursued. I'll serve as an escort. To keep an eye on him and keep an eye out for hostiles. Let's move." Kei noted it would be pointless to try and use his jutsu to carry the boy to the hospital, moving at those speeds could worsen the boy's condition. Kei also made a note to let other Guardians in the area to keep an eye on the gate, no need to raise undue alarm. But vigilance was a key trait to a Guardian.

For some reason, Ryu had been holding his breath; he didn't know when he'd done so and only noticed when he exhaled slowly at the words of the Guardian. "Understood." His chin jerked in as best a salute that he could manage without jostling his current ward. He lunged forward in a quick, smooth lope that ate up distance like only a long legged shinobi could manage; keeping to the pace that the smaller, white haired Guardian provided for them.
