Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Contract Searches and Inactivity

With contract searches being based purely on RP, there will be occasions where spotty activity may occur between either the searcher or the moderator. So to handle this situation, the contract team has decided to provide a guideline for both players and contract moderators to abide by to keep the process more efficient and hopefully more smoothly.

For Players:

If a Contract Moderator doesn't post for 2 weeks (14 days):
  • Players, in the event your assigned contract moderator hasn't posted within the span of two weeks since your last post, the following options are available for you:
    • You may request for a new moderator, so he/she can continue from where the previous moderator had left off. You make this request within the Contract Requests forum: Click Here
    • You may have your current contract thread voided without penalty, and also not be susceptible to a two month down time period. To go about this, you must make a notice of this within the Contract Requests forum which can be found here: Click Here. If this option is chosen, you can immediately re-do your search (even with the same roleplay) and have it re-rolled by a moderator with a +1 Search Bonus that stacks with your RP bonus. But do note, the Search Bonus only applies to normal searches -not- dual, and depletes after use, regardless if a contract creature is found or not. So there is no stacking of these Search Bonuses (Cap is +1).

[Dual Contract Searches] If your companion doesn't post for 3 weeks (21 days):
  • Players, if your companion hasn't posted within the span of 3 weeks from the last moderator post, the following option is available for you:
    • You may request for the thread to be voided, regardless of your companions choice/opinion. You do this by making a note of this within your thread, and also contacting the moderator to be aware of your choice. After the following steps has been completed, you are now able to re-do your contract search and not be subjugated to a two month wait time penalty, and also be given a +1 Search Bonus that stacks with RP bonus. But do note, the Search Bonus only applies to normal searches -not- dual, and depletes after use, regardless if a contract creature is found or not. So there is no stacking of these Search Bonuses (Cap is +1).

[Dual Contract Searches] If you were inactive for 3 weeks (21 days) and your companion voided your dual search thread:
  • Players, if your companion had voided the dual search you both shared together due to your inactivity, it means your search has ended. However, it doesn't mean it counts as a "Failed Search" on your character's records. But you would still be subjected to the two month wait time penalty from your last search. You also gain no Search Bonus.

For Contract Moderators:

If Contract Searcher doesn't post for 1 month (30 days):
  • Contract Moderators, in the event you are moderating for a player who hasn't posted within the span of a month from your last post, the following option is available for you:
    • You may deem the thread as "Incomplete" by making a post within their search thread, and also making note of this within the player's respective Contract Request thread. When a thread is deemed "Incomplete", it means the moderator has released all responsibility for the thread, and also that the thread has prematurely ended. Explanation of "Incomplete" status follows in the next section below.
    • If the thread is a Dual Search, same rules will apply. The only difference is, regardless if one player posts, the thread can be deemed as "Incomplete" if the companion hasn't posted a month since your last mod.

"Incomplete" Status:
  • If your thread has been deemed as "Incomplete" by a Contract Moderator, this means your thread has been prematurely ended by the Contract Moderator, and that the moderator will no longer be held responsible for the continuation of your thread due to your inactivity. The reason for this decision is because it can become quite a handful for contract moderators to moderate several threads, and it becomes inconvenient for the moderators when there was no activity from the searcher for a month, then suddenly they reappear requesting for a continuation. At this point, the moderator could already have his/her hands filled with several other threads or no longer remembers how he/she wanted the thread to span out. Which would also be inconvenient to the player. However, if your thread was deemed as "Incomplete" it doesn't mean it counts as a "Failed Search" on your character's records. But you would still be subjected to the two month wait time penalty from your last search.
