"Ákvörðun þín?", a question asked from the lips of Kyourin towards his son while adjusting his backside against the carved stone that made up the nearby maiden statue. The importance of his question mouthed in the language of their forefathers spewed from his lips with such authority that his position on the totem pole was clearly evident. Kyourin was a cold soul with a warm heart, at least when it came to business of the flesh. He was a giant of a man, his olive skin marred by black markings which fully enveloped his exposed torso and muscle structure. His pupils which were almost borderline the color of fresh snow mixed with a hint of blue did not for a single second spare their glance towards his son's prescense but remained attached to the unmoving ocean before them.
Resting his fingertip into the fine sand that made up the beachfront, Kanki's fingertips continued making rough designs within the grains of sand as he passively listened to his father's words. He knew his place and position when within his father's vicinity and as such he kept within a child' place a demenor which showed his level of home training. Squatting, Kanki like his father, was completely void of any form of torso covering which exposed his similarly designed tattoos. However in keeping with his nature of assuming his role at all times, Kanki's anbu mask remained on to no objection of his father. "This village, something about it feels off...the air is thick with conflict." His eyes, their color matching Kyourin's intensity were genetically inherited by Kanki unlike his skin tone and hair, both as white as a snowcapped mountain peak.
His neck muscles tensed slightly as his head position shifted to give his eyes access to his son's location, his pupils squinting just slightly while his mind reaffirmed his belief that Kanki had yet to learn something vital. "The shinobi world is and will always be filled to the rim with conflict....that is why your job here is important. Afterall information is vital to survival.", his head snapped back to return his gaze to the ocean allowing his near waistlength but untamed hair to dance for a few seconds. "Við vinstri heim þessari ástæðu og þessum sökum einum ... ekki gleyma því.", his tone of voice had softened which signified an importance of his message that transcended mere authority by becoming words of the heart and not just the mind.
"You do not have to remind me, that's why my status as anbu is vital...", his lips pursed after signing beneath his mask. His father was correct though, they had a lot to accomplish in a certain time range which meant that he would have to become more aggressive. Standing fully and dusting the sand which still gripping onto his palms off, his eyes closed before he spoke out again. "Skuggi, hví þú vera þögul?", his words being strangely directed not towards his father but to his vacant right side. Although it would seem he was speaking to air Kyourin and Kanki were fully aware of whom it was projected towards.
"Bjóstu mig að segja eitthvað", Skuggi's response to Kanki was filled with obvious sarcasm as the black furred wolf remained resting at Kanki's side. Trails of white haze flowed from it's body constantly as it laid there, the wolf's form possessing white markings that glowed in the same pattern that was on Kanki. Skuggi was Kanki's totem spirit...otherwise it was a spiritual presence that only those with Katai heritage could see and interact with.
A large white paw rested suddenly upon Kyourin's shoulder, the nails calmly pressing down onto the skin enough to not deal physical harm. The large polar bear looking down on Kyourin quickly speaking in an inaudibled tone meant only for a private conversation between the two, "Hann tekur eftir að móðir hans ...". The bear's physical body was impressive like it's medium, though because the were one in body and soul Styrkur's body also had scars. Kyourin unlike his son was battlehardened so his spirit naturally reflected such.
Kyourin for the current moment paid neither Skuggi nor Styrkur's words any mind, but kept his attention on the water slightly enticed by the star's reflection that shown off it's surface. It reminded him of home, their true home that is in how clearly visible the night's beauty could be observed. Crossing his arms, his body finally relaxed with a sudden exhale. "Our mission isn't a simple one....though drawn out it will require every inch of detail to be paid attention to..."
