General Description: With short, dark hair, black eyes and average height Shikao doesn't stand out much in the street. However, it changes once he jumps into a swimming pool, because wearing just trunks reveals his extra ordinary musculature for 12-years old boy. When not in swimming pool, he doesn't have any favorite clothes, so he wears whatever clean he can find in his room.
History: Born as first into new generation of Wakabayashi clan, Shikao ended as Big Brother not only for his younger siblings, but also cousins, nieces and nephews. Although he wasn't first child to his parents, there was big gap between him and his older siblings and thus they were more like aunts and uncles rather than sisters and brothers. In fact, his sister Ayame was pregnant with one of his nephews at the time of his birth and clan in general was experiencing a baby boom for couple of years afterwards, which has ended only three years ago.
Wakabayashi clan owns a block of flats where most of clansmen lives in, so usually all children are brought up together by whole extended family. Therefore, even in case of both parents dying on a mission, no kid ever becomes truly orphan in the clan. Baby-sitting job normally falls to those members who are currently at home, however, due to boom it was quite tiresome endavor. Thus it was quickly expected of Shikao to always behave properly as example for the younger children and not much later to generally help with their upbringing. And that is how he became the Big Brother for the youngest generation of Wakabayashi clan.
Being brother/cousin/uncle, nanny, pacifier, protector, teacher and comforter, often all at once, had profound effect on how he grew up. First and foremost, he is more mature than most of kids as his age, which came from taking care of others and solving their problems. Secondly, he is very protective of people he cares about, for now it's only his clan members, both younger and adults, but it will surely change once enters Academy. He also learnt to hide his problems from others and solve them by himself, because he couldn't burden his younger clansmen with them.
Probably most important day in Shikao's life was at the age of three when his great uncle Tobirama took him for the first time to a swimming pool. He enjoyed being in water since his initial submergence. Hours later when they were going home, the boy was already able to keep himself afloat and even paddle around a bit. He liked it so much, he made Tobirama take him to pools again and again, thus after couple of months he was swimming swiftly. Once Shikao was old enough to go to pool by himself, he started spending even more time there. Thanks to him all kids in Wakabayashi clan as well as couple adults knows how to swim, because he took them with him and taught them, although only part of them enjoys it. After the years of training, his build became very athletic and in water he feels like fish in... well, water.
Spending his whole childhood with almost only other members of clan he is now very excited about going into Academy, meeting non-relatives peers and making friends.
