Aiyoku comes from a long lineage of Stone shinobi, some med-nin, others ANBU, they’d held almost every position plausible in the past and she for one had dreams of being the first of her family to attain the rank of Tsuchikage. She was born into a big family, having three older brothers and later a younger brother making her the only daughter and led neatly into her becoming quite the tomboy, hanging out with her brothers and playing with them. As she aged though her body started to fill out and match that of her mothers who also had quite the curvy physique. From that she became less of a tomboy and buckled down more, learning more about her clan and their ways so she would be ready to graduate from the academy when the time came.
As she aged she was able to learn more about both the Shinobi way her bloodline, graduating to Genin rank and gained a new found respect for nature, so much so in fact that she started to enjoy simply going and getting lost in the forests of the lands around the village and just adventuring, she was also attempting to unlock the power hidden within her, as it was all those in her clan. Her brothers had all managed to unlock the Kyoubaku bloodline within themselves and she was just kind of left in the lurch, unsure how or even why when she had researched and learnt so much about nature.
That was until one day she found herself being cornered be a rather large, black and orange snake. It was an unusual sight for this part of the world and even with her ninja training the creature that was at least eight times her own length lunged at and bit her injecting its poison into her. The adrenaline started to pump, she was dead right? This snake looked exotic and its poison was more likely than not, deadly. Out of pure instinct she grabbed the snakes’ head that was still attached to her and yanked at it, dragging the fangs from within herself and watching as the purple coloured venom oozed from both the beasts mouth and her puncture wounds, but was she scared? No, she was overcome with the urge to fight and that was something she’d never had before, especially toward an animal. She threw the head to the ground and as if awakened by the burning sensation coursing through her veins started to form the seals of an earth jutsu she’d learnt a while back, except the jutsu that came out wasn’t of the earth element and instead of stone spires piercing the creature it was instead set upon by thorned branches that proceeded to grab at and pierce snake. She was confused at first and took steps back as it fought against the painful bind and again, tried to cast a jutsu, a different one this time that would fire a bullet of water at the snake and Knock it out, she truly didn’t want to kill it, that wasn’t something she enjoyed even if it attacked her. Once again though her jutsu came as easily as she’d remembered but instead of a water bullet, it was a sharp chunk of wood that pierced the pinned reptiles thin skull, killing it instantly. She sank to her knees, the confusion on what had happened subsiding though she now mourned for the snake that had died needlessly, she could have escaped by simply knocking it out, that was the perfect world situation at least. Instead she now knelt, weeping for the creature that had tried to kill her and eventually she passed out. She awoke some time later, the snakes corpse having vanished with no signs of how or where and despite the poison it had injected into her, she was still alive, she would shrug it off as if her bloodline awakening had purified the poison but in truth there was more to it that she would not soon discover.
At this point most people would have feared the snakes, hated them even but for whatever reason she didn’t, she loved how effective it was at what it did, thus birthing her respect for not just snakes but poisonous creatures in general. She started to fine tune her techniques to match that of her poisonous friends, going so far as to eventually start experimenting on them and their various venoms, as well as those found in plants and fungi. Some say she has even attempted to splice the DNA of the creature and plants into her own body and her especially large, sharp canine teeth would make you believe it too.
It was during her time as a Genin that she started to become more like a snake, having chosen the animal as a base to hone her skills and surpass what she already was. She became good at hiding, moving silently and springing surprise attacks with her envenomed daggers, it was her Jounin team leader that noticed her potential first and put her in for the AiT exam, needless to say she passed it with flying colours, despite her usual demeanour she was deathly efficient as an ANBU, clean and quiet. She would spend a couple of years as an AiT, honing her animal affinities and taking on more traits than just the snake and it certainly improved her performance, she would be promoted after a particularly high ranking missing where she was tasked to assassinate a party of political delegates from a foreign land that were attempting to userp power from the Daimyo of the earth country. On top of this she was often tasked with creating poisons for the other ANBU shinobi as well as antidotes since they seemed to poison themselves quite a lot, much to her amusement of course, their clumsiness was amusing as were the panicked looks on their faces when they ran in begging to be cured.
