Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

OOC: Sorry I know I do not have to post at the gates when I came back but i simply could not resist. I feel like it's better for continuity. If someone could just play along i would be grateful.

“Well that was a longer vacation than was totally necessary!”

He chuckled to himself as he walked towards the Dragon Tooth Pass. He had not been here in some time and honestly he even wondered who was still around. Who was alive and who was dead. Shinobi rarely if anything lasted longer than their teens or early twenties. Itonami himself was crossing over soon to be thirty-three. He took in a deep breath taking in the damp air that he missed so much. The clouds overhead making reality seem real…? He questioned himself at that statement. Sort of a silly thing to think if you asked him

He chuckled again to himself. Daydreaming off in wonderland was great but getting his feet moving and chakra flowing again was something he missed.

My how the time sure flies, he thought to himself. Goodness knows his family was at the brink of annoyance. All this talk about finding a girl and finally settling down. He would soon be at the years where the girls would be far too young to even consider. Something about the concept of if they would be in your squad as trainees they were too young to fall in love with rang a bell. Itonami had gone on his vacation as a Jounin after stepping down as the Medical Sennin. He wondered again at how many of his close students still were alive and around. His face grew a little dark at that thought though.

A small pinkish red fox brushed against his leg and brought him back to reality. “Sorry Kitsune-chan. I always forget you are around and willing to cheer me up.” The Fox yipped as if she was annoyed but continued along the way. She was the only one who had traveled with him and coming home was once again long overdue.

As he made his way officially into the Pass he reached into his bag and pulled out his passport for the proof of his identification. Cloud Jounin was a nice easy role to fill. Maybe he would do more or maybe he would just play as a background character like he normally wanted to…who knew? What was even more exciting was the fact that he would get to be a part of the action again. He missed everything that went with his life. Vacation was great and everything but when it came down to it, nothing was as a fun as being a shinobi.

The real question he had now though was who grant him access to the village. He bet it would be an Anbu. Normally Jounin did not travel around the village doing patrols. Either way he would smile, be polite, and embrace what this new Cloud Village had to offer him.

Itonami walked forward for quite a while without a sound other than his gentle humming, the sound of the wind occasionally moving a rock, and the soft pitter patter of Kitsune-chan’s paws. It made him a little nervous to be honest but it was not something that he couldn’t handle with a slight smile and a more positive attitude. He wondered if maybe he used chakra or ran someone would notice him more…though that could lead to someone thinking he was a threat…

Ataeru decided that the best decision would be to simply walk along and get stopped by someone eventually. Soon enough a man in a mask confronted him. “Passport please for identification.” The cloaked man held out his hand. Ataeru never liked the way the Anbu did things; probably the reasoning for this was because he was an Empathetic. Going emotionless and just being a killing machine always weighed down on him. People were people and as such it only seemed right that they should be allowed to be that. Ataeru handed it over to the young man, “Crazy weather we are having right now right?” The weather was always like this in the Cloud village but in a vain attempt to lighten the mood he tried. The Fox at his feet only rolling her eyes at him.

The Anbu nodded once and handed it back to him. Ignoring his comment he replied with, “Approved welcome back to the village.” With that, such as shadows they were, he was gone. Ataeru gave a sigh and looked over at his furry friend. “Tough life…very little fun.” The fox merely nodded, not really sure what to do in such a situation. Ataeru chuckled to himself. Well despite all that he was finally back and to him that meant he could get back to work.
