Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Toshi yawned. "Waking up at 3 in the morning isn't easy. Maybe I should make it my focus to wake up earlier. I could get a lot done throughout the day." Toshi rose, jumping out of bed and sticking the landing to the floor. "And the crowd goes wild! 10's all across the board! I don't know how this kid does it!" He tried to keep his voice down, knowing that others were probably still asleep. He gave himself a quiet clap and a pat on his back for his performance.

The boy bandaged himself up, from his legs up to his arms. He put on a pair of black cargo shorts and his usual tan shroud as he headed out his room door. He grabbed the backpack where he would put his food before he left. "Hmm hmm hmmm hmm hmm." Toshi hummed a symphony as he went into the kitchen. He grabbed what was prepared for him, hoping that he wouldn't be gone as long as he expected. "Thanks Nao." Toshi said as he made his way to exit the Sakurako Clan House.

The boy looked to the Kage monument as he remembered what he promised himself. "When I come back, I'm going to scale that mountain, and see what it's like being at the top." The boy loved to push himself, wondering what his true limits were everytime he trained. The morning was quiet, he knew most in the village were sleep. He'd make his way to the gates, mentally preparing himself for his first venture outside of the village.

He didn't have much trouble leaving the gates. A gate guardian stopped him and asked for his permissions. After explaining his case, he headed out of the village's gates. "That's going to be me one day." Toshi knew that his future would be bright, even though he would work as a shadow. Having his own mask, going out on missions, it was just a list of things he planned to accomplish. He looked forward to the missions he would go on while serving the village. Being out here alone would be a fresh start on knowing what to do to survive.

He moved through the forest, only a backpack with the food he and Nao packed was on him. It took him a few hours before he heard rushing waters in the distance. Water, one of his natural elements. Listening to nature, the boy became attuned to using jutsu of the environment around him. After setting up camp, Toshi set up a fire and ate some of what was packed. He'd sleep through the afternoon and begin a hike in the morning.

The next day the boy awoke early morning once more. He slowly moved from under the makeshift tent that he fixed up. With a yawn he looked over to the rushing waters nearby. He'd begin his morning by washing his face, and taking a sip of the water from his cupped hands. The water was cold, but it felt great to the young Yuki. He abruptly dove into the water with a great splash, swimming to the other side. Starting the day with a bit of excersize was great. It's what kept his heart pumping.

Toshi kept calm as he stood near the edge of the water. He looked below the surface of the clear liquid, still dripping wet. The water was clear, and one could see to the bottom of the stream the water was so pure. Fish gracefully swam, jumping out of the water every so often, giving the boy quite a show. "You guys wouldn't mind if I take a few of you for food would you?" The student still had some of the food rations that he and Nao packed before he left the Clan House, so he decided not to bother them in their natural habitat. He did give them a hello and good morning as he looked for a quiet place to train.

He felt something like a grown up being out on his own outside of the village's gates. He felt some type of freedom, though at the same time, he already missed being home. Making it to what seemed to be the bottom of a waterfall, Toshi thought it would be a great place to take a break from hiking. Keeping his mind calm, the boy found himself gazing at the two statues on either side of it. He sat Indian style upon the flat surface of the water. He meditated most of the morning. He couldn't pass up an opportunity at such a seriene scene.

Toshi took in a deep breath as he looked towards the top of the waterfall once more. He exhaled as he stood up, looking at the water crash land at the bottom of the waterfall. "It's beautiful." The boy continued to look on as the waters seemed to glisten and sparkle under the morning sun. "It'd be quite the challenge to make it to the top." The boy grinned as he began stretching.

Toshi sat down atop of the water, now looking down the waterfall. He was pooped after completing such a challenging task. He started back at the bottom, and it seemed that he would never make it to the top. He recounted the number of times that he tried to scale the waterfall. "It only took me 13 tries. And I only almost drowned once." Toshi let out a hearty laugh, this place was unbelievable. He was glad that he ventured out of the village's gates. The last time he was outside of Konoha was when he didn't belong to the village.

The sun began to set, giving the sky an orange and purple tint. It was almost time to get some rest. Toshi moved back to his camping grounds, creating a campfire with a few logs that were laying around. The food that he and Nao packed was already gone. The boy had quite the appetite. Luckily he picked up on a few survival tactics while out traversing the outer lands. He made a mental note to visit Nao at the Byoin. He remembered Nao saying something about plants. Maybe he could show the boy which one's he could eat while out venturing. He promised Nao that he would be gone only a couple of days, but he'd got caught up while training with nature.

Suddenly dark clouds began to roll in. "Don't Tell me that it's about to-" With a loud roar, streaks of lightening flashed in the sky. Toshi's ears began to ring loudly. He covered his ears with his palms as though it would stop the pain. The strikes of lightning were so close that the entire area flashed white. The boy's eyes had to adjust as he tried to regain his sight. He noticed the waters moving much faster and the winds begining to pick up. The trees and bushes nearby began to sway with the wind. Being out in the storm without a roof overhead was dangerous.

As he began to decide what to do, Toshi felt something bump into his leg. He thought it was an itch at first, but when he looked down, he saw a rather large turtle nibbling on his shroud. Toshi figured it was startled by the sudden rain. The boy picked the turtle up slowly, careful not to startle it. "It's ok little guy, a little water wouldn't hurt." As the boy raised the turtle to look at it eye level, a strike of lightning came down close to the camp ground. The ground began to rumble, and Toshi stumbled towards the waterfall. He kept the turtle clutched tightly in his arms. The reptile hid it's arms, legs, and head in it's shell. It found it's safety within the shell, but it wouldn't stop the matters that occured. The green eyed boy began to find balance near the edge, though right when he found footing another thunder strike caused the ground to rumble. Toshi fell down the length of the waterfall.

He crashed into the water at the bottom. Things began to fade to black as Toshi lost his conscious. He woke up laying on his back, looking up to a full moon in a dimly lit sky. He laid on some land near the waterfall. He blinked a few times, unsure if he was dreaming. The rain stopped, and the fresh dew on the ground indicated that he wasn't out for long. He coughed up a bit of water, taking in deep slow breaths as he came to a stand. He looked around, and only saw the turtle that he was once trying to calm down, making it's way into the nearby forest. He watched until it disappeared behind some bushes. "Hmm..."

The clouds were gone from the sky. The storm must have continued to move in the distance. He hoped no one else would have to wether that storm. The moon and stars lit the land below. Toshi sighed, just glad that it was over. Everything was once again quiet, as though the storm hadn't passed through at all. Toshi felt that there was a presence that passed through the area, but he wasn't quite sure what could cause something of that magnitude. "What a day."
