Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
From afar, Shoma gazes upon the building. Much does not seem to be left of it. Having heard of the Cabal's deeds, the swordsman looks to see the results for himself. With Ava resting after a training session, the Fire Native walks about the grounds. He envisions that this area looks much like the remains of Leaf City, the last place his Elder Master was known to have been. Earth's best interpretation of Hell? Possibly.
Shoma did not hope to know however, what a other-worldly Hell is like. The things he has seen so far within this world have been bad enough.But the image of this land does serves as a continuos reminder that this is the world his must train the young master to survive in.
Amaya stood on top a roof looking down at Shoma. She was a bit confused or rather surprised that he was there. Amaya new the village would eventually catch wind of her treachery and would send hunters but who. In a way it would make sense to send a sword for higher rather than risk the lives of their people. It was a fools earn to come after her and Amaya assumed that they would know this. Amaya would call to her alleged pursuer to get his attention. She wasn't much for games of cat and mouse and thought it appropriate to discourage further pursuits, nip it in the bud.
"Wow, well if it isn't the Samurai. I was wondering who tripped my alarm but I didn't expect to see you here. Are you here to take me back to Stone? I won't go quietly love."
Amaya's emerald green eyes illuminated under her dark bangs. Her wild like hair picking up and falling as the winds direction became apparent. In one hand she held a great spear close to her side. It's blade ridged and it's body was as long as her body. She was dressed in jade and short attire fitting to Suna's harsh weather. Her face remained as it always has, a faint smile constant and unwavering. Her head held high in esteem as her eyes darted down to whomever she addressed. Her posture was prestigious and all manner of an accomplished militant. A warrior she was, the Queen of Battle is her title.
"Come Samurai, let us get to it shall we."

The samurai was called too by a feminine voice and the voice would be a familiar one. From above, upon a structure, woman is in view holding a spear. Her words did not seem inviting and implied a soon-to-come hostility. "Akira Amaya?! What are you..." The attire she dawns is far different from the uniform she wore back when the first met, but not everyone dresses the same daily. But her fashion did change in the sense that her outfit is far more revealing. Neither of these factors are more surprising than seeing her HERE.
In a moment, she in ready to battle a man she once stated she trusted, a woman that he was once ready to entrust his life to the capture a Jane Doe. "So, is it possible our Jane Doe has decided to reveal herself? It makes sense now, why mostly Anbu operatives were removed from play. You are quite a talent in deception, for I almost trusted you completely despite suspicion. *Nods* Yes, let us have a go at it."
Amaya would stare at Shoma with a faint smile without so much as a blink before making the first move. Her hands to fast to track were Swift but disguised her motives. In those short seconds it became imperative that Shoma acted as quickly as possible to avoid what he may precieve as an imminent situation. He knew how dangerous his opponent was and so he acted with much haste to defend against her. However, Amaya took this as opportunity to observe, using his caution to a strategic advantage to gain insight to his jutsu and tactics. He'd draw his blade causing a wicked and wild wind stirred around the man as runics crawled upon Amaya. He seemed to be getting lighter as he went on the defesnsive. Amaya would continue to observe making sudden movements as faints to see what he would do and each time he'd commit to another defensive wind jutsu until finally separating himself from her using a gigantic hurricane. Sand and heavy debris would pick up in the vicious whirlwind creating a vary effective barrier. Amaya would have to shade and squint her eyes to avoid further irritation from blowing sand and scraping rocks. Shoma had made his play and it was now Amaya's turn. This was a game of chess in which two minds would attempt to outwit the other. Things could have gotten messy had she got caught up in that whirlwind but with priding herself on staying three moves ahead of her opponent, she'd make good on her battle sense. Like an Opportunist she would wait for an opening if not... she'd create one.
"Hmmm... that's a big storm you've conjured... should I be worried?"
With in the next few seconds battle would begin, yet not in the way the swordsman predicts. Shoma would make haste to defend himself against the sudden actions of the Anbu Operative. Though he makes a great effort to ward from the possible offense, it would seem that some of his movements were in vain. 'A feint. I see, she is not like the others I have faced before. Then this will be a battle of the minds, perhaps with a worthy opponent.', ponders the samurai. The woman then makes a comment, a taunt of sorts. Shoma lifts a brow, wearing an slight impressed expression in response, stating only "Time will tell."
She had given him time to prepare in confidence however, and pride comes before the fall. Surely, the shinobi of Leaf City held much pride, before the arrival of samurai. But, while shinobi were raised in espionage and deception, samurai were raised in battle and honor. And under the teaching of Master Masuda, Shoma's sense of combat is ever evolving. He would not easily be so baited. If she is willing to give it, he would take his time and spend it in preparation.

As Shoma slammed his hand into the ground, Amaya would leap down from the roof heights into a tumble roll for a strategic position on the ground, her element. Seeing the poof of smoke twirl with the hurricane, she began leaping about objects in the direction of the whirlwind in hopes of using its blindspots to advantage but nothing would come of it; however, with her feet on the ground and the whirldwind picking up earth, Amaya's hands would go to work weaving seals. Shoma had summoned something and she did not want to know what. Using the twirling sand Shoma had indirectly surrounded himself with, Amaya would focus her chakra into it for her assualt. It required a load of chakra and skill, a bit more than she wanted to use but it was only fun if she had to try.
Her Sand Missiles made quick work of the summoned creature as it was dispatched as quickly as it had been summoned. The Sand Missiles would pile up into a sphere around her foe even if the winds through off their trajectory. As Amaya's arm would raise so too did the sphere encasing Shoma. A true eye housed in the middle of the hurricane now.
"I don't even want to know what that thing was Samurai but this is it. Sand Coffin! SAAAAND BURIAL!"
Just as Amaya's hand would close, Shoma would break free but not in time. His leg would not escape in time and would feel the crushing pressure. "Hmm... not bad but it's time to put this king in check..."
And through his defenses, comes great waves of sand. His opponent commences her attack with a rather large quantity of earthen mineral, eclipsing the torrential spinning wind crafted by the rapid spinning of his sword. The Kami that he summons to throw off his opponent is dispatched rather quickly. It is made clear what she favors in her tactics. Another thing than is made clear to Shoma is the confidence the woman has in her obtaining victory. With her last crushing attack, the bodyguard's leg takes a great impact.
Although the samurai receives heavy wounds, the possibly of victory remains high in his mind. There simply needed to be a change in his defensive approach. He still knew too little about his female foe to abandon caution in pursuit of reckless aggression. What would he do now? What would she do now?

Who would have thought it, the Samurai had a trick up his sleeve. Just as Amaya would spring more Sand Spears in his storm, he'd sheath his hurricane blade and cause Amaya's control of the sand to falter as she had adjusted her control to the wind's motion. As he would draw another blade Amaya would leap away in order to gain a better position. He had taken advantage of her arrogance and ceased an opportunity when her guard was down. Unable to control the sand properly to cause petrification, she retreated to the shadows. Inside a nearby building is where she kept her back against the walls listening for motion. Where she thought she'd found cover, her eyes would widen in responds to the bright lightning infront of her. She'd throw her arms up to defend against the man's Swift blade but the force knocked her through the building wall and back outside. Tumbling about the debris she attempted to regain footing as she weaved signs to summon a clone. Before she could stand she was met by the man's blade again. It's glow chiseled with lightning running down and up its body. He had been hitting her with the blunt side of his blade and would continue to do so with valor. With his relentless assualts, Amaya became unable to get proper footing to defend herself. She'd stumble after each blow knocking her back and would draw her Spear of Redemption in response. His sword play would target enabling joints and prevent her offensive as he'd wack her arms and hands each time she tried to pick her Weapon up in stance. Finally she would see an opening but with unfocused frustration, the undisciplined thrust would miss it's mark and she would take further wacks. Unable to retaliate, Amaya would bounce backward on her back and Leeper away only to be distracted by the sound of a bell dangling on her clothes. That's when Shoma appeared behind her and wacked her over the head causing her to tumble to the ground. She slowly picked herself up using the wall to lean on. Her face still housing a faint smile, blood ran down her forehead. She'd slowly take a hand and place it on her head wound to observe the blood on her now blood stained hand... that's when she'd smile a real smile. Her emerald green eyes would trace to Shoma before she would stand up right. Her stance was stern and her head was held high once again. She was enjoying this fight, it brought back old memories of a time long forgotten. This is what she lived for, a real challenge. She would trace the tri scar on her cheek with her blood stained fingers and would not address the fact that she had an explosive tag on the back of her head and would cough in responds to the poison in her system. Her smile was devilish, a hug grin that many people would never witness.
"Don't soften up yet.. stay sharp just like that. Here is where the fun starts... now Samurai Shoma! Let us begin!"
The woman manages to continue she onslaught of sand upon the Samurai, attempting to rend him further of his consciousness or life. More blood is drawn by the shredding sand before Shoma could act further. 'This method of hers seems to only get more devastating as time elapses.' Therefore, the swordsman is led to believe that he didn't have much time left to end this fight. Some would say that the best defense is a strong offense. Those who would say this would not be proven wrong if they were to witness this turn of the tide. One might assume that the swordsman had went berserk in his swings toward the woman. Not so. He movement is made with purpose, that being to destabilize the kinoichi. The Fire Native could not afford to allow the warrior maiden to take to the shadows like she had intended and remain there. He chases her, slapping her with the board side of the sword, delivering a void slash in small quantity.
After a moments pause, he finds that the woman is humored. To Shoma, fighting is not fun, it is far from it. To him, it far from it. Battle, to Shoma, is a necessity for a samurai, a responsibly of the strong when decency is threatened with evil. Although he would not be swayed in reckless by her taunt, her word did not fall on deaf ears. He would not give her the luxury that she had given him before in underestimation. "Do you desire the sharp edge of a samurai's blade? Do you understand what you are requesting? He states this between breathes. Does Shoma really understand Amaya's statement, or is this a warning?

The Samurai's spirit is further tested. The seemingly never ending sand barrage pursues the swordsman still, taking more and more of a toll on Shoma as he is pounded and torn into by earthen mineral. He could not last much longer this way. He knows that he could not easily strike the woman in the same manner. Therefore, he shows the woman the edge of his blade, and gleaming with light she becomes blinded. Despite her great advantage, the sword of the Fire Native strikes fear into his opponent, enough so to render her of action. The weight of said fear increases upon her to render her motionless, and in this time he reveals 'possibilities' - images of strikes yet to be. Amongst these images, he unleashes great waves of friction from various directions caused by more furious strokes of the swords. One of these waves of heat bring the woman back to clear though, permitting her to throw sand in another form at the swordsman.
Shoma preparation however, are finally complete. And should he find himself fortunate, he sword would strike true with great force.
Slamming her foot into the ground at a moments blink, spears of harden sand would rain down upon her opponent. He was a skilledful one as he manged to avoid a quick defeat using sword honed skills to deflect what he could. The technique he was using to cut the air was creating a cyclone like movement and throwing off her attacks. However, this was still a game of chess. The Queen of battle only need observe his actions, his swings, and technique. No bit of data had gone to waste and no action wasted. Each move was caculating, steps to the next, leading him down a path of defeat. Amaya would shift her foot as she spun causing the earthen miniarls and sand to cress her body and a thin layer of armor as her mud clone attempted to grab him. As expected the samurai moved from its path effortlessly. Amaya watched as he would then preform a strange movement of his sword and attempt to blind her with it's light. She slowly squinted her eyes to avoid eye injury but in doing so had lost sight of her opponent. A well played move by his opponent. If she didn't know any better, she'd think this man was a member of her Anbu, using such a trick and retreating to the shadows. Her head remained tilted high and her stance unwavering in the slightest as she slowly turned her head from left to right chuckling to herself.
"Ohhhh, you think darkness is your ally... you merly adopted the dark... I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a woman and by then it was nothing more to me but blinding!"
Just then, Amaya would spin hand seals in Shoma's direction but would find herself unable to complete her seals from a forced feeling of uneasy followed by another special sword technique that caused her to become petrified. He was certainly full of surprises.
"Genjutsu, I'm impressed. Theatricality and deception... both powerful agents to those uninitiated, but, I am initiated aren't I? Head of the Anbu Black ops and you... you will have to come better than that."
His sword would come swiftly but the Queen would only but feel the flame of the blade as she leaped in a back flip, harling sand shrukins after each flip and vanishing into the shadows. The chiming of the bells he placed on her would not be enough of a handy cap to track her. She'd find the antics humourous to say the least.
"The Shadows betray you Samarai because they belong to me."

And that was Checkmate... cold, calculating Amaya stood on the ledge of a nearby structure as the Samurai fell. She'd fold her arms just before he hit the ground and would observe the flame Golem and his clones as they poofed away one by one. The smell of char was feint from the Samurai's attacks, embers laid with him, parching the air even more so than the desert vehemence. This game was over. Amaya stood in her pride, her smile ever so faint, taking a deep breath and sighing. She acknowledged that the Samurai stood his ground and did well for himself, a true asset to Iwagakure. Even the Queen of Battle had learned from battle with this man. She took note of his tactics and sword style and even his weapon craft. These things would certainly aid her in future battles to come and with a long road ahead, she'd look forward towards some much needed training. Amaya would nod to him from the shadows, acknowledging the sound of his heartbeat. She'd leap down to him and take a kneel to closely inspect his wounds. They weren't all that severe as they could have been but none the less he would need medical treatment. The ailments to her hands and arms would make transporting him a bit tricky. Unsure as to how he was able to cause such damage with just a sword had her intrigued. She looked at the wlet's forming on her hands and arms. Badges earned from battle and would be worn with honor. Her emerald green eyes would passively count the marks before returning to the man.
"Hmmm..."
No doubt he will seek her out again. He didn't seem the type to throw in a towel so easily. Next time he'd come stronger and harder than before. But still... she'd be waiting until then. Standing and looking in the direction of the Sand village's medical facility, Amaya would shift her foot and cause Sand to clutch the man. With her hand rising, so would he too rise.
"I'm taking you to the hospital now, you can thank me later."
Despite his efforts, Shoma could not withstand the great amount of sand thrown his way. With the last few strikes hitting him, seeing his death is not hard. However, though he finds himself disappointed with such a fate, he disappointment does not lie with his opponent. 'Better a worthy opponent. Indeed, better by the hand of a skilled one.' These are his thoughts before his will gives way.

Amaya stood on top a roof looking down at Shoma. She was a bit confused or rather surprised that he was there. Amaya new the village would eventually catch wind of her treachery and would send hunters but who. In a way it would make sense to send a sword for higher rather than risk the lives of their people. It was a fools earn to come after her and Amaya assumed that they would know this. Amaya would call to her alleged pursuer to get his attention. She wasn't much for games of cat and mouse and thought it appropriate to discourage further pursuits, nip it in the bud.
