Tetsushi paused on the landing of the stairs leading up to the second floor of the Obsidian Palace, allowing Damashi and Soma to clear their respective minds within the boy's body before they continued onward and upward.
"What do you hope to gain from the Kazekage's trust?" Damashi silently asked Soma as Tetsushi approached the only open room within the facility.
"Let's just say he has access to some information that will prove quite useful," the power-hungry cultist replied in thought as the boy knocked a few times on the wall next to the room's threshold. "Now, don't be rude; make yourself known."
A tinge of pain crept up the boy's spine, causing him to wince ever so slightly as he peeked his head within the room.
"H-hello?" Damashi tentatively greeted anyone within the room. "I'd like to request a mentor."
