Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tomo entered the hospital, his dazed expression and hunched posture making him look like the undead. He approached the nearest reception desk and rested his elbows on the counter. The male receptionist gave him an odd look, but Tomo was too out of it to notice. Placing his throbbing forehead in his hands, Tomo spoke. "Something...Kinjutsu?" The Genin's brain was too preoccupied keeping his body standing to actually form a full sentence. The receptionist seemed to catch the gist, and handed Tomo a document. "Please fill this form out." Tomo took the paper and nodded, mumbling his gratitude as he plopped onto a nearby white couch. His body sunk into the furniture as he placed the paper on the end table in front of him. "I never thought a hospital couch could feel so gooooooooood." Tomo let himself relax, a bit of his energy returning to him. He pulled out his small ink brush and ink well. A brief thought crossed his mind as he did so. "Wait...where's my weapon?" Sorry Tomo-boy. You didn't have it on you when our bodies fused, so it got left behind. Tomo grumbled in response, but dropped the topic.

Looking at the form before him, Tomo began to fill it out, reading everything out loud. "Alright...let's see. Name? Mochizuki Tomo. Date of Birth? 08/31/.........crap...what year? I don't even remember...whatever, skip that part. Um...sex...male...though appaaaaarently that wasn't obvious enough for the dimwitted people who made my passport. Ugh. Anyway. Bloodline....bloodline? As in...one of those special ones like Uchiha? So...what, am I just supposed to put none?" Wait Tomo-boy! Shouldn't you include my information too? We dooooo share this body now. "I'm not adding your stupid information Haruki. It's my body, you're just an unwanted house guest." By now, some of the nearby patients had noticed Tomo's unnatural behavior and were keeping their distance. The workers eyed him with concern.

"Argh, we'll skip that question for now too. Let's see...common name of Kinjutsu obtained..." Tomo stared at the page, as if he hoped the answer would pop onto it without his help. Write down the answer Tomo-boy. "Don't you think I would have done that already if I knew what it was?!" Tomo slammed his hands on the end table, though it caused more harm to him than he did to it. With his frustration already at its peak, and his will reaching its breaking point, Tomo's chakra was becoming a bit unstable. His body lightly sparked with electricity as he breathed heavily through his teeth. "Dammit, I just want to sleep and bathe, is that too much to ask?" Tomo's head fell back, resting on the top of the couch backing. His hand met his face and rubbed his eyes for a moment before pushing his bangs up. "Do you think if I just pass out here, they'll cart me away to the loony bin? Then maybe I could get some rest and relaxation. Do loony bin's have baths? I hope they do, I need one, I swear I smell like ash." I will have you know that my ashes had the sweet aroma of potpourri. "They were in a rotting tomb for Raiden only knows how long. I doubt they smelled like anything other than musty carcasses. Ugh, will you just shut up for a moment so I can think?" Tomo stayed sprawled on the couch as his eyes began to droop. "Maybe...I can catch...a few winks....."

Emi trotted her way into the hospital with a smile that no one in a hospital had any right of having. She was here for a friend who had ended up breaking an arm in a game. It was a fun game, and maybe Emi should have gone easy on the girl... Only it wasn't a game exactly, and the girl WAS being pretty rude. At any rate, it was only fair for Emi to check up on her... Inspect the handiwork... Yeah, feeling guilty most certainly justified her behavior.

She sat next to the oddly familiar fellow to wait for her /friend/, taking care not to giggle at what he was saying. He seemed to having a pretty bad enough time as it is. Time moving forward, his speech grew... Unnerving. She scooted to the edge of the couch farthest from her not so respected comrade. He was talking to himself? Perhaps he had head damage, or something of the nature. Emi nervously twiddled her thumbs in her lap. He looked a lot tougher than some non academy girl, and a lot less stable. Her mind played with the thought of him snapping at the drop of a pen, and rampaging about the lobby. SHE was the one closest to him. She gave a heavy swallow to fight off the lump in her throat. "Um..." He was falling asleep. Wasn't that bad for head trauma. Sure he might go nuts, but what if he dies instead. She grumbled at her minds perspective of the situation, and finally turned to the man. "Are you going to be alright?" She asked, hugging herself like her arms could protect her from a superior.

Osuteno was just about finished delivering gift baskets to the elderly patients. He felt sorry because a lot of them didn't have visitors so he took it upon himself to make all of them feel better. It was tough cheeking pinching and hair rustling work but he enjoyed seeing how happy he made all the obaa-sans and ojii-sans. As he returned the cart he borrowed from the nurses he noticed a man mumbling to himself on one of the super cushiony couches. He watched from a distance as he spoke with himself and the girl about his age asked if the man was going to be alright. Osuteno was also concerned for the man. The mind is much harder to heal than the body. It was such a shame. He would make sure to visit this man when he was institutionalized.

He moved closer to get a good look at the man so he would know to assist him later on and to make sure he wasn't a danger to himself and the girl next to him, not not the little purple haired boy would be able to do anything besides attempt to talk him down or at least place himself as a distraction between the man and the girl. As he got a better look at the man Osuteno noticed his very feminine appearance. This was something Osuteno could identify with. But where he was hoping to grow out of it, this man had no such option. A horrible thought occurred to Osuteno. If he didn't grow out of his girlish appearance would he grow mad too. He shook his head to dispel the thought. People didn't go crazy for such silly reasons and this man in front of him was an immediate concern. He stepped in just next to the girl and spoke up, "Sir are you need need of any assistance? I will gladly help if I can or fetch a nurse if you are having trouble."

Kunashi strode into the Aesculapium. He had planned to have an impromptu lunch with Junko-sama, if he wasn't busy with surgeries or whatever it was he was doing that day. He had even brought the food: takoyaki for himself and a red bag of chocolate chip cookies for Junko. Junko seemed to survive solely on the things, a feat which Kunashi was skeptical of. It seemed like too much sugar to him. Regardless, Kunashi walked up to the receptionist. "Good day, sir. Could you page Tsuyoshi Junko for me? Tell him it's Kunashi-kun." With that, Kunashi turned around and looked at the hospital lobby. There was a black and blue-haired man laying on a couch, talking to himself and sparking electricity through his feet. He was already being taken care of by two kids, younger than he was. He turned back to the man at the desk. "You know what? Cancel that page, he's probably much too busy working. I'll entertain myself. Thank you though." Kunashi took a few steps away from the reception desk and watched the scene unfold. He looked down at the bag of food he had brought, and felt his stomach rumble. He opened his bag and pulled out his takoyaki and took a bit. No sense in wasting it. Hell, Junko-sama didn't even know he was showing up today, he could get off scot-free for eating his cookies. He walked over to the chair set across from the couch, and watched the scene from a distance. The kids looked like they had it handled, for now. If he was needed he would help them, but he decided to let them go for it. He had food to eat.

The sound of a young girl's voice jolted Tomo awake. His head swiveled to face the culprit, and his eyes widened. He fixed stare was surprisingly intense considering his fatigued state. His mind was still hazy, causing him to think aloud. "She looks just like aunt Sakara and Kokoro...no... those amber eyes...she appears identical to Sonoko. Did Sis have a kid while I was away?" Though she may not recognized the first two names, Emi would surely recognize Sonoko. The baby blue-haired woman always had a soft spot for kids, and would help train them in her spare time. The sound of another child's voice drew Tomo's attention to a young purple-haired boy who stepped close. Just as with the girl, the kid appeared worried about Tomo and questioned whether he needed a nurse. The duel-haired man blinked a few times, surprised by the actions of these children. He scanned the lobby, and saw that another boy was keeping tabs on the unstable Tomo.

And thus, for the first time in more years than Tomo could count, he genuinely laughed. It was a loud, boisterous cackle that seemed a bit unfitting for Tomo's appearance. He gripped his aching stomach as he his laughter died down minutes later. He couldn't explain it, it was just so comical that out of everyone in the hospital, three kids were the ones to address him. Though, there would be no surprise that Tomo's outburst would probably portray him as clinically insane.

Finally regaining his breath, Tomo addressed the children before him. "Yes, I am fine. Beaten down, violated, and a bit loopy, but fine." Placing his fingertips on his forehead, he lifted his bangs up and out of his face, holding them in place on his hand. "Let the story of Mochizuki Tomo be a lesson to you. Make sure your paperwork correctly documents your gender, and don't disappear from the village for six years...the welcoming party will be the worst experience of your life." He wasn't sure if he should be telling children this, but it seemed necessary. They needed to know the dangers of erroneous documentation. "Oh, and don't accidentally obtain a Kinjutsu, the paperwork will drive you mad." Tomo looked to the form before him, the only thing standing between him and a bath. Seeing the section on how he obtained his new ability, Tomo gave the children a nutty grin. "Do you children want to hear the dangers of letting your obnoxious twin sister call the shots?"

She gave a mental sigh of relief as the boy too a place in between them. The man was obviously off his rocker, and if he was dangerous, it was better him than her... The nature of the sudden thought made her sick. To think he thought she needed help! She was tough too... Even if her pigtails weren't a great sign of it.

Emi tilted her head at the open monologue. The man obviously wasn't in his right mind to be speaking in such a manner, but she did know the names. Sonoko had helped her with balance, and acrobatics since forever, and She may not know them well, but she knew the names Sakura, and Kokoro. She bit her fingernail, as her less than adept mind pieced it together. Aunts... His Aunts... Who were in the Mochizuke... Like she was too... And aunts were family members... Of the same family she was in... And he was related to them... Like she was... "We're related!" She finally blurted out, throwing her hand into the air. In her mind, this was worthy of a novel. If only she could spell the word.

She immediately re-locked onto what he was saying, the words all the more important coming from a possible family member in need, or offering fair advice. Naturally, she could trust her family, right? It was really too bad only half of it got through. She had no idea what the words "obnoxious", "violated", or "kinjutsu" entailed. She huffed mentally. Being a first year academy student in a new place was probably the worst thing that could happen to anyone, right?

Osuteno raised his eyebrow slightly at the pig-tailed girl's realization and her excitement over it. He was not sure what to do when the man started laughing either. The man kept it up for a couple minutes and Osuteno was about to go fetch a nurse when the man started speaking. It was apparent the man had been through quite the ordeal if it wasn't all the ramblings of a mad man.

The man was violated? And why was his documentation wrong about his gender? And no one was allowed to just run off for six years, was he a former missing nin? But that couldn't be it, he was walking free. How did one accidentally obtain a kinjutsu?!?

Of course Osuteno asked the man none of these questions. It was impolite to question the mentally unstable. Instead he stopped a nurse with a cart and came back with a pot of tea and some cups, brought up a chair and sat down with his new acquaintances. Smiling politely he began pouring tea into the cups and handing it to the others with a small bow. "I feel I would regret not hearing about how someone accidentally obtains a forbidden technique, or anything you mentioned for that matter. I am Koji Osuteno by the way. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintances." He gave them both his most polite smile though it wasn't very big. "I can sympathize some for not appearing to be very masculine, but the rest of that was a bit beyond me. Why don't you start from the beginning Senpai, you mentioned your twin sister brought you into trouble?" The purple haired eight year old brought out a note pad and pen and was already making notes. To protect his comrades from within and without was his nindo, and he would help a fellow villager in any way he could. Even if was just listening. These were his thoughts as he took a sip from his own cup.

Kunashi listened absent-mindedly as the man he had deemed crazy talked to him. He was more intrigued by the other boy, who had went off and grabbed tea from a nurse and pulled up a chair of his own. Graciously, he accepted the tea and gave a slight bow to the boy while remaining in his seat, which turned into more of a head nod than anything. He carried on eating his takoyaki and sipping his tea, listening to the man drone on. It wasn't until this Mochizuki Tomo character mentioned his Kinjutsu that Kunashi began paying attention to him. 'Kinjutsu.. Is that why he's here? No wonder he's crazy, I've heard those are pretty dangerous from Junko-sama.' The situation made sense to Kunashi now. This man had come in to register his Kinjutsu, which he had learned was a law in Kumogakure from Junko-sama. He must have then had a brief mental breakdown and fallen asleep. He stopped himself from taking another bite of takoyaki to ask a question to Tomo, but it seemed the polite boy was on the same track as he was.

This Koji Osuteno boy asked the same question Kunashi was going to: How did Tomo procure this technique? In order to be polite, Kunashi swallowed the food in his mouth and turned to Osuteno.
"Akuro Kunashi, nice to meet all of you." His gaze shifted back to Tomo. "I am very interested in this Kinjutsu you mentioned, too. Could you explain it to us?" Though he did not care about the rest of the stuff that Tomo mentioned, obtaining a Kinjutsu was no small feat. He was eager to listen in on what must have happened for Tomo to 'accidentally' obtain one. He raised his takoyaki to his mouth once more and took a bit, sipping on tea periodically between chews. It seemed he had found a way to entertain himself after all.

Somehow, Kitsune found herself standing right behind Kunashi at the same time Kinjutsu was mentioned. She loomed over the kid as she cleared her throat. ”Sounds like you’re in need of a professional. And by that, I mean me.” she said and then looked at the kids gathered around Tomo. ”Seems to me like you’re all interested in the medical field. However only basic details of kinjutsus are released to the general public, the rest remain under lock and key in this branch.” she said ”So. You’ll all have to come with me. Don’t worry, I won’t bite.” she added and smiled.

Then it hit her that she hadn’t even introduced herself. She was used to people just knowing who she was, but given the age of the three kidlings, it was unlikely they knew who the Sennin were yet. And with how confused the fourth one seemed, she figured it couldn’t hurt to introduce herself to them all. ”Ah, right. Introductions. Baroness Shinrya Kitsune, Sennin of the Medical Branch, at your service~.” she said and gave a light nod before directing them towards her office which would have plenty room to discuss all this.

Upon reaching her office, her assistant let them all in and bowed before resuming her post at the desk in the front office. ”Have a seat everyone.” she said in a trilly tone and flopped into her own chair behind her desk ”Now! Tomo-kun. You mentioned a Kinjutsu? Kunashi-kun, you seem highly interested in them. Have you considered a career in the medical branch? Osuteno-kun, you also seem highly interested, have you considered a career with us? And finally, there’s you. The young kidling with the bright hair. Are you also interested in the medical branch? Or is it too early to tell?”

Tomo was caught off guard when the little girl beside him declared their relation, but he quickly recovered. To miss something so momentous as a new relative. I should be ashamed. He was, but he kept the feeling to himself. She seemed rather excited by the prospect, and apologizing now might ruin that. Tomo took the tea from the purple-haired boy with a nod of thanks. A hot beverage might help clear his head, if only a little. The liquid was more satisfying that Tomo thought it would be, and he wondered why he hadn't thought to grab something to drink sooner.

With his soul a bit more refreshed, Tomo looked over the children. His supposed relative seemed rather baffled by Tomo's words, and he couldn't blame her. He still didn't quite understand the predicament he was in himself. The other two, Osuteno and Kunashi, appeared to know what Tomo spoke of, and they looked to be pondering on how one would acquire a Kinjutsu on accident. They urged Tomo to tell his story, and the young man was about to comply when a redhead chimed in. She seemed familiar, but Tomo couldn't quite put his finger on why. She mentioned that the group would need to come with her if they wanted to learn about Kinjutsu, and Tomo rose in response. "Finally, someone who can help me fill out this ridiculous form." Before they began to walk, the woman introduced herself, and Tomo staggered back in shock. "S-Sennin Shinrya?" Tomo turned his head and whispered to himself. "Great, out of all the med-nin I could have attracted, I got THE Sennin..." Returning his attention to Kitsune, Tomo gave a nervous smile and bowed before following her to her office, making sure to put down his tea and grab his form.

Once in the room, Kitsune offered a seat to all, and Tomo sat on the edge of the couch. Once everyone was seated, the Sennin addressed Tomo about his Kinjutsu. As he was about to speak, she quickly asked the children if they were interested in the medical field. Tomo frowned while grumbling under his breath. "When did this change from my Kinjutsu to a recruitment session?" While the children answered Shinrya's question, Tomo pulled out his scroll and unrolled it over the coffee table. Once the children were done speaking, Tomo pulled out his well of ink and brush. "Since we have such a young audience today, I thought it might help to have some visuals with my story." In the blink of an eye, Tomo drew something in the middle. Like a pop-up book, an ink version of the location of his story, the tomb in the Rolling Hills, rose from the scroll. "Listen closely as I tell you a story of awkward romance, mind games, and punching ghosts."

"Six years ago I was sent on a mission with my twin sister, Tama." Two ink versions of the seventeen-year-old Mochizuki twins stood in the mini room closest to Tomo. "We entered a tomb, and my sister ran off to defeat ghosts by punching them." He hoped the kids would understand the idiocy in that choice. The character of Tama ran across the scroll, taking a path to the right. Tomo's followed behind a little after, taking the path on the left. "Three ghosts played mind games in an attempt to possess my body." Whenever Chibi Tomo entered a room, a ghost would appear. In the first one was a long-haired woman. In the second was a small boy. In the third was a man in samurai armor. "The specters failed, and I met again with my sister." The chibi twins met together in the room farthest from Tomo. "But our challenge wasn't over, as twin incestuous ghosts descended from the ceiling, ready to fight to make us their new host bodies." Tell them about how gorgeous I was! Your ink version of me doesn't do my beauty justice! Haruki's interruption was ignored as Tomo explained the dilemma the Mochizuki twins were in. "The exits were blocked, and physical attacks weren't working on the ghosts." The four ink people reenacted the battle as Tomo remembered it, showing how the ghost twins were fighting with their ashes. Whenever Tomo or Tama was hit, the ashes were absorbed into their bodies. Tomo's sister sacrificed herself to protect him, absorbing all of one ghost's ashes. Tomo bit the inside of his lip at the sight, and didn't release it until after his own ink version absorbed Haruki's ashes. He continuing. "Tama and I fell to the twin specters, and we spent six years suspended between the living world, and the spirit world, fighting to keep possession of our bodies." The scene shifted, showing chibi Tomo and Haruki playing a game of Go. Tomo was victorious, and Haruki chimed in. Barely Tomo-boy, barely. "And thus, here I am today, with a voice in my head and a form I have no idea how to fill out." Tomo lifted the form and waved it in the air twice. "I didn't even know I had a Kinjutsu until the gatekeepers told me. So how do they expect me to know what ability I have specifically?"

Tomo looked to Kitsune to see if she understood everything. He also looked to his young acquaintances. He wondered what the children had taken from this. Would they think such an ordeal is worth going through to gain a forbidden power? Would they understand how his disappearance might have hurt those he cared for? Tomo had yet to see his family, to inform them of his return. He eyed his young relative. Did she even care that he'd been gone? It wasn't like they knew each other before then. "Let's hear it kiddos. What did we learn?" They learned that I am so utterly fabulous that I can kick your rump even without a body Tomo-boy. Tomo narrowed his eyes. If any of them said anything to that nature, Tomo's next destination would most likely be prison...or he'd be broiled alive by the Sennin.

Emi looked up at the woman, her eyes lingering on every inch as they explored the enchanting feminine beauty. Maybe one day she could look half as impressive. Still, there was something intimidating about her. She had never heard of the woman, but her elder was reacting with no small amount of distaste, or perhaps even fear. She was lead to believe the woman /did/ in fact bite, and played with the idea that she was going to be locked up for knowing something she shouldn't. A little chill ran down her neck and gradually slithered into the tip of every limb, as she obediently follows. She was far too afraid of of what happens of dissident academy students who know too much.

She took a seat in the woman's office, shaking her head at the question. She fought the tremble in her arms and a lump in her throat, like if she answered wrong Kitsune might actually eat her alive on the spot. "U-um, no. I don't know." She finally managed past her odd anxiety, sighing inwards with relief. She couldn't fathom why the woman was so intimidating, but maybe it was her elder Tomo being thrown into the mix.

The moment the display of tones rose to life, Emi entranced. Enamored. Her jaw was left slightly agape as she quickly became lost in the display. One like her could easily become locked in the breathtaking onyx display. She knew little more than hear-say about the full abilities jutsu, but nothing lead her to imagine you could be locked in a limbo between the after-life and here, or fight off death as the phantom twins had. If that were true, and all you needed was a new body, couldn't she live forever? Powerful, and beautiful for eternity? Emi's cheeks turned a rosey hue, her mind overly romanticizing the idea of an endless life. Naive as ever.

Emi shook her head, a frown stretching across her face as the story came to an end, and she was called back be Tomo's question. She shook her head a few times. She read the situation over and over, but really couldn't think of anything she could re-apply from this lesson. She thought perhaps one should know when to cut their losses and run, but bit back on saying so, wary of humiliating herself as a coward in front of a family member.

Before the woman even introduced herself Osuteno knew who she was. He was already starting to stand and bow when he saw the Med Branch Leader but she just waved for them to follow her. Osu took a seat in the office focusing much more on the idol before him than on his surroundings. When she asked if he was interested in a career in the medical branch he simply blurted out a "Yes Kitsune-sama, well not kinjutsu specifically, I mean it is fancinating, but yes I want to be a MedNin!" Not that Osu was actually loud or anything but the rambling was a lot coming from his usually stoic self. He did want to study it to some degree to try and help his friend Satou with his demon problems, but he mostly wanted to heal people. This woman was the prime example for the sort of ninja he was aiming to be, there was no way he would pass up on this oppurtunity.

He watched/listened to Tomo's story with no little surprise. It certainly was an adventure. An very poorly planned and disastrous one that led to him and his sister to dissapear for 6 years and ending up possessed by... incestuous ghosts. That must be all kinds of weird. What did Osu learn? "Learn some anti-ghost techniques, don't run off on your own without some discussion and planning with your squad members and always make sure someone back in the village has a good idea where/how to look for you in case something happens." That and never let this Tama person call the shots.

He had just finished speaking when he heard a voice from behind him. He started, turning quickly, almost spinning into her figure. He turned to find a beautiful redheaded lady standing just behind him. She was magnificent, and had a commanding demeanor about her. In an instant, she had taken over the situation, and began ushering the group into her office. Just why was she so confident? It all made sense when she introduced herself as Baroness Shinrya Kitsune, Sennin of the Medical Branch. Kunashi recalled that this was the highest position in any of the branches, putting her right under the Raikage. 'A beautiful, powerful lady.. should try not to make her angry..'

Kunashi followed the group into the Sennin's office and sat on her couch next to Tomo-san. He was addressed by name by the Sennin, and she asked him whether or not he was set on the Medical Branch. Sheepishly, he answered. "To be honest, Kitsune-sama, I have not considered a career in the Medical Branch. I've thought about it, but I think I would be better suited elsewhere. It takes a lot of control of chakra to do even the most basic medical jutsu, which is something I'm not excellent at. My sensei, Aiko-sama, and I are working on it, but I'm much more inclined to speed-type things. Junko-sama says I have the blood of the Seikon, something which I am unlocking slowly." Kunashi shrank down in his chair. He had just spoken like that to the Sennin of the Medical Branch. Not that it was disrespectful, just saying 'no' to someone that powerful was extremely intimidating.

As the others finished speaking to the Sennin, it was now Tomo's turn. Kunashi perked up as his story began, as it seemed very entertaining. He was enthralled by the little people Tomo had drawn, and was even more enthralled when they began moving along with his story. When asked what he had learned, Kunashi was at a loss as to what to respond. He tried to gather up any thoughts that would make a coherent sentence and spit them out.
"Uh, I guess that if you ever encounter a ghost, don't let it possess you? And that you probably shouldn't listen to this Tama lady anymore.."

Kitsune listened to the story of why Tomo had been absent for six full years, as well as the kids answer to her question. ”Hm. Osu-kun you’ll need to register with a mentor once you pass your genin exam, then~” she said to the bright kid and smiled. Then she looked at Tomo ”Well. From your story, Tomo-kun, as well as my analysis of your chakra patterns...” she began before removing her contacts and revealing her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan ”It seems as if you’ve become a Chimera. Basically, you exhibit traits from several bloodlines or core abilities. This means you have the peculiar ability to absorb traits and make them your own, something that’d ordinarily require a surgery.”

She leaned back in her chair and grabbed a pen from her right desk and tossed it to Tomo. ”So now you know what to fill onto the form. Also, really? Incestuous twins? Good thing neither of you were taken over by them, then. The two of you have enough trouble as it is.” she said with a light laugh ”The kids are right though Tomo-kun. You shouldn’t listen too much to Tama-chan. You know she makes rash choices and get into all sorts of trouble.”

”Kunashi-kun, you do know that everything can be taught and trained, right?” Kitsune said with a smirk and looked at the kid ”But, it seems you’ve got your heart set on something else~ Should you change your mind, let me know.” she finished before looking over at Emi, the only person in the room whose name Kitsune didn’t know yet. ”And then there’s you… Don’t worry about making your choice just yet~ Enjoy your academy days. You’ll end up looking back at them with fondness, despite how harsh they may seem right now.” Kitsune said with a reassuring smile, showing that she could be gentle as well.

Tomo listened to the children's responses, nodded his head at each one. He could understand the girl's reluctance to give an answer. Giving the wrong one can lead to worse consequences than not giving one at all. Osuteno's was impressive. He looked at it from a very analytical side, and everything he said was spot on. Tomo resisted the desire to defend himself on the last part. People knew where Tama and Tomo had went, it just so happened that their bodies weren't quite there to be found. Even Tomo didn't completely understand what happened, he was merely trusting Haruki's word on it. Kunashi's response was basic, but by far Tomo's favorite. After explaining what had happened to Tomo, Kitsune, too, agreed with Kunashi. The Genin nodded. "Indeed. I dare say that is the greatest moral we can take from this story." He gave the kids a smile, one that seemed like he was joking. However, the sternness in his eyes told them he was dead serious.

Tomo bowed to the medical Sennin as he twirled the pen she'd tossed him. "Much appreciated Lady Shinrya. I shall go about filling it out this instant." Tomo took his seat on the couch again and began to fill out the form. What's your full name Haruki? I don't remember Tomo-boy. Just write 'Haruki the Fabulous'. No.

Name: Mochizuki Tomo

Once he was finished, Tomo addressed Kitsune. "M'lady, if you would be so kind as to direct me to who I need to sign this, I would be most grateful." After hearing her response, Tomo lifted himself from his seat, giving the children a salute. "Stay in school, and don't let Mochizuki Tama lead you away from the path of knowledge and logical thinking." The Genin turned to the Sennin and gave her a deep bow before exiting the office. "Time for a much-needed bath."

Emi couldn't help but lock into the woman's smile with a sort of awe. There was a trickle of envy as well. The way this woman wielded herself was strange, but to Emi, it was simply enchanting. Wasn't she afraid of the woman just a moment ago? She couldn't help but sigh with jealousy, wishing that she could be so many things instead of not managing to be even one. Not brave, or smart, or strong, or beautiful, while this woman seemed to be all three. She mentally noted another goal in her mind. She would just have to sort it out later. Maybe learning from the woman wasn't such a bad idea, though she still wasn't sure if medicine was her calling.

Emi gave a bow to her superiors, and then to her peers. "Th-thank you for your time, and wisdom." She decided was the best way to express her gratitude, and then headed for her way out. "I hope to see you again!"

Osuteno realized as the first two left he probably needed to make an exit too. Kitsune-sama was bound to be busy and he shouldn't waste her precious time. "Thank you for your company Lady Kitsune-Sama, expect to see me again soon as the best MiT who has ever walked through these halls." Before he had taken two steps towards the door he realized what he had said and it took every fiber of his being to stop himself from damaging her wall by repeatedly bashing his skull against it in embarrassment. Why did he get these weird bursts of confidence when he least expected it? It was going to get him into trouble one day. He carefully closed the door behind him, walked down the hall a distance the proceeded to bash his head into a nearby bench before heading on.

After hearing her kind words after his denial, Kunashi smiled. Kitsune-sama was a very enigmatic leader, her beauty matched with tact and respect. Kunashi blushed a little and averted his eyes, trying to make himself inconspicuous. He was very impressed by the sennin, as it were almost as if he were meeting a celebrity. He was, in terms of a ninja world, as a kunoichi of her rank is indeed rare. As he took another sip of his tea which he had neglected since the beginning of this interaction, he watched as Tomo-oniichan and Emi-chan took their leave, with Osu-kun following closely behind. He looked at Kitsune-sama and smiled sheepishly. He cleared his throat and spoke up. "Thank you for your time Kitsune-sama. I appreciate what you said earlier, and I would like to talk with you at some point about your experiences. I enjoy that kind of thing. Perhaps over some tea?" Kunashi smiled and awaited her response. He rather enjoyed tea, and liked conversations over it. Regardless of her response, he would bow respectfully and make his way out of the hospital, waving to Kitsune's assistant as he passed. It had been a rather interesting day.

”Oh that’s an easy one Tomo-kun. You just leave that with me. I’m perfectly capable of handling the rest of this.” Kitsune said and grinned before turning to the kids in the room ”You’re welcome dear. Any time you feel like you have questions or just want to talk, feel free to drop by.” she said to Emi. Then it was Osu’s turn ”Heh. I like your enthusiasm Osu-kun. But don’t make promises you can’t keep~ I’ll be expecting great things from you.” she said with a wink, before finally turning her attention to Kunashi ”Well, feel free to drop by. I can’t guarantee that I’ll always be available, but I’ll do my best to make time.” she said and smirked.
