Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The room was dark, not pitch black but there was little lighting in the hospital room. The lights had been turned off, the curtains were shut, even the the working T.V had been off to make the room as dark as possible. Most nurses or doctors would not want to go into room 613 unless it was absolutely necessary, the room remained shut to prevent curious people from looking inside at the young shinobi who had shown what he really was at the student tournament.

Maru sat in the middle of the hospital bed, impatiently waiting for when he had the chance to leave. He was fine! But he was sent to the hospital anyway, and he didn't have his Kawaii neither which had been a huge problem for him. He thought to himself where he could've gone wrong, was it due to the lack of mastery of his techniques? Could it been that he was too frail so he wasn't able to take a hit? Or could it had been that his hatred for the boy simply wasn't strong enough? Either way a loss is a lose, the boy survived against him this time but next time he'll leave with a lot more than a few scratches on his armor.

Maru had still had been wondering what it was that Mikasa had to say to him. Perhaps he was a little sloppy in the fight so it made her look bad, I mean being a half demon a human shouldn't be able to stand a chance against him. Possibly that's the reason why she had been upset with him. Or it could've been how he gotten a little carried away in the with the whole thing about killing students but it was a fight. Naturally that's what people would want in a fight is for someone to be either dead or badly hurt. Maru had a hard time understanding why Mikasa had been so upset, so he tried calling her in already.

Repeatedly, he mashed a red button on the remote again and again hoping that someone would get annoyed enough to see what he wanted.“This aught to get me some service.” Maru said, while button mashing.

Pressing forward through the Konohagakure Medical Facility, the medical chief tightens the ivory coat upon her shoulders - not a single soul daring to address Mikasa. Under normal circumstances she was approachable, able to strike conversations with nearly anyone, yet due to her overnight rounds and attending the initial round of the tournament she desperately needed rest. Hardly to anyone's surprise, Dokuso Maru's room light illuminates as if attempting to communicate via mores code, her azure gaze settles against the door which no one dares to enter for a multitude of reasons.

Turning the knob, Mikasa enters to come face to face with the academy student. In one swift motion she brandishes the scroll containing his beloved puppet companion, hurling the scroll through the air, not concerning herself if he were to successfully clutch the object or not. "Care to explain why you felt the need to cause that sort of commotion in front of the entirety of the village?" she inquires in a not so pleasant tone, the usual dove tone nonexistent and crows feet upon her features visible. "It would appear your abilities have manifested, though you lack control over your own emotions." the kunoichi iterates, crossing the room to lessen the distance between the pair. Extending her digits outwards, Mikasa flicks the forehead of Dokuso Maru, although not with enough force to cause anything other than an annoyance.

Examining the lad for any potential extremities, the medical chief soon regains her composure. "Your puppet, who does it serve? Do you serve it or does it serve you?" she inquires, purposely utilizing the terminology of 'it' to view how the young man would react. Was there a trigger to the odd demonic aura he exhibited in the initial round of the tournament or simply due to his lack of controlling his own potential?

After moments of button mashing, the door had opened. Finally, someone would finally came! But that someone was Mikasa, and boy did she looked pissed. Maru was about to address what got her so worked up, but then she brandished a scroll. A scroll that Kawaii was sealed in! When the scroll was tossed into the air, Maru threw himself forward to catch the scroll, all in the while falling off the bed hard near Mikasa’s feet. He snapped up to his feet, hearing the angry tone in the medical kunoichi’s voice kind of killed the good mood he had from getting one of his favorite dolls back. “The commotion– as you call it– was how real ninjas are supposed to act. ” Maru said, scoffing at his mentor for scolding him about something he considered to be so little. “We are all being trained to live up to the hardships of being a ninja, I'm merely showing that I can do any mission without regard to who gets hurt or die for the sake of the village…” Maru stated, turning his back on Mikasa while he wrapped up his statement.

“Afterall we will be killing not so innocent children, traitor's who happen to have families they need to support, and even entire nations should we go to war… Think of me as simply showing that I'm ready to do these task without an issue. “ Maru explained himself well enough, but now it was time to see how his favorite imaginary friend had been doing. Maru opened the scroll, realising his beloved doll Kawaii from the scroll and when she came out she said her same line that Maru didn't mind hearing. "WELL HELLO THERE… HEHEHE.. ARE YOU READY FOR PLAYTIME!! “ she said in her shrill adorable voice made Maru smirk. He kinda liked how his doll stayed in high spirits all the time, it was kind of a comfort to know that Kawaii will always stay in high spirits; regardless of how dark Maru usually was. Never getting mad, nor objecting to his commands. A real partner in crime. Kawaii was like a therapeutic tool Maru, all his dolls he cherished.

Maru examined his Kawaii, dress was torn a bit and her hair needed brushing but besides that; she was okay. His good mood would later turn sour from how Mikasa called his beloved doll an “it.” That was a term used for an animal or a object. This thought got Maru angry with the Medical Kunoichi, his dark red demonic aura surrounded both him and the doll. Looking back at Mikasa with a deranged but serious look. ”She is a maiden of 9 years old, she was sent here from a rich family to be a close friend of mine because her parents felt sorry for poor little me. She also is known to have little fits or rage so call her an it again and... Maru stopped in mid sentence… He was talking to someone who aided him in a time where he had to pickpocket to get money. Perhaps his puppets had been the ones who's pulling the strings.

Maru quickly calm and turned around to offer a not so good apology for his actions to his mentor.”Regrettably, some of the words I've used may had hurt you in a way. So I offer my full regret if you may had misinterpreted my actions. “ A good enough apology without actually saying that he was apologizing. Perhaps Maru was actually regretting how he acted…. Or it could've been he didn't want his privileges with Mikasa being affected by his actions. Will she buy it?...

With the first round of fights in the student tournament coming to a close, Yukio had taken some interest in the outcome of some of those combats. One in particular being that of Doku's fight, the boy was unique to say the least though his actions and reactions during that fight had been questionable at best, though if such things could be refined they could be put to purpose they could be a great use in the future. This would all require a careful hand in the young students training however and Yukio was not one to forcefully change an individual's personality without good reason, if everyone was the same the world would be boring at least that's how he thought about it.

Knocking on the door before opening it the Hyuuga was faced with a scene that caused him to raise an eyebrow. Considering some of the puppets he'd seen beyond the safety of the village this didn't seem so bad all things considered, though the fact he could even think that way seemed somewhat concerning in Yukio's mind how much could he get used to before it became somewhat unnatural. The a sigh and a shrug he nodded to all present in greeting as he went to speak.

"I was wondering what had become of you after that round, safe to say this is about what i expected though i can't deny it was a somewhat interesting to watch. Though if you would excuse my presence here i am simply somewhat interesting into what caused that turn of events to come to fruition"

He spoke in a calm and cold voice, a tone that had become the normal in recent months. If he could be phased by something he wasn't quite sure what that would be though it wasn't really something he wanted to find out at this point in time, the only thing he'd learned as of late was the importance of honesty and he hoped Doku would show that courtesy as the his eyes stared down at the young student.

"I can't say i've seen a student quite like you before, and i can't say you remind me of myself when i was younger in fact i've never seen a student quite like you."

Tilting his head to the side looking over to Mikasa and nodding once more he bowed his head in a show of direct greeting and respect. Standing in the arena his eyes gave him a rather interesting view into the rep booth and seeing they had been standing there he could only assume they held some rank of importance within the leaf village.

"I do however apologise i have failed to introduce myself, i go by Hyuuga Yukio though you may not know of me i am currently one of the residents of the Uchiha household as per Takeshi's request to save me from having to live in the ANBU branch."

Crimson hues envelope the academy student, encasing him entirely and only adding fuel to the words the doll speaks. What had struck the medical chief as odd was the backstory given to the creation, an item she would have to interrogate the teen on another day; far too exhausted to even conceive the notion. Dokuso Maru would even take the opportunity to apologize for his words, but the moment the puppet was in his procession she felt his words were hallow, compared to the one she took into the hospital when they had first met. Pausing momentarily, she collects her thoughts, "We will have to work on controlling your manifestation, however you wouldn't be the first to have outbursts due to awakenings." she admits with a sigh.

"Until you have a stronger grasp on your manifestations, we will delay our next research together." Mikasa concludes, eyeing the door opening and expecting a medical-nin to potential enter and not an unknown. The kunoichi's initial thoughts revolve around the conclusion this was a companion of Maru's; however that notion was swiftly put to rest in a matter of moments. An ANBU arrived on the scene, mentioning being placed under the care of Uchiha Tekeshi peaked her interest; although if this were prior to her meeting with Haku Yuki, the young man would have been evacuated from the grounds immediately. The medical chief was doing her utmost to connect the branches together and by allowing him access, despite the situation not calling for his attention, Mikasa lessens the distance.

"Pleasure, Yukio-kun, I am Tsukasa Mikasa - Head of the Medical Branch." she eyes the lad curiously once more, unsure if Takeshi wished to have another opinion on Maru due to the tournament offerings. "Foremost, you shouldn't barge in despite what curiosities you may have. Consider this your one free opportunity, so that the ANBU and Medical Branch can better understand this relatively new manifestation." she pauses, to smile gently, "Everyone gets one unannounced learning opportunity." though her ocean blue gaze foretells another story - unamusement, regarding the entire situation.

Maru took not being able to continue on the next research as a sort of punishment for something Mikasa pushed. He said that he regretted what he did. Maru didn't think that his attitude will affect the next research in anyway, after all he did had the same kind of hatred as he did when they first met… Then Maru thought that this was probably because of his obsessions with his puppets, this made him scoff. ”I don't think that controlling my ‘Manifestations’ isn't a issue. Don't piss me off and you won't be treated any differently, at least Kawaii doesn't irritated me!” he snapped at Mikasa for having taken away his research privileges away like a spoiled child.

Then the door opened…. Maru was surprises that someone else besides Mikasa had came to visit him. Surely he didn't have other people he had been close to, but then a man came into Maru's room. This man came in in the middle of a disagreement between a dissatisfied mentor and a defiant student. The man apparently came to see what became of him after the round, Kawaii with her happy go lucky smile seemed to stare at the mysterious man blankly. The man's voice seemed to carry a bit of darkness, he seemed to have been watching him closely in the fight. But Maru had no idea who this person was. ”Who the hell are you and why are you here to visit me.”

Of course the man revealed himself to be Hyuuga Yukio, a member of the Anbu. Maru gave a glance to his doll, the doll mimicked his movement by looking back at Maru. They seemed to be talking without words among themselves, Mikasa still a bit bitter told him that Maru needed to have a better grasp of his powers. But Maru didn't trust the man as it is, so he nodded to Kawaii and turned his head to Yukio. ”So why are you really here Hyuga? Are you here because you're going to be like a vulture and wait for me to mess up? Or are you here to eliminate the issue before it becomes a bigger problem?” Clearly Maru thought of the Anbu as like machines. When they are given a job, no matter how dirty, they'd do it without an issue. Perhaps it was the many negative things he read on the Anbu that lead him to believe that they probably wouldn't be on his side, after all they killed people who showed dissatisfaction with the village. Maru's chakra switched into fight mode, not knowing if the man was a enemy or came as an ally.

Yukio thought for a moment, he had been somewhat prepared for this kind of reaction to his presence no one really enjoyed it when a member of the ANBU branch turned up especially in a situation like this one. There was little Yukio could do about that the fact of the matter was the ANBU would always be viewed this way no matter what they did, After all they weren't exactly known for being the kindest of people and he could understand that lifting a hand to scratch the back of his head. For all he had expected this reaction it still wasn't the best way to be greeted to the scene and that would be something he would clear up.

"Yes I am aware I should not simply arrive unannounced and for that I do apologise, Though this was most likely the only time I would be able to make it here without being side tracked by the other students."

Placing his hands in his pockets he took a moment to focus on Maru in that moment, it seemed it wasn't a fluke what he had seen in the arena or the lesson he had run into the student. A sense of contempt towards most of the more experienced, if not all the growing Shinobi, and it was something he'd become accustom too just not from anyone this young. Though this did not bother him too much if anything stood out about the Hyuuga it was his rather calm nature towards all of this, not so much uncaring but rather the sighs of someone who has seen enough to take new things as they come.

"However you seem to be mistaken as to my purpose here, I may be that of the ANBU branch however I have no desire to eliminate anyone considering I train many of the students in the academy is it not natural I would be concerned as to what I observed from the stands. As much as it may not seem it when dealing with my branch I have a heart, and I have the capacity to care. If anything I came to inform you that you are more than welcome to join lessons of mine when requested, after all your days in the academy are the first step towards becoming Shinobi of the leaf and at the end of the day I take it upon myself to do the best I can to help you walk down the path you think is right"

His words were sincere and it was not something Yukio showed often but if he'd learned anything it was that in circumstances like this honesty was going to be the best way to move forward. Overall the Hyuuga had never truly cared what branch people desired to go to after all ever Shinobi that left the academy was one who had the potential to do great things for the leaf village.

"So you see that is why I come here, not out of some shady mission to ensure you don't do that again but rather to get to know you before moving forward though I do understand the distrust, especially considering I don't believe either of you have even seen my face around the village before."

Dokuso Maru had made slight modifications concerning his attitude, yet asking an academy student to transform over the course of a year was certainly unreasonable; however his words towards her would not settle. A faint sigh escapes her lips as the maiden gingerly streams her digits through her platinum mane, attempting to ease her state of mind, wishing nothing more to rest from her extensive workload. Regarding the Hyuuga, her oceanic gaze settles on the ANBU, who didn't seem to quite comprehend her attentions.

Truth to be told, she was displeased that anyone other than a medical shinobi or kunoichi would enter the room prior to visiting hours - nothing more and nothing less. Shockingly the medical chief nods her head gently, agreeing with the statement for Mikasa did essentially the same; although Maru didn't have a significant amount of time remaining in the academy. Lingering for a moment, the medical-nin prods her index finger against her chin, noting that Takeshi houses interesting individuals and moments as these made her goal of uniting the branches a bit more possible. Never the least the possibility of Hyuuga Yukio severing as Takeshi's eyes not out of the question, nor an actual general interest in the well being of the younger generation. "Quite the speech." she murmurs in a pleasant tone, allowing for a thin grin to appear upon features.

Dokuso Maru needed to interact with a multitude of others and having additional pathways open ideal, regardless of which he walks, "Come, sit Yukio-kun." she motions towards a swivel chair. "Maru-kun, allow me to examine your puppet, Kawaii, I wish verify the accumulated damage." Mikasa attempts to attach her own chakra threads to the creation, Maru has no reason to truly distrust the one who showed him puppets initially. "Please, Yukio-kun, tell us more of the lessons you teach." a momentary pause, "I also teach at the academy, but find myself unable to sit on other courses and this will also beneficial for myself."

Maru seemingly calmed himself a bit. Yukio didn't seem to be under any shady mission to watch or kill him. Maru's crimson aura seemed to slowly die down, however the boy was a bit confused about how the man had been acting. Totally out of character from what he believed the Anbu to be, but then again he only knew what he had read about and what he witnessed when he disrespected one of the Anbu captains in her own lesson. Regardless he didn't think from what people say about their branch that these soldiers could even have a kind bone in their body. The sincerity in Yukio’s voice made Maru believe that he made have misjudged him, but maybe the other people of his branch wouldn't be as kind…

Maru decided to listen to what the man had to say, the man clearly had a bit of darkness within him but he wasn't a machine. He actually offered to tutor Maru in one of his lessons, the young shinobi chuckled to himself at the thought that someone would come here to offer to teach him. As bad as a student he was in this lessons that he's been in, he is surprised by the fact that the man would even consider teaching him. Maru sat on his hospital bed, letting Mikasa talk for a bit. But then she asked to examine his doll, his eyes narrowed at his mentor with a look of suspicion. Sure enough it was Mikasa who introduce puppetry to Maru, but by the way she carelessly flung the scroll into the air; he didn't know whether she'd take proper care of his beloved doll. ”You better be kind to her.” Maru said as if the doll was a person. Releasing his chakra threads to allow Mikasa to connect her threads, the doll speaking her same line when chakra threads were attached to her giving Mikasa access to her voice box.

”So what do you plan on teaching me Hyuga, I'm sure if it involves me gaining power I want in… but.. Maru paused, glancing at the man with his now golden colored eyes. ”What benefit will you get if I accept? Are you here to improve my skills or is this a way to “fix” me up so I don't hurt any leaf villagers?” Maru was still not convinced that the man would come here and expected nothing in return. Nothing in this world would be free, there had to be an object in mind that the man had. Being the only well known half demon around, the man might seek to tame Maru so he wouldn't lean to much on his demonic parentage. And as a dark shinobi, leaning too much on his demonic side would mean having to abandoned what made him human.

Maru placed his hand on the side of his head to feel if his horns were still there– but after the tournament they seemed to have grown a centimeter or two...

Yukio nodded his head in thanks, spinning the swivel chair so he could lean his head and hands on the back rest and taking a moment to stretch he sighed for a moment. It seemed all this days of being requested to remain awake were taking their tole but that was something he was willing to live with for the time being, at least until his progress had begun to show its colours. However the quick reprieve this situation offered him was more than he could ever ask for.

Tilting his head up to look at the two of them as they spoke to him he sat back up looking between the two for a short moment before going to speak. Honestly his way of teaching was more about the individual than the universal class or at least that is what it had been so far.

"Well the way I teach has less to do with the group and offers more one on one attention to the student as an individual, I taught you opponent once as a matter of fact because he was showing progress in his combat abilities I decided to expand his general knowledge on the most common bloodlines in the village. The same would be for you when I teach I go over your strengths and your weaknesses. In all honest the best way to teach someone how to improve the skills they have regardless of their origins, some view some of their abilitys as dark powers however evil is in the eye of the beholder and how you use them."

His philosophies were rather straight forward but easy to understand, considering the abilities of his teachers it was hard to believe there existed powers that could not be used for the benefit of others to some extent. But what it all came down to was a students willingness to see it that way or at least believe what they were doing was the right thing.

"Basically ill show you how to improve whatever abilities you may have and keep you moving forward to discover new ones based on a personal training session. As well as identify anything you might have trouble with during missions or fights in the future."

It wasn't really his thing to make speeches but Doku wasn't exactly having a hard time at picking up on all the information that was being provided for him and with Mikasa's understanding at his presence here. Though it seemed there would be some tension throughout his visit here but that was understandable and until relations between the branches improved it would most likely remain that way until something changed

Mikasa allows herself to explore the inner mechanisms of the intricate puppet, her chakra threads giving her access to a wide array of weaponry and odd tidbits. Instinctively she lifts her index finger and in turn causes the one labeled as Kawaii to waltz about without a care in the world. Truth to be told, it wouldn't be reasonable to have the impression of an academy student creating a weapon unable to be utilized by a veteran shinobi or kunoichi. "Being able to feed chakra into the device to enable sound waves is quite advanced for someone your age!" she calls from the creation, continuing to have it twirl about in place as if providing a private show for the trio.

Admittedly she found no such trace of demonic energy coursing through the puppet and leaving the only logical explanation that Dokuso Maru now possessed an altered variation of his normal chakra; whether or not he is aware his own actions was still left up for debate. Perhaps it would be for the best to for the academy student to explore additional opportunities to better understand his current disposition, Hyuuga Yukio similar in regard to finding far greater success with teaching the younger generations in a one-on-one environment. "You mentored Minamoto Suyashi as well? Interesting." Kawaii begins to tab her chin in unison with Mikasa, nearly forgetting her current connection. Gliding the creation through the air, the kunoichi allows the shinobi tool to land gently in the lap of the creator, "I also find it far more beneficial to have tutoring session as opposed to classes." she admits, disconnecting the chakra threads and allowing her frame to rest against the swivel stool she found herself resting upon.

Gesturing towards Maru, the medical chief begins to speak, "It may prove to be beneficial for you to humor yourself and see what Yukio-kun is willing to offer." she begins, fixating her oceanic gaze against the ANBU, unsure of what to make of him at the moment; however she decides to place her trust temporarily with him, until proven otherwise. "It will also be beneficial to see what sort of training effects with another can produce, allowing me a greater insight to your current predicament." she concludes, referring to multiple experiments leading to swifter salutations.

"As it is right now, your chakra seems to have two different distinctive patterns, emotional in a sense." she pauses for a mere moment, "Potentially varying due to altercations or a simple state of mind change."

Maru rubbed his chin, it seemed that the boy may had been convinced that the man wasn't there t do him harm so he relaxed on the hard questions for the man to hear what he'd had to say. It would be nice to have his abilities improved, knowing his strengths and weakness would be the first step in knowing how to truly become perfect. But the man had been incredibly long winded, Maru only getting what he found most important from the speeches the Hyuuga had made. Looking over to see what Mikasa had been up to with his doll.

She managed to gain access to the voice and weapons without really a problem, Mikasa speaking through Kawaii in that adorable shrill voice programmed into her. “Being able to feed your chakra to enable sound waves is quite advanced at your age!” Kawaii said with her voice, but it was still similar to Mikasa’s way of speaking. The young shinobi chuckled, quite pleasant to hear Kawaii speak like a grown up despite her childish appearance.“Yeah, got bored and had a lot of time on my hands so I guess you can say I can figure things out.” he said, scratching his head. Mikasa might had been looking for that trigger that made the puppet into that nightmarish horror she saw in the tournament. But of course triggering the cursed mode on the doll was something only Maru could do, his dark chakra will trigger certain mechanisms that would make the Doll seem like she had a life of her own.. But the strangest thing is that when Mikasa said the name of the boy, Minamoto Suyashi, the voice glitch. Coming out as “You mentored M-M-Minamoto Suyashi as well? Interest- interesting.” Mikasa seemingly forgot that she even had the doll in her possession, so with his arms held out Maru caught his creation and held Kawaii on his lap.

Maru seemingly knew that he had two kinds of chakra from both his demonic parentage and his normal chakra. But Maru believed that it was because of his dislike towards other people that triggered his evil chakra. Maru couldn't really pinpoint anything else besides that. Looking over at his mentor, then back at the man. The young shinobi nodded his head. ”Alright I'm interested in your tutoring, you've convinced me Hyuuga. So when does the tutoring start?” Maru asked, pretty much eager to start training. But then Maru took a glance at Mikasa. “And what do ya mean my state of mind being a cause for my different chakra? You calling me Looney or what?” Maru said, after all people did call him a psychopath so he wondered if this was an examination of his mental health rather than physical health.

For a moment the Hyuuga seems content with watching the activities going on in the room in that moment in time, though he had little to know idea what the student was capable of. It didn't quite help that puppets were not his forte but that was something he could quite easily get passed with experience and research, even watching the student spar with one of his clones would give him some insight into Doku's current abilities though thinking about puppets make him think back to one of his earlier missions in the ANBU branch.

He became distracted in that moment recalling when he'd left the village on what should have a simple retrieval mission the image of that puppet being burned into his mind as he reached a hand to the shoulder the thing had grabbed, a chill running down his spine at the memory as he shuddered. This fleeting thought didn't last long however hearing his name snapping him back to the matter at hand continuing to listen to the conversation.

"Hmm? oh yes I have tutored Suyashi quite the eager one I must say though his training and yours would be two very different things"

Leaning back onto the chair he pondered for a moment on what would be the best way to progress from this point, more than likely working on the basics to gain a full grasp on Maru's abilities however there would be no rush. All things considered he would have to recover and see what could be done for him here first then they could move on to his tutoring.

"I will notify you when I am ready for you to come to me for these tutoring sessions, we will begin from the basics to build a foundation and work from there. At least that's the simplest way to put it."

Mikasa's next statement made him tilt his head however, it had been a long time since Yukio's more curious nature had surfaced though he would be lying if he said new and interesting circumstances didn't interest him.

"Two different patterns of Chakra? an interesting thing really though if you wish for any assistance in these matters my eyes may be able to give some insight. at least to describe what it looks like."

He gestured to both of them offering his assistance one of the main perks he found of being a member of the Hyuuga clan was the unique insight the Byakugan gave to the world around him, safe to say it gave him a rather unique perspective on things.

A mere nodding of the head would suffice, Mikasa childishly scoots about the floor in her rolling swivel chair to settle beside Hyuuga Yukio. Not one to pass the opportunity she merely motions towards the academy student, "If you don't mind, it will provide an interesting insight I normally am unable to do." Taking another momentary pause, the medical chief reaches into her ivory jacket, producing a clipboard and pen - never knowing when jotting down notes would come in handy. "No, Maru-kun, no one is giving you a diagnosis on your mental state." she corrects the young man.

The indisputable fact was that Mikasa was a higher grade puppeteer than Dokuso Maru, at least until he continued to develop and being unable to access all the features of the creation meant that there an extension to Maru she did not possess. "I am going to view along with you, Yukio-kun." she informs the ivory hair male, her ungloved hand rests gently upon his nearest shoulder awaiting for him to activate the Hyuuga clan's fabled Byukugan. Gently her digits begin to dig into the cloth settling upon his shoulder, doing her utmost to cause no harm.

Mikasa would merely activate her latent abilities, Mystical Replication, and upon the veins surfacing on the features of the shinobi would the process begin to generate on her own. Naturally, the process would not occur as beautifully or with ease of an expert, but at the end of the day, assuming Yukio were to humor the kunoichi, Mikasa would have a momentary Byuukugan of her own to analyze Dokuso Maru. If Hyuuga Yukio were to not, than it would certainly be an awkward moment between the two, her digits gripping tightly on his shoulder for no apparent reason. Parting her lips, the maiden would speak once again, "Yes, please do describe what you can view."

Seeing that the man gotten really quiet for a moment, the boy clapped his hands loud enough to snap the man out of his daydream. ”Aye, earth to Hyuuga!” That seemed to grab the mans attention, he went on to explain that he did tutor the boy he sought to kill at the tournament. However, his training would be way different than Maru's soon to be dead rival because he was dealing with a person with a rare kind of justu and style of fighting. Although Maru had wanted to be tutored immediately so he'd gain enough power to do as he wanted with it, Yukio didn't seemed to want to rush things as quickly as the young shinobi may had wanted. Perhaps it was concerning his health. “Well clearly I'm just fine, I mean I'm able to use chakra threads to control my Kawaii.” Maru said gesturing his head toward his mentor.“Not to mention my mentor over here healed me up. Longer I stay in here resting up, those smiley-guy-one-sweater-wannabe-hokage-goodie-three-socks ninja's out there are training up while I'm cooped up in a hospital muttering vengeance. “ as Maru finished his statement, Kawaii quickly let loose a small giggle through her speakers. Seemingly finding Maru's long string of insults for the other ninja's in the leaf rather hilarious, the young shinobi gazed down at Kawaii, his chakra threads just so happened to have connected with her. ‘Guess I did it without noticing it.’ Maru thought to himself.

As Mikasa and Yukio talked, they seemed to be interested in finding out Maru's different chakra patterns. Being a Hyuuga, the man offered to use his Byuukugan to see the boy's chakra patterns. Maru's attitude seemingly calmed in knowing that he wasn't being examined for his mental state. Could be that he had nothing else negative to say that he could accused the two of trying to do. Of course, Maru had an idea of what they might had wanted to see. It was possibly the first time someone used demonic chakra with their own puppet, it was honestly the first time Maru even tried using his cursed chakra to make his puppet stronger.

“Alright so you want to see the cursed mode on Kawaii up close correct?” He smirked, the cawing of ravens outside the window could be heard, the shadows seemingly growing darker in the this room… Maru closed his eyes, and then when they reopened they were fiery red like staring into the pits of hell. Kawaii stiffened as she began to become engulfed in a sinister blood red aura. The doll began to convulse, Maru was careful not to let the sharp ends of her arms poke him as she thrashed violently in his lap. Her eyes began to roll into the back of her head and that sweet smile she had began to stretch into a toothy smile way too big for her face showing her endoskeleton row of sharp metallic teeth. Once her fiendish transformation stopped she stopped moving, her blank eyes staring up at the ceiling with a wide smile on her face. Maru made the doll turn its head toward his mentor and the Hyuuga to offer them a big creepy smile.

Q.600.708671.jpg

”I'm gonna kill you Hehehe!... “ The Doll said in a the same cute voice voice, but after that it said. ”Just kidding!” it winked at the two Maru's smile spreading across his face, slightly twitching. If he was trying to creep both his mentor and Yukio he was sure as hell giving it a good shot. Will they even be able to examine him like this? Maru looking up at the two, although he looked like he was going to jump out at them and attack. The boy was actually allowing them to examine him.

"So what do y'all see?" Maru asked, impatiently.

Feeling her hand on his shoulder Yukio simply nodded as he granted her the power of his Hakumei Byakugan, her vision would be crystal clear, its range greatly increasing and strangely enough didn't even require activation to begin working Yukio simply remaining immobile as he focused his eyes on the student. He raised an eyebrow at what he saw next, a sense of blood lust and the red chakra being something striking to say the least, he had seen many different types of chakra in his life his eyes granting him many things whether he wanted to or not but this would be a new one to add to the list.

"That is some rather dark chakra you have there young Maru, considering I've seen some very interesting people in my time outside the village this one is certainly something new. Seems your chakra changes as you do the awakening of your power giving you a rather bloodthirsty personality."

He tiled his head over to Mikasa with her having his vision it would be obvious it wasn't something he needed to do but he still does it out of common courtesy to be polite to those around him. A rather perplexed look in his face as to what to make of the situation.

"Considering the reaction of you companion and you i can only assume this happens of its own accord regardless of what you might want."

Stroking his chin he tilted his head a moment to think, it would be an interesting process trying to train the young man in one on one sessions so in this case the first question to ask would be the one that would make it the most interesting.

"Tell me if you use this power during our tutor sessions will you be able to keep your cool? Because as you grow i will be training you using my clones to spar with."

There were no words to explain the awe the medical chief found herself in, taking notice of the faint outlines of the other medical shinobi and kunoichi wandering about the medical facilities; each with a distinctive pattern unique to them and them alone. Truth to be told, Mikasa expected the visuals to merely come down to faint auras and not the sensitive inner mechanisms of the chakra coil system, "You are wasting your talent on ANBU, you could make for an excellent medical-nin." she jests, tightening the grip upon his shoulders unintentionally. "Truly amazing." she murmurs in awe, before settling on her oceanic gaze against Dokuso Maru.

Each detail was crystal clear, down to the chakra flowing through the threads to the creation to that of the academy students himself. In time, crimson leaks from the core to spread through the many channels to solidify as the main color. "It appears that you trigger your reaction through your puppet, although I wouldn't say this uncommon and can be controlled through developing yourself further." she admits, releasing her grasp on the Hyuuga, her vision returning to normal, although she could get used to possessing eyes such as his for medical purposes. "Thank you kindly, Yukio-kun, I didn't wish to abuse the opportunity and take your kindness too far. Although, I may inquire for you in the future for similar cases." Mikasa gestures towards Maru, returning to her swiveling stool to jot down the notes of his current condition.

"I don't believe it happens against his will, more so something he makes into a reality through the awakening of the creation." she pauses momentarily to ponder, "I wonder if you could cause the same phenomenon to occur with a different object." taking an additional pause, "Not that one can replace your Kawaii." the medical chief adds hastily before streaming a hand through her platinum locks. It would appear that Mikasa would not be able to truly do much more with Dokuso Maru for the time being, as the academy was quite limiting until he was ready to reach his decision to join a branch; only then would she be able to continue to aid him - regardless of the path he chooses to take.

Silently she awaits for the academy student to respond to the guests inquiry, before finalizing her initial notes.

The boy seemly waited as the two examined him, Maru's eyes darted from Yukio to Mikasa. The young shinobi seemingly kept his cool despite his bloodthirstiness he felt upon using this power, the doll seemingly twitched here and there but the two remained cool. Maru's crimson aura seemingly went down only for a moment so he could think straight, it'll be easier to speak in a more civil manner with his hateful aura not being too strong. ”Interesting, honestly in the tournament it's the first time I tried using Evil Chakra with my puppet. By using my Demonic Chakra with this puppet all her attacks become Evil Taijustu so to speak.” Maru explained, his kawaii puppet chomping down on the air. A simple trick that made all his attacks with his Puppet evil was a newest method in using a puppet in combat. ”And while she is cursed, she can't be unarmed or dropped like any normal weapon. I’ll say if someone was looking to disarm me, they’ll be wasting their time because she’ll act as another limb of mine." the young shinobi explained, deciding to share with them his little secret seem as though there are possibility more half demon out there that has the same ability as him, it'll be helpful to educate them in the matter.

However would he really be able to keep his cool if he'd used this power with the man to go against his clones? Maru shrugged, answering in a semi normal tone. ”Honestly it depends on how I feel at the time, not giving you any guarantees but I could try.” The young shinobi said, Kawaii giving a quick giggle to let the two know she's in the room. But then his gaze would be focused on Mikasa, it was interesting that she could use the byakugan without having been born into that blood line like it was nothing. Maru began rubbing his chin, Kawaii mocked Maru's movements seemingly having an idea although he wasn't quite sure if she'd be able to do it or not. ”Well I did try to use the same power with other objects, but I can only find out how to use this ability with only one object at a time, so I decided to choose Kawaii because she's a favorite of mine….” Maru paused, giving Mikasa a slight smile.

”But Mika…remember when you told me that ‘Half of the fun is experiencing the side effect yourself, as you understand it far greater than observing it?’ If you have the ability to use what other people are born with. Why not try out my ability for yourself?" Maru said in a voice as soft as silk, his Kawaii began to go limp and maru detached his chakra threads from her to gesture his hand for Mikasa to come over. If Mikasa wasn't able to use Maru's ability he'd probably would look pretty silly for even asking her to do such a things but of course she could use other abilities that Maru had to get the feeling of what it was like for him being a half demon and the power you get when your Chakra becomes cursed. It seemed a lot easier if she would just know how it feels to have this kind of chakra within her, even if Maru didn't fully master his abilities yet...

Of course if Mikasa didn't caught onto the sneaky teens trick, he was trying to goat Mikasa into doing research with him by trying to get her to use his abilities demonic abilities. Perhaps if the medical kunoichi knew first hand what it was to be half demon, then maybe she'd get a different understanding of Maru.

A sigh of relief escaped the Hyuuga's lips as the process of allowing Mikasa to use his power went across smoothly the less questions that were asked about his Hakumei the easier it would be to keep them around for the foreseeable future. Though he did chuckle at her comment, she wasn't wrong the eyes of his clan had many uses and could be used for great good in all areas of the village that much was obvious due to the nature of his eyes tilting his head to look at her he smiled.

"I do appreciate the sentiment, though my calling as of now is to protect the village so no harm comes to those who live here. In a way I want to take some of the work off the rest of your hands, don't have to worry about wounded if we can prevent it in the first place."

That was how the branch had always been in his mind, yes the way the went around getting to that point would not always be the most applauded of actions but at the end of the day what they did would ensure the village remained safe at least for the foreseeable future. Feeling her hand tense on his shoulder diverted his attention for only a moment causing his head to twitch to the side slightly as the burn scar on his shoulder being pressed slightly but he doesn't speak of it going back to listening to Maru.

"Interesting, very interesting to say the least well at the end of the day I can only try and help you develop your powers. As bloodthirsty as you may get I will make a rather large effort to direct those sensations in the right direction or at least make sure they don't get you in trouble. As will I make the effort to bring you no harm should you attempt to strike me."

He nodded his head content with the answer he had given, there was always going to be some who had uncontrollable urges it was just a matter of keeping as many people safe as he could rather than finding students lying around gravely wounded after a class or sparring match. The risk of this would be minimal during tutoring however considering he would be the only person there for Maru to strike out at he was confident he could be stopped without injury to either of them if enough thought was put into dealing with the matter.

Feeling Mikasa release her grip upon his shoulder he would divert his attention once more turning back to her as she too spoke to him, the offer to work alongside her in the future was something he couldn't really say no too the reason he wished to be a Shinobi in the first place was to do all he could to assist the village in whatever way he could.

"Well it would be a pleasure to keep working alongside you, if you ever require my assistance on any matters or just wish for a second opinion feel free to ask."

With these subjects covered it would simply be a matter of if Mikasa was willing to use her power to copy Maru's abilities to something that put the Hyuuga on edge slightly considering it was an unknown factor.

Details begin to come to light, Dokuso Maru revealing tidbits of information regarding the supposed cursed weapon; in truth the teen was able to select which weapon he wished to perform the bond with. Regarding Yukio's statement, she finds it endearing, yet there would always be causalities despite the amount of effort these place forward. "Noble, I hope that the branches come together in that regard sooner than later." MIkasa pauses for a mere moment, "We are making progress in that sense, every day gets a bit better." she explains prior to listening to the words of her student.

Truth to be told, Mikasa didn't have the heart to tell the young man that during their previous iterations that the poisons had no effect; although that would no longer hold true. "You are correct, to be able to understand from both side of the coins is ideal." she admits with a faint sigh, wishing she didn't teach the lad that particular method of learning. The medical chief was well aware of the antics of the teen, giving into her desires to research was a rather large flaw and thus she lessens the distances to grasp the hand of Dokuso Maru. Initially there wasn't a visible effect, though after a few moments the ANBU would be able to witness her chakra coils producing a crimson hue, overtaking the natural teal that circulates through her body, and the grin upon her features widen as the grip of her hand strengthens.

The sensation was not foreign, she had felt this sensation in an earlier part of her life. Flare guns fire off within her mind, replays of an earlier time stream to replay an image of an obsidian behemoth towering above a raven hair male. Instantly the right of Mikasa awakens, an amethyst Sharinigan combats the crimson chakra and reunites her system with the natural teal she possesses; her hand leaves Dokuso Maru's, "We will require a bit more research." she smiles gently, turning about as her single eye instantly returns to the natural oceanic azure.

Releasing an audible sigh, the kunoichi returns to her swivel stool to jot down one final note, "I am exhausted, from recent events and the tournament. The next rounds are sure to start soon and I believe a nap is in order so don't frighten anyone with these crows feet." she chuckles gentle, gesturing towards her features. "I am sure you far more than capable of handling him, Yukio-kun." she glances towards the academy student in a sheepish manner.
