Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been some time since he had been active. Quiet some time, but exactly how much, he didn't know. The white haired man wasn't conscious at the current moment though, having disappeared in the middle of a fight at some point. As he started opening his eyes and noticing he was in darkness though not complete silence. Slowly moving his hands, he could only move one. Not wasting any time, Naikishin would slowly stand up, noticing his left arm was in quite an amount of pain, along with his right leg. Regardless of the pain he would start to move in the darkness, attempting to find something. "I need to find her before I actually get to doing anything..." He'd mumble to himself, as he could hear a couple people here and there as he stumbled throughout the dark room, feeling the walls with one of his hands and some of the floor with his feet.

After going over the entire room three times over by now and still not having found what he was looking for, he was actually starting to get annoyed at this point. Yes, losing his weapon had been what annoyed him and not waking up after an amount of time in a dark room. People were weird. Since he couldn't find a door and he wanted out of the darkness, he'd move to the wall where he heard noises the clearest and would punch a hole through the wall after a couple attempts. He noticed how long it took him to do so and knew that he should have just needed one attempt to do that normally.

As the wall crumbled down, a couple people gathered before he had walked through. Light was dim so it wasn't too hard on his eye. He had forgotten that he had lost an eye. He was covered in wounds and long dried blood. Many people had fled the moment they saw him and the rest just moved to be out of sight. "Where... where is she..." He'd mumble to himself. Ko was the only person... er... thing, at this point, that he'd really be able to listen to coherently as he didn't know exactly how much time passed. He stood next to the hole in the wall, hunched slightly over with his injured arm just by his side, and his left eye being shut with a dried blood train down his cheek. His breathing was slow and heavy as he hadn't eaten in some time, somehow surviving without doing so or having a drink of water. or a drink of anything at that.

The Red Lights was something else. They had set out to see what it was all about. Research was done beforehand, of course. How did people act while in this district? What did they wear? Who associated with who? Anything to blend in. And they had managed to pilfer some clothes to do so. A funny pink tank top that said the words “Guro Bitch” (whatever that meant) and tight fitting jeans.[lb2][/lb2]

It seemed to have worked fine as they were invited to a night of revelry. People told them it was dark and shady but it was hardly that at all! There were bright lights everywhere, blinking and flashing! And people were having a good time! People were so nice, calling them pretty and calling them fun. They gave Akako so many interesting, nice drinks that made them feel giddy too. Akako didn’t see what was so wrong about this district. What was so wrong with people smiling and partaking in consumption and in company?[lb2][/lb2]

But, as one of the men was inviting them over to his place for more fun, there were several slams and a wall crumbling to dust.[lb2][/lb2]

“What the fuck are you doing? That’s my house, you bastard,” one of the men roared at the white haired boy on the other side of the wall.[lb2][/lb2]

Akako could only giggle as they tried to stand on their own two feet, waving around some strange bottle in one hand. “Having fun, obviously!” they said, like it was the most common sensical thing in the world. They destroyed things sometimes too. It felt good to do so. “Relax, it’s just a wall. Hey, hey! Do you want help destroying that wall? Oh, but I guess you want to do that on your own!”[lb2][/lb2]

The man obviously wasn’t too pleased at the threat of even more distraction and grabbed Akako by the hair with a scream at the rest of the other men. “Don’t just stand there and stare!”[lb2][/lb2]

Naikishin heard someone shout towards him, glaring at him with his one eye before tilting his head and seeing someone near the man barely keeping themselves upright for the moment. The white haired... person held a bottle in their hand, and along with them attempting to stay upright, he could only assume it was some sort of alcohol. He would hear them reply to the man that had roared at him a mere moment prior stating that he was having fun. "Oh, just loads." He'd reply to the white haired person.

The person would speak again, asking if he wanted any help, but then guessing that he wanted to do it on his own. "Have at it if you want..." He'd start to say until he noticed that the man would grab the person by the hair and even shout at others to do something.

Even with his body somewhat broken and battered, he would smile as a couple men would run towards him. Instinctively moving to grab his weapon, his smirk would fade in irritation that he didn't have Ko to fight with, even if this could be called a fight with how he was. He would clench his right hand into a fist as one of a couple men rand towards him, and hitting the man as he got close enough to hit him, with his hand glowing orange slightly and the sound of... a pretty wimpy crow filled the area as the man was sent back several yards from the impact of the punch, clipping a second man. "Would any of you happen to have seen some... thing that belonged to be by any chance? A sword, one that wouldn't seem to have been from here, I mean." He'd speak up to the white haired person and the man holding them by their hair. It took everything in him not to say 'someone' as he had gotten used to when talking about Ko.

Akako cackled, hearing how open the other white haired nin was to letting them have some fun. They even whooped and cheered as the men went down with their assault.[lb2][/lb2]

But an annoyed screech left their lips as the man only pulled at their hair harder. “Watch it! You might rip my head off!” they barked in warning, though it was hardly taken seriously. Another tug at their hair and the clone has had enough.[lb2][/lb2]

In the blink of an eye, they smashed the bottle of alcohol against the man’s face, glass and blood going everywhere. But they didn’t stop there, jamming the shattered bottle again and again into the man’s face until it was nothing but an indistinguishable, bloody pulp. “I warned you not to pull!” they hissed, after one last hit, digging the edges into the poor sap’s face and twisting it into the fat of his cheek… or, rather, of what remained.[lb2][/lb2]

With a huff, they jumped and wobbled back on their feet, turning to Naikishin. They flicked their hair back, like they saw those girls do, though it hardly gave with the blood that was matted on to it. “Now that we can’t be interrupted… I haven’t seen a sword, no! But I can help you look, if you want?” they nodded. Granted, they didn’t know what a sword actually looked like. The recordings of Akane and Akihiko spoke plenty of weapons, considering how the Shoukyou revered them. Weapons was the main lifestyle of the clan. But it’s not like they had pictures to say ‘hey, this is a sword and not a knife!’ They knew what knives and scalpels and scissors and needles were, at least, thanks to Doctor Mizushima Nanami.[lb2][/lb2]

Naikishin watched the two men who had been the first two to go after him to slowly stand up and run away after the other couple of men had done so. The man would hear as the person who had their hair grabbed telling the man to watch it as the man would tug a second time after their warning. What happened next was almost too quick for him to keep up with at the moment. The person had smashed the bottle against the mans face and didn't stop with just that, they continued going with stabbing the broken edges into the mans face over and over again.

After a quick moment, they would jump back onto their feet before turning to him and apparently trying to flick their hair back. It wasn't very successful considering how much blood was in it. The person would speak up stating that they haven't seen a sword but could help him if he wanted. "I wouldn't be against you helping me. What's your name?" He'd ask before looking around and limping in the direction of the person and the faceless corpse. His bloodied and broken appendages didn't much bother him at the current moment but he didn't know if they were recently so or if they had been as such for so long that they had set how the were.

"Have fun with that, huh?" He'd ask, looking at the corpse then at the person who had nonchalantly killed him for pulling on their hair even after their warning.
