Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Harupia wasn’t sure just how long he was in this… place…This sickening plain, with little to no plant life or anything…facing of this opponent who seemed to be able to blindside him each time, though he managed to defend himself well as he could…it felt as if a day passed him as he was battling this foe… And yet, it couldn’t have been that…for if it were true it would mean he was already dead.

He remembered hat happened before well. After he turned in the task of disarming the largest bomb in the Sietch, he rested for a short while, allowing the gathered medics to try and mend his wounds. For the most part they succeeded, though some of them were unusably hard to heal up, some kind of weird infection used by the twisted Sunaku’s dark arts. Still, they managed to bring him up to speed. And just like that he was of again, into the city. Shaking at the taste of soldier pills…he hated those ashy things, but they kept a Shinobi on his feet. And while he despised such unnatural means of replenishing stamina…he needed all of the strength he could muster.

There was still much to be done after all. While they were cracking down on the Cabal hot spots, there were still some left to deal with. It was starting to get easier to find them as well. As one of the reports said, some of the more cowardly thugs tended to converge around the buildings rigged to explode to shorten their suffering. As he went out of the Bakery, he could see three men arguing in front of a building. Approaching carefully form the side alleys, he heard arguments of weather to trying to run was better than facing swift death from the explosion…that was all he needed to hear. The surprised thugs were soon met with a kick knockout, his fist clad in the gauntlets molded out of Iron Sand impacting them swiftly. Inside the building, there were several more thugs. Most of them went down quick, some downed by projectile made of sand, some managing to get close enough to get smacked by his fists. Then came a brief cooldown, though form an unexpected source. It seemed the head of the guys guarding this bomb was a prisoner of the Palace, a water user. A quick shield of sand made itself in front of Haru, shieling him from the water bullets. It seemed the assault would not stop, until he used his mastery of Earth jutsu to create another barrier, sending a chunk of it twords the attacker. The surprise strike was soon followed by a sand missile smacking itself straight in the prisoners face.

He remember the frustration he felt as he disarmed the bomb at how the Shinobi of the village returned on it so quickly. Then again, what to expect form a common criminal. As he herd the men move, he poised himself, but he only saw his defeated form crying, moaning about how he saw his son at the gates…when the Maw collapsed…that his son died in the rubble, and he would soon join him…

As Haru disassembled the smaller bomb, and rushed out of the building, he remember the turmoil in his mind. He knew of the explosion of the Maw, and that tit happened some time ago…and deep in the back of his head, he knew that by now, chances of finding anyone out there surviving were minuscule…But if he did not at least try and find someone under it, he wouldn’t forgive himself. As he came there, the state of the Maw was just as he suspected…the entire elevator they used shattered…so much rubble. He moved slowly and carefully, trying to hear, trying to sense at least a feint scent of life anywhere…And eventually, he felt that rush. A feint signature…weak, but still there. Reaching out to the sends, he made the particles of it around him tingle and shake, trying to feel out just how the souring area looked under all that rubble…and then he found it. Using his abilities, he moved the rubble aside, somewhat violently from the start, but as he came closer to what he felt , more careful not to hurt the one under the rubble. And eventually, he did find it. A young men, 19, maybe 20. He seemed so pale, so still…but he breathed. Faintly, ever so faintly…but it was still there.

The Sunaku did not waste much time. Picking up the boy he dashed towards the Medical Centre, which was as busy as it possibly could be at a time like this. Some patients were already moved to the bunker in the Sietch, other were being taken care of until evacuation was completely necessary. Still, the man and women tending to the Sununa did not even ask once as he carried the boy in, taking care of him that very instant. His conscious at least a little bit more clean, Harupia sat down… And then he felt it…something was amiss. A strange chakra he felt…one which was quite familiar. He walked around, looking somewhat bemused, trying to seek it…but something seemed to just guide him where he needed to go, to a back door, leading to the basements of the center.

These were quite expansive, seeing how they were also a buffer between the Medical Area and the Keystone. And while the building was built into the side of the rock wall, it still needed some support. Especially under the massive statue commemorating their fight with the Djinn. Another memory…so long it has been, yet he still remember the madness.. But now he was feeling even more mad…there was something in the undergrounds, right under the base of the statue…and he had seen something familiar before. A massive chakra bomb.

Before he could anything he heard a voice saying “Ahh, the moth has come to the flame hadn’t he?”. Trying to see in the dark, Harupia turned around while the voice spoke “The Shinobi of Suna has finally started to retaliate…we give you dogs a slightly lighter leash and you spread out like a wild pack…but don’t think he Cabal doesn’t see what you’re doing…we see very well”. And as he tuned again, he saw a lone figure, his eyes a mix of crimson and black…staring right into his own.

Ever since then, he was locked in struggle with the shadowy figure. He kept attacking, with flames and blade, always just from the corner of his eye, just out of his reach…in a plain with no cover…Was this his end? Locke din s struggle with some unknown Cabal lackey? It was a day…but it seemed like he had just seen the tears in the Water users eyes…he felt the weight of the boy’s body…this wasn’t right…He needed to wake up!

While the Cancel Jutsu itself wasn’t strong enough, the trick of biting his own lip harshly, as his mother taught him, did manage to wake his mind slightly. Just enough to grasp the hand of his opponent, which was just inches from his heart. There was a moment so stillness, Harupia still trying to come to terms with not being in a Genjutsu, the attacker not getting he snapped out of it. In the end both reacted just as quick, Harupia backhanding the other person, while he lunged with his blade, not stabbing through Harupia, but the movement he made causing a large gash over his chest. The Sunaku panted as he stared before him, while the figure on the other side cackled. The Sunaku already felt weak, the damage the Genjutsu caused in his mind burning just as much on his flesh. He looked into the eyes of the guardian of the bomb, which were menacing red in the dark, and now Harupia realized what he was dealing with…The infamous Sharingan. And a very powerful one at that. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness she saw the twisted visage of the one in front of him, his long brown hair, and the smirk on his face as he said “You snapped out of the Tsukiyomi…quite a feat…But I’ve softened you up enough…now it’s time to finish the job.

The Uchiha jumped far back, sending a large ball of flames right at Harupia. The Sunaku rolled to the side, feeling the heat emanating from the attack, while sending a barrage of his own sand missiles at the opponent. To his surprise, it seemed that the projectiles simply vanished into thin air. With a smirk, his opponent sent another ball of flames at him, with such accuracy that dodging it proved almost impossible, the side of his cheek searing slightly from the flames. He rolled on the ground to put out the flame son his clothing, and he saw the Uchiha charge in with his blade. He managed to block with his gauntlet, and pushed the Uchiha back, attacking him with two punches. But before he could attack more, his sand shields rose around him, only to be met with sand attack as well, one of the missiles managing to pas through and hitting him hard on the shoulder. Hissing in pain, he listened to the Uchiha a she cackled "You fool, you have no chance of defeating me…my eyes allow me to bend the very fabric of reality!”

Before Harupia could try to move, he felt a sharp pain in his leg, as if it was being crushed by some unseen force…and as it turned out, his leg became an unseen force, a wired spiral trapping it inside. Before he could think, the Uchiha fighter came at him, his blade ready to strike. Luckily, he had ample time to set up a shield of sand, blocking the attack, and a second alter converting the sand into a large, solid clump, striking the Uchiha right in his stomach. As that happened his leg was freed, though the pains till linger. At least it wasn’t damaged more seriously…he could feel the heat rising around them as the Uchiha said “A nice more…but what use it? You will either burn in my flames or succumb to my eyes…even if you attacked me from every side, you have no chance of success!” while firing another barrage of fire projectiles, enhanced by the men’s jutsu.

Harupia dodged them, shielding himself from some, willing to test the men’s claim. Resting for a single second, flashing through a quick set of seals, he saw the Uchiha prepare another volley, but then be quickly shaken out of balance. The ground under his feet seemed to whittle away quickly. A makeshift desert forming under him. Harupia was careful not to change to much of the ground, he didn’t want to do any harm to the hospital above them. The Uchicha tried to regain his footing, quickly dodging a few sand projectiles which came from the sand around him. As he turned towards his opponent, he saw that he created a Veil of Sand. The Uchiha only smirked, seeing an outline of his hiding in the sand, preparing more attacks. Using the power of his bloodline he fired a burst of Black flames, the Amaterasu, right into the Veil, after which he moved closer to it, willing to meet his opponent head on as he burned in the dark flames. But to His surprise, it was not the real Harupia…a sand clone was in his steed, firing a projectile shaped like a spike just before it crumbled due to the flames. With how close he came, the Uchiha had little choice but to use his Kamui technique, the spike vanishing just before his eyes…and then the sand under his feet seemed to shift.

Form under the ground, Harupia emerged, hiding himself with the Inner Earth Reflection Lure, an orb of energy ready in his hand. Before the Uchiha could react, it slammed into his stomach, the burst of energy enough to blind both the Shinobi. Using a Perfect Rasengan was quite risky from such a distance. The pure Chakra exploded, Sending Harupia tumbling back from the blast, with him hitting the ground quite hard. Still, his opponent was hit harder, facing the brunt of the attack. And slamming into the far wall of the underground area. Slowly Harupis raised himself, shuffling slowly towards what seemed to be his fallen opponent. To his surprise, his body seemed to just vanish, warping out of existence. Fortunately, his sand were a bit more vigilant then him. Rising behind him, they blocked the attack of the sword the brown haired opponent wielded, though not completely, the tip of the blade pricing through Haru’s skin, with the e sand stopping it from going deep enough to cause more serious injury.. Before he could try with another attack, Harupai sand Gauntlet quickly lunched itself into the men’s jaw, knocking him back down.. Seeing the down opponent, using his sand to tie him down, Harupia panted, feeling he ache of his muscles the drip of his blood…this man caused him so much pain, and planned to cause even more to his village. And yet, as he raised the men’s own blade against him…his stomach felt ill.

The whole commotion did not go unnoticed by the hospital staff, but it seemed all of the basement doors were sealed away, with no one being able to budge them over. At least, not until Harupia opened them from the other side. He was not in the best shape, his body filthy and bloody, the wounds on his chest and back bleeding, his cloths even more tattered. Also, the fact he was dragging a lifeless corpse behind him did not quite help. He explained quickly about the bomb, and the fight with the Uchiha. He told how he managed to make the bomb inert, though he advised the other medics to make sure, and also noted how the eyes were intact in the Uchiha. And finally, as the doctors dragged him to tend to his wounds. He asked about the boy. He was quite pleased to hear he was doing well, just being a bit weak. Still, at least it was one life that he could count as saved. Hopefully he could have a word with the boy…once he wasn’t making the ground dirty with his blood for the umpteenth time.

The last bit is intended to leave a way for Haru and the rescued person to have a covnersation, assuming it was intended for the person burried in the rubble to have something to share.

Besides the fact that Haru should be anemic from his ultimate blood losses, hopefully the light-headed weakness can be countered by the fact that this man had a theory. A theory that the Cabal was not the head of the snake that threatened to squeeze the life out of Sunagakure, that the job was not only an inside job but a job that was commissioned by the highest authority in Wind Country, the Diamyo. His rants appear to be that of a madman as the broken man is carried off, his life but not his dignity intact. He wanted to die quickly, not suffer a slow suffocating death far from the explosion. DAM YOU HARUPIA! DAAAAAMMM YOOOOU!
