Izanami was put in charge of a very important mission. One that would spell doom if not taken lightly. A mission that can shake the very foundation of the fates. Her mission? Dog sitting. But unfortunately for her, apparently this is no mere normal dog sitting. The client of the mission had claimed that many people who would try to watch the dog while the owner was away often would call their owner back in only five minutes after the owner left.
The Genin would sigh to herself as she mentally prepared herself to deal with an especially rowdy dog. Once she made it to the place of residence, the owner gave her a full lists of do's and do not's in order to make sure that the dog stays happy and doesn't cause too much trouble. Upon looking at the dog, her heart sank. Standing on all fours, the dog was already as tall as her. Just what do they feed this thing!
As the owner left, the dog looked at her. It was almost as if there was an unspoken conversation between the two as they stared at each other.
Dog: I'm going to run out now and you can't stop me.
Izanami: Please don't
Dog: Too late!
With that, the dog would take off running, squeezing himself through a small doggy door at the back the house. The Genin would scowl to herself as she would run after the dog. Thanks to her training, she was able to keep up with the dog, but with it being so massive, she thought it best to just follow it and rescue it in case if it runs into trouble. The dog in question seems to be smart as it avoided the heavy traffic area, even avoiding the sketchy places in the Village. Izanami noted that the dog must have done this several times with the other dog sitters.
Eventually, the dog would start to run out of energy and would make its way back to its home as Izanami follows it. The owner would make it back home an hour after Izanami and the dog get back and was quite surprised to see that the dog fast asleep and that Izanami didn't have to call them about the dog being bad.
