It wasn't normal that was for sure as Oyochi's body entered the Proving grounds moving at a paced jog as not to completely tire himself out prematurely. His teeth clamped down on a azure colored pill which allowed his body systems to restore his energy to a decent level while his eyes stayed focused on the target at hand. He was warned beforehand about the possibility of engaging with the the leader of the pack and advised not to should he see or hear it's presence. However that small fact was forgotten by Oyochi and he blindly tracked down the creature regardless but was relatively shocked when he did. The canine was not normal in any way, the dog could have easily been mistaken for a wolf that could almost have been his height standing on all four of its paws. It made Oyochi cringe almost at the thought of the beast but his memory jarred back to a medical class he had attended which was overseen by a kirigakure shinbi with a canine of similar size... Could they be related?
He shook this thought out of his mind as the large predator would stalk across the grounds and encircle Oyochi, without Oyochi batting an eye at its movements. While he was filled with fear, Oyochi had not stupidly walked into a situation without something prepared or in mind to deal with the situation he was in. His plan was all about timing and Oyochi's palms would smack together creating quickly a trio of handseals, however with the dog being that of ninken training it would recognize Oyochi's actions and quickly close the gap between them. Falling back Oyochi's eyesight met with the canines for a split second before it would bring it's fangs bearing down towards his neckline only to eat a mouth full of dirt and soil. The dogs eyesight had blurred, causing it to miscue it's bite and give Oyochi enough of an opening to focus his chakra on the earth next to his body. A sizable piece of rock would dislodge from the ground right beside his head and with enough velocity slam into the skull of the canine with enough force that it toppled over unconscious.
Breathing heavy and slightly mortified, Oyochi laid there for a minute before calling in his overseer to finishthe rest of the job in taking the canine off grounds.
