Character's Physical Description: Akihiro stands at a towering six feet and seven inches tall. His height and muscular build make him an imposing figure. He keeps his head clean shaven like his father and is often in a simple kimono and traditional sandals. This style is clearly out of respect for his father. As a matter of fact, those who know his father Tadao, immediately see the resemblance in Akihiro. One clear difference between the two is that Akihiro lacks his father's many tattoos.

Character's Mental Description: Never too high, nor too low, Akihiro has a calming presence that is infectious. Even in the most tense situations, his soothing tone, empathetic face, and non-threatening aura puts others at ease. He has a strong sense of duty both to his family and his role as a shinobi. Akihiro would not think twice about sacrificing himself for what he perceived as the greater good.

Character History: Akihiro is the first son of Tadao of the Senju clan. He and his twin brother Ryuu were born and raised in Leaf city until recent events forced them to flee with their father. His father Tadao, a former Leaf ANBU Sennin, managed to get Akihiro to the relative safety of Iwagakure but quickly left him there alone. While it was not clear why to him why his father did not also seek refuge in Iwagakure, Akihiro remained without protest or so much as a question. Ryuu on the other hand, went off on his own once they left the Fire Country, and Akihiro has not seen or heard from him since. His family issues aside, Akihiro has done his best to serve his adopted village with both honor and respect. In Akihiro's mind, to do any less would dishonor himself and more importantly, his father. In his heart, he longs for his father's return, but in the meantime, he works diligently to insure that his father will be proud of the man he has become.

With the medical foundation he received in Leaf, Akihiro joined the medical branch has continued to build up his skills. Medical jutsus always came easy to him and he impressed his superiors with his natural ability. He takes real pride in healing and protecting other shinobi and that genuine enthusiasm has made him friends rather quickly.
