Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Oh sweet merciful god." Scalding hot days, frostbite inducing nights, who in their right mind would live in such a confusing climate of a place. It was a miracle that she was able to survive, she barely packed to prepare for this journey, not completely sure of the precautions to take. amateur mistake, unbecoming of her.

She stood in front of the large building... in the middle of nowhere. Clearly this was somewhere important, right? This was either the entrance to the village or the stronghold of some evil bandit group. With a hideout this extravagant she would definitely have a hard time dealing with them, but she needed to find shelter in case a sandstorm were to pass by. Maybe she should sneak in?

"Hello?" She began to venture closer, "Anyone around? I'd rather not sleep in the desert again!"|[/col3]

The desert was awash with frightful peril. The wicked blackened skies and the harsh, unrelenting winds that threatened to bite and tear away at many a traveler's subtle flesh. The winds may be hard and the skies may be hot, leathery flesh and sun-blind eyes always seem to find respite in these halls. It seemed that the Dojo was no longer a place of disquiet, recalled in the minds of some with infamy as they most recently housed the anarchists that led this village to catastrophe profiting from the inherent trust the Sennin placed in his fellow man. It was a pity of sorts, such tragic events should scar a community and that they had. Their dead was not even buried yet, but there is something to be said for the indomitable spirit of humanity. The doors here were never bolted and chained, strangers seem to have found Sunagakure in droves since these terrible happenstances and despite all that has went wrong, we were still letting interlopers enter without question or worry.

Shiori had no longer tried to find sleep in this place. She seemed to almost find pleasure in seeing new faces cross the threshold and abandon the wrath of the storm. She also enjoyed talking to the screaming gale that battered the walls of this grand hall. It made no sense, it never did these days. It was quite disconcerting, the terrible fear and pain it expressed. The regret and the constant burden to persist echoed with each howl. She did not relish its pain, but she failed to understand it. The desert does not lament, nor does it know wrath and pain as such in a way that it knows how to express. But this willful maelstrom was something different, something she felt a kinship with despite it not being supported by her whim.

"Hello?"

A voice called, the feminine tones reverberated off the walls back down to her.

"Anyone around? I'd rather not sleep in the desert again!"

Shiori was sitting in a chair, doing nothing in particular. Dressed like she was ready for a day in the office rather than a day of sitting by the gates, probably because she was not an ANBU. Hell, she was barely a shinobi, but her name was known well-enough perhaps to give her some associated clout she never earned. "Don't sleep out there... there is a storm," the woman commented. "The Sennin's home is open to travelers, considering you are standing in it. But, the Kazekage has also been known to open its doors... I am sure we also have hotels if you can afford them in the Diamond District," she added with a shrug as she gestured her to get in and away from the door. The in-climate weather seemed to be worsening these past few hours and she did not know why but it worried her.

She was somewhat surprised by the sudden appearance. The lady was just sitting, nonchalant and Shigeko took no notice of her. Her senses are definitely dulling with the lack of action these past few years. However, the lady wasn't dangerous, and Shigeko was quite glad that she had indeed found the entrance to the Sand village. "Thank you, however I wouldn't want to impose on them." She began to walk pass the lady who granted Shigeko interest. She says she doesn't wish to impose, however she doesn't exactly carry a lot of money on her person. She may have to.|[/col3]
