Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Yaboi has always been one to take action quickly, being able to think a few moves ahead of time really giving him the edge when it comes to quick decisions. It was no surprise that a Nara like Yaboi is able to think so far ahead so quickly that his actions seem almost immediate. Standing in front of his training dummy in his backyard he looked at his target, tossing a stone up into the air. Once it came back down and touched the earth below it signaled the start, the boy stepped forward almost instantly and stuck a kunai into the belly of the dummy.

Quickdraw
Drawing a weapon quickly the moment a fight breaks out is an integral part of getting a leg up on your opponent. For Yaboi, this thought was no different. Constantly practicing drawing his kunai and feigning an attack with it against the dummy. It would take some time, but with the help of muscle memory and a quick flick of the wrist it gets easier. Though Yaboi took this further, being able to not only draw his weapon quickly but also able to sheath it just as fast to allow his hands free to perform handseals. Every ninja needs a weapon, and every ninja needs their hands for ninjutsu.

Projectile - Physical Style
Finding the correct stance with your weapon allows for more fluid movements, quicker motions and overall a more effective way to use your weapon in correspondence with your body. Yaboi had no real favorites for his weapon, but keeping his distance was one of his stronger suits. With bow and arrow in hand and the straw dummy a yard in front of him the boy quieted his breathing and focused on his target, his aim to puncture the target with the wooden training bow and arrow. He pulled the string back hard and with a steady aim let loose an arrow that packed a punch, puncturing the straw dummy easily.

Economizer
Using what space you have available on your body, pockets and other secret compartments is comparable to a tidy room. For Yaboi, it was a game. Making use of every tiny bit of space to fit a pill or trap, the entire point is to have a large arsenal of tools at your fingertips to use against your opponent. Pants with seemingly endless pockets, or jackets with a few hidden holes to hide things in. It was childsplay to the boy, and he knew how useful this skill was to him. It was thanks to a certain class Yaboi had taken that gave him this interest so he could hide poisons on his person.

Martial Artist
It came with time, being able to switch into his fighting stance at the drop of a pin. It was for survival, being able to get into the fray without any wasted movement. It worked well for Yaboi, having to always remain 1 step ahead of his opponent in his mind was easy enough. Acting on it was another issue. So, with being adaptable and processing the necessary movements and actions needed to take at the drop of a pin it came easy and with the essential muscle memory, perfect. Lazy by nature but when it comes to survival, it was his ninja way that would prevail.

Calm Mind
It is no surprise to anyone that the mind of a Nara can be what some can consider to be calm. Yaboi may process many thoughts at one time but to him his thoughts are organized, and by being organized it is considered calm. In unpredictable circumstances a sporadic and crazed mind is no match for the situation, by having a calm mind however one can truly get a plan together for whatever happens. It does take focus to have a calm mind, Yaboi is no exception to this. Being able to plan out his strategy clearly and calmly is his best way to win any confrontation.

Shinobi 101 (Free Slot)
The generation of young shinobi Yaboi is apart of have grown at an exceptional rate. Whether gifted geniuses or diligent training Yaboi and his peers are an exceptional bunch of students. Manipulating chakra for instance has been pinnacle for Yaboi's strengths both in and out of combat. Through intense training and gifted genius Yaboi has been able to bring his chakra manipulation to another level of brilliance. Being able to guide projectiles with chakra has great uses for Yaboi, no longer having to rely on his physical prowess with ranged weaponry in any and all combat scenarios he may find himself in.

Poison Mastery
It all started when Yaboi was late to a class hosted by Tsukasa Mikasa. Yaboi arrived to find four other students in his class had been poisoned by the teacher and he was now responsible with helping them guess the poison affecting them. Under such stressful circumstances did the boy find the usefulness of poisons in a combat situation. Through curiosity and the blood for strategy Yaboi used Serpent's Blood in the student tournament to score two rounds with relative ease. Poisons became a large part of his combat abilities, helping him tip the scales of victory in his favor when he could otherwise fail miserably against stronger opponents.

Elementalist
Yaboi was never content with having restrictions on what he can perform in a battle against other shinobi. He had limits on what he could do but he chose to instead manipulate all of his strengths together for peak performance, rather than waste time on his weaknesses only to get half-assed results. The young shinobi was great at manipulating the shadow element born from major fire and minor water. Through training of those two elements he excelled at he was able to truly manipulate his chosen elements to their extreme and becoming one of his strongest offensive abilities. Combined with the sharp mind of a Nara the boy truly is an Elementalist.

Concentrated Focus
No surprise here that a Nara would have the skills necessary for a tighter bind jutsu. Yaboi would constantly be practicing his shadow possession and other binding jutsus as it would be useful for him as a shinobi strategist to restrict the movements of the enemy. Boasting perhaps the strongest binding jutsu of his generation of academy students. This innate knowledge of the manipulation of shadows for the shadow possession jutsu came to him after a visit to the library for his research on shadow jutsu and his strange affinity to it the shadow element, ultimately leading him on a path of self discovery.

Teamwork
Without a doubt the strength for team cohesion stems from his rivalry and childhood friendship with Ryo Uchiha. The two met by unique circumstance and ever since the have be known to have great teamwork. Yaboi's interest with manipulating the rules of battle to his advantage through unique strategies has expanded into teamplay. Being able to setup circumstances to work for his teammates is a must in battle with multiple opponents. Ultimately being able to click with your teammates intentions in a fight can turn a fight around completely. For example, Yaboi's fascination with traps can assist his teammates with their attacks.

Jutsu Mastery
Needless to say one of Yaboi's greatest strengths in his arsenal is his chakra control. This strong manipulation of chakra has translated to an inherent mastery over his jutsus, allowing him to expend less of his chakra reserves for similar results in comparison to another shinobi. Being able to more carefully make use of his chakra reserves in combat is sure to allow him to remain on the offensive alongside team 11 on any mission they choose to go on. This mastery over his jutsus also helps with the further manipulation of his chakra for special affects of certain styles of jutsus.

Tracker
It is no surprise that the mind of a Nara far surpasses the average shinobi, being famed tacticians and geniuses of our time. With this great mind comes the ability to predict opponent movements, giving them awareness to what their opponent might do and where they might even hide. To further improve this ability to predict Yaboi has trained himself to find trace trails of animals while on his search for ancient animals, this in turn translates to the tracking of humans. The boy's perception was already exceptional, being able to find the samurai each time he tried to hide away from view of the duo.

Dropping Calm Mind
After the attack by the samurai and the following explosion which rocked Yaboi and Ryo greatly, it has had a strong impact on his mind. Traces of ptsd at such a young age and especially with a Nara which already has a mind which processes an exceptional amount more thoughts an ideas than the average shinobi. This has led to the young nara who had once had an exceptionally calm mind to now have otherwise distracted one. This does not mean that Yaboi has lost the edge with his mind, infact this has opened his mind up to more sporadic planning and strategies he would otherwise have ignored or simply not even think of.

Replacing with Clarity
The samurai attack did not leave the young Nara broken however, as the saying goes what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The mind of a Nara is vast and strong, it was during his first taste of real combat that the young shinobi was able to unlock a key ability. Working toe to toe with his innate tracking skills the boy has become cautious of his surroundings to the point of heightened perception, this in turn has given his mind another way to fight off the illusory arts. Aswell, the enhanced perception also works well with his ability to track opponents, giving him a clear view of his surroundings without the need for glasses.
