Name: Yamada, Naoki
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Bloodline: Santaru
General Description:
Naoki is not someone who would stand out, at least not initially. At 4'7" he might be considered a tad tall for his age, but physically he is somewhat scrawny. The most interesting thing about him would have to be his eyes, which are an unusual shade of pale lilac. They stand in steep contrast to his dusky skin and waist-length, chocolate brown hair (which can be worn either loose or tied near the tips). His choice of clothes tend to be simple. They tend to be loose, comfy, and in earthy shades of browns and yellows.
In terms of personality, Naoki could be best described as resilient and inquisitive. This boy is not one to give up very easy and perhaps one might call him a little bit stubborn. He's very much a pragmatist and see's a solution to every problem, it just might take a bit of time to find, but then there's that one point, that sudden spark of imagination that will see him through.
History:
The storm. Yamada Naoki came into this world amidst a storm; the rocks and crags of the mountainous country were his only protection from the tempest that raged all around. No sane man would have dared expose themselves to the lash of wind and rain, nor risk the great arcs of lightning that split the heavens and earth alike. For two poor souls, however, there was no other choice. They were Yamada Noboru and his wife, Hitomi. The storm had them caught as they made the journey from their modest home to the nearby village. There was no hope of escape, only a shallow crack in the rock side to serve as shelter. It was there that their baby boy was born, cradled to sleep beneath a black sky, it's booming thunder and brilliant flashes of light accompanying him to sleep. For such simple folk it was a sign, a boy born to the storm, one who was destined for greatness.
Naoki was a young lad of eleven when the next stage of his life began. His parents saw fit to send him off to Kumogakure and its Ninja Academy. As hard as such a parting was, there was little promise in a life farming crops, especially in such an inhospitable place. It had never seemed to suit him anyway, not a boy so full of life, so eager for excitement. A boy who would run out into the wind and the rain just so he could experience every flash of light and every deep rumble of thunder as a storm went by. This was his chance at something more, something meaningful. The last he saw of his parents was them waving him goodbye as he rolled away on the back of a wagon, the beginning of a long journey to the Village Hidden in the Clouds and his new home.
