Name: Yamamoto Ayame
Age: 11
Physical Description: Ayame is quite short for her age. She has long brown hair and dark brown eyes that appear black. When she's in the sun, her eyes appear to turn into a dark shade of sienna. Her hair is layered around her face and her bangs swoop over her forehead above her left eye. Her limbs appear to be almost too long for her body and it makes her look gangly and awkward. Because of her short stature, her clothes are almost too baggy for her and they hang off in weird places. She has a sunkissed tan that is different from the olive skin tone from the villagers.
Mental Description: Even though she is short, she makes up for it by her intelligence. She loves to read books and in doing so she has learned the technicality of being a jonin but has never had the chance to actually practice what she has learned. She is headstrong and determined and doesn't easily quit something once she starts it. Because she always has her nose stuck in a book, she doesn't have many friends and lacks the social skills to make them. While this doesn't make her unfriendly, most people stay away because she looks unreachable.
History: Ayame is not an only child but because of the age difference between her and her brother, Yusuke, she doesn't get to see him often or speak to him since he is on missions as a Jonin. Her parents often speak highly of Yusuke and she feels ignored and unwanted as a result. Instead of making friends, Ayame turned to books and found solace in their pages. Because she has read so many books, she has learned a lot about being a Jonin and what is expected as one. She is hoping the academy helps her to put her skills into practice. She has read books in many different and weird places, such as on rooftops or sitting on her windowsill. This has given her an uncommon reputation and many of the village's children have deemed her weird. Her parents have tried to get Ayame to put down the books to try to be a normal child and have some friends but Ayame believes the books she reads are the only friends she needs. The tan Ayame inherited from her grandmother makes her stand out among the crowd as most of the village has a olive skin tone from living underground. The rivalry set by her parents between Ayame and Yusuke has made Ayame's goal to be a Jonin that will put her brother to shame and make her shine in her parents eyes.
