Physical Description: Minami is a bookworm by nature and it shows. She's skinny, barely fit enough to call herself a ninja, and has pale skin from little exposure to sunlight. She is a bit on the short side at 146 cm and only weighs around 41 kg as a result. She has wavy, raven-black hair that reaches a little above her shoulders and covers almost none of her face. Her eyes are a deep ocean blue color while their shape is slanted. Her outfits mainly consist of black and light grey colors, similar to what most of the Cloud village ninja wear, with the standard footwear and short or long sleeves depending on the weather.
Mental Description: Minami is a serious and diligent person with a strong sense of duty. She rarely lets her emotions get the better of her, doesn't make jokes, and approaches every situation using pure logic. She is a studious person who is much better at theory than practice, and highly interested in learning more about the village's history on top of ninja techniques. She believes it is her responsibility to do her utmost to support her village as a fine ninja and dedicates most of her time to it. She dislikes lazy individuals, bugs, and tomatoes. History: Back when she was first born, Minami's surname was Ikumo (井雲) and she got her name from her blue eyes. For her first years, her life was quite unremarkable as far as living in the Cloud village went. She went to school like normal, interacted with other children, and had a stable home life. She was never the really sociable type and spent most of her time with her nose deep in a book, but she was still relatively normal. She didn't show any particular talent for the ninja arts but trained diligently and always made it. Her twelfth birthday came along with practically nothing of note taking place.
The first important, yet devastating, event in Minami's life were the news of her parents' deaths. They were part of a mission to subjugate an A-Rank Missing-nin but were killed along with the rest of their squad. As she had no other living relatives in the village, Minami was going to be put in an orphanage, until a chance encounter with the Yamamoto clan's leaders, Yamamoto Musashi and Rei, changed that. The two of them offered her the chance to join the clan, and she decided it would offer her a better future than the uncertainty an orphanage carried with it. She adopted the clan's name out of gratitude and respect to the people who took a complete stranger in and decided to aim to become a medical ninja to follow the clan's ideals. Throughout all that, she managed not to shed a single tear, though her knees felt like they were going to give out at any moment.
