Yamamoto Ryoko
[col]Name: Yamamoto Ryuzaki
Age: 9
Gender: Female
Bloodline: Seikon
Rank: Academy Student
Physical Description: Ryoko is gifted with long silky hair, that cascade all the way till her hip. Surprisingly the dark tresses almost require no effort to be maintained that way, a few strands do linger on her forehead though, forcing her to attempt blowing them away, in vain. She is about four feet five inches and weighs just about twenty-seven kilograms, she is a lean girl, and is a little underweight for her age and height, which is expected since most Yamamotos are ectomorphic. The striking features of her face, are her eyes, which are large with dark pools in the middle, giving Ryoko the ability to make excellent puppy-dog eyes. To keep things simple, she usually dons on dark colored clothes in parity with her twin brother. Her parents fit her on with a chest-plate for extra protection sometimes. She has always loved challenges especially the competitive sort. Her favourite and simple contest is racing, she's lithe and fast which proves to be rather advantageous. Playing excessively with the added challenge of competition, helps her stay fit and healthy.
Mental Description: Ryoko can make almost anything into a competition, sometimes the person she is competing with doesn't even know that she's trying to best them. While winning is very important to her and in her childishness, sometimes she resorts to unfair methods, her victory doesn't feel true on any occasion where she resorts to foul-play. If she loses, because her opponent is cheating or has an unfair advantage that she didn't know about before challenging them, she gets really mad. Quite a few things can get her upset easily, the girl likes having things her way and if something prevents that, she is quite vocal (and sometimes physical) about her dismay. Other than that, she is still too young to know what she wants, but she dreams that she'll be among the best at whatever she sets her mind to. She is fairly driven, but for short-term goals, since the young one lacks foresight. Ryoko is curious and possesses the ability to make connections between things she knows and is learning rather quickly, both mentally and physically. It is rare for her to not pick up things fast, so if something gets too challenging, she can get a little hard on herself or enter the 'grapes are too sour' syndrome.
History: Ryoko is the second born of the Yamamoto family, just barely, following her brother Ryuzaki after exactly three minutes... The dragon twins. The maternal family, the powerful household of the Seikons always console the girl, saying that the second born is considered older since they're probably conceived earlier, but her father's side of the family is sure that the Yamamoto's firstborn was the boy and thus was older. Ryoko always seeks to gain advantage from this debate... Choosing to be younger or elder at will depending on which is more advantageous in the situation.
The Yamamotos are a fairly cheery bunch, but they're a little conservative and protective, especially of their women. In love with Raiden, Akane Seikon readily gave up her path as a Shinobi to rear a family, almost just after she earned the rank of Chunin. Despite sincerely caring a lot for her family, Ryoko has always been a bit of a difficult child. She stubbornly questions the system of the household, she believes Ryuzaki and she were born equal and struggles with the patriarchal rules that dictate otherwise. Among the twins, she definitely is the more driven sort, but every day, she has to wage small wars to be allowed to do the same things as her brother... and sometimes, much to her annoyance, she loses some of those battles. The girl definitely wants to prove her family wrong and to show them that she can be a better shinobi than anyone else and that her gender has nothing to do with it. Still not possessing the wisdom to compete with her former self, Ryo seeks opponents to thwart, especially of the opposite gender.
The only ones around her she could challenge were the younger academy students or the aspiring ones and of course her twin. With her bloodline ability, beginning to bloom sometimes while racing others, she could blink ahead, it seemed like momentarily, she tore through time itself. Occasionally, she'd exude something unidentified from herself... and it would seem like there were two of her, this particularly aided her when she and her friends played ninja and it became almost impossible to tag her with the fake shurikens. Lastly, when competing with Ryuzaki, who had usually had an advantage in obstacle races, considering his love for parkour, sometimes, Ryo managed to go through objects, phasing through them in her crazy attempt to win, this was the rarest of the three that she'd begun showcasing and completely out of her control. Blinking through time would sometimes respond to her wish to win, or any other reason was intense enough, other than that, unfortunately, had no control over when these abilities would aid her, so the girl couldn't really rely on them. Of course, her twin had some of his own bloodline borne tricks up his sleeve... This always made their contests a rather interesting spectacle.
She threw several tantrums to convince her parents to let her enroll in the academy with Ryuzaki and not any later. Finally, Raiden Yamamoto agreed, on the condition that she continually perform better than her brother, when (not if, since he was certain this would happen) she didn't, she'd have to leave the academy and they'd start finding someone that she can be betrothed to (an idea that the girl abhorred with vehemence). Additionally, Ryoko could only continue onward on her path as a shinobi, if she graduated before her brother. Despite all these seemingly impossible conditions, just allowing his precious daughter to enroll at such a tender age and in the same class as her brother, Raiden got a lot of flack from the extended Yamamoto clan.
P.S: I live with Ryuzaki Yamamoto and I have given him permission to have the same historical root as mine.
