Yamanaka Hakuren

Not all born in the village are destine to become a shiboni and at the beginning Hakuren thought that was to be her fate, but destiny is a cruel mistress that enjoys playing with people’s expectations. Hakuren was a member of the Yamanaka bloodline, but unfortunately she was also born with a condition in which she is substantially physically weaker than most people her age. With her frail body, her parents did not enroll her into the academy with her siblings. Her parents with their best judgement deemed the shinobi life too difficult for her with her conditions. To give her to the academy would be like throwing her to the wolves, but they did not want Hakuren to feel inadequate however, so they did teach her the arts of the Yamanaka the best they could.

Body Mind Switch was a Reconnaissance Technique and a unique ability only able to be performed by those with the mental sharpness found in the Yamanaka Clan, this ability allows the Yamanaka to actually expel their own consciousness within their Body, in an attempt to enter the mentality of another, even animals. With this jutsu she was able to see for the first time and she found herself quite skilled at it. Through her siblings she attended the academy without leaving the safe confines of her room.

The academy found her skills very interesting and seemed quite useful in the shinobi world. The academy after some debate decided to give her a private exam personalized for her conditions. This is not to say that they were making it easy for her; it would just be pointless to do a test of strength when the person doesn't use their own body. Her exam was to infiltrate the hokage office and observe a meeting at a giving time. Though momentarily possessing several members of the staff that worked there she found out who scheduled for such a meeting. With that information all she needed to do was wait for the man to arrive, jump into his mind and just sit back and watch. However possessing people was only the basics of the technique. She knew if she looked hard enough and experiment around with it, she could find a variety of ways to use such a jutsu.
Hakuren has many pets in which she likes to control. As a Yamanaka she can possess animals and explore the village without physically leaving her room. It was a very handy reconnaissance technique and she was quite good at it. Today she was hopping around in the body of a rabit. This rodent was a naïve to the forest climate that surrounded the village and thus it attracted little attention.

Hakuren loved watching people form this particular point of view. It was interesting to see the world from an animals prospective. As she makes her journey through the streets, she notices a few pieces of fruit rolling on the ground. She sprints for the food and full speed while dodging the feet of the giants that commonly roamed the area. She manages to grab an apple before anybody else got to it. Eagerly she nibbles into the fresh fruit like a squirrel puffing up her cheeks with food. Though they may be merely roads to average people, they were long and busy highway to a bunny. She has become quite hungry in her adventure and the juices from the fruit was very refreshing.

For her chunin exam she had to retrieve an item hidden in a cavern filled with toxic fumes. Hakuren already has health conditions as it is and would not there enter it with her main body. Though there are a few types of critters that call these caves home, Hakuren has yet to bother to tame any of them. Regular pets would be entirely out of the question for they would pass out long before getting too deep into the caverns. No, she would have to use a creation jutsu to make a suitable body. She casts a rock golem jutsu; the golem resembled a stone fox like a statute of the goddess Inari seen at shrines. Deep within the earth she draws forth her minerals. The artificial creature arises out of the ground like a beast climbing out of a pool of water. The stone fox walks around its summoner and Hakuren ties a red bandana around its neck to complete the look. She then pats her companion on the head and she proceeds to use her favorite jutsu she is known for and perfected the use of, Body Mind Switch.

As a Chunin she taught a class on the topic of ghosts while using the Body Mind Switch in the most interesting of ways by casting it without even targeting anything with her jutsu, she just expels her soul from her body and wanders about in spirit form. She uses the fact that a Yamanaka soul cannot instantly return to the body upon a missed attempt to her advantage. Only those who had the gift to see spirits would notice her and naturally the class was only for those with that gift. Those that tried to just drop in would find it odd there was no teacher in the active class.HistoryTo her parent Hakuren is a delicate wall flower and are very protective of her. She does not see herself as weak, only strong in different ways on the contrary she believe herself quite strong and talented. To her a body is merely a vessel to which the soul sleeps. Her parents keep her inside but she uses her arts to view the world through others eyes. She often takes over her siblings bodies without asking. On many occasion she uses her many pets to explore. People rarely notice an animal watching them and thus she finds herself quite the spy. Despite being physically male, she does not consider herself to be one. She found the stereotypes for being a man offence and decided she was going to be a woman. To call her a man or say she is unattractive as a lady would be considered a grave insult.Personality
