Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Grabbing the letter from his pocket, Umashi surprisingly decided to make the trip back to the village to make sure to hand deliver the letter to Yume. It wasn't that he wasn't exactly pressed for time but unfortunately for him, he just didn't trust the process enough to leave it up to chance that Yume would get the letter herself by any other means. Dressed in clothes that clearly showed him as one ready to leave, the Hokage tapped his foot a bit as he waited outside of the door of the newly appointed Sennin. He'd knocked but it was rude to just barge in, that and he didn't know if she was exactly in the office today either. He'd wait, for now, content to go about his mental business otherwise.

From inside the office, Umashi would have been able to hear the instrumental along with singing inside. The knock stopped the singing almost immediately, leaving the instrumental to continue playing. There were a few footsteps pattering around from within before the door opened. The manager was partially hidden behind the door that swung open, being the one who turned the knob himself; while Yume was sitting in her chair, rearranging the things on her desk. Namely, the record player that was on the side.

The music abruptly stopped and Yume coughed, crossing her arms over her chest as she did so. Manager's watchful eye on her made sure that she did so to keep her chest bones intact.

"Ossan!" Yume chirped, shifting her arms from position to position to find a nonchalant pose. When she settled on one, she peered at the man innocently. "What brings you here?"

Whipping out the letter before him, Umashi tried to keep things brief because he definitely wanted to get on the road. Having read it he made no attempt to try and keep that a secret but he still trusted that Yume would do her part to get the mission officially going. "We received a letter from Suna talking about a medical something or another. Rather convenient but I'll take it. As an aside though, while I'm in Kumo, I'll be speaking to them about a joint venture to create a railway from their country to ours while also incorporating parts of the Earth Country. I figure that it's about time that we start acting like a civilized world and work on our world economy. We'll see how it goes but I'll keep you posted." Having crossed the room while he was talking, Umashi laid the letter on her desk and gave her a cheesy thumbs up. "Stay sharp!" Before any other goodbyes could be made, Umashi gave a curteous bow and then turned to leave. Now there was nothing holding him back from Kumo.

"Oh."

Yume was about to reach for the letter left on the desk when Manager swiped it before her. A weary look shot at her, wordlessly warning her to take better care of herself, lest complications arise. She responded with the same exasperated look. For a civilian sure, an injury like this may take weeks, or even months to rehabilitate from. But she wasn't a mere civilian, or even a mere human. Give her that much credit at least.

But she let the manager read the letter for her. A medical meeting will prove a little difficult, considering she wasn't a medic herself. Perhaps Yuri would need to accompany her. That also posed a problem - the understaffing of the hospital would surely make her convincing Yuri to come to Suna would be more of an obstacle than it should be.

Umashi left, leaving Yume to brighten up and turn to Manager.

"Oppa, we're gonna get the promotions ready for the Suna concert now, right? Let's do it!"
