Name: Yuki Toshi
Age: 8
Physical Description: With green eyes calm eyes and dark brown hair, Toshi is a small boy. Considering that his body hasn't fully developed yet, he stands at 4ft 2in. and weighs a little more than 60lbs. He wears a shroud to cover most of his body. His body usually stays cool, cold to the touch, slightly shimmering at times from the humidity in the air cooling his skin and forming small ice crystals on along his body. He wears a pair of shinobi boots, cut at the front exposing his toes. He usually wears a clueless expression upon his face, giving the impression that he has no idea of what's going on.
Mental Description: Very mature for his age, Toshi is somewhat a shell of a child. Toshi stays quiet, trying not to think of his past. He tries to hold back his anger, but sometimes it's something that he can't repress. He isn't motivated by much except by this shinobi program that was mentioned to him. He's shy around new people. Even when getting used to someone, he still doesn't speak much. The boy is very blunt, and tries not to beat around the bush. He isn't afraid to confront a problem for what it is. He may be seen as rough, but it's because he hasn't discovered his soft side.
History: Applying for Sakurako Clan (Member) (Orphaned / Runaway )
Toshi arched his eyebrows to show his anger. His facial expression showed his current mood. "Then what's my name? The tears started to swell up in his eyes as he asked again, but he wasn't given an answer. Instead, the two older people became frozen in place. Toshi paused, not knowing what to do at this point. He decided to flee the home that he grew up in. He knew the two older people would thaw out... as they always did after an argument.
Toshi ran and ran. He found his way through a nearby forest, and stopped when he came upon a nearby pond. He sat near the edge of the water, looking at himself in the water's reflection with a rather stern expression. The tears leaking from his face created ripples in the water. He stayed there for hours alone. A few shadows from the nearby village noticed the boy sitting quietly, wrapped up in a large shroud, staring at the lake's water. There was ice covering the grass and trees nearby.
The shadows took the boy without much trouble. Toshi didn't fight it, he was hungry, sleepy, and confused from his caretakers telling him his true parents were either lost or dead. They brought him to the Leaf Village, and held the boy a few days for questioning. When his answer to everything was I don't know, they decided to leave the boy in holding. If he wouldn't cooperate, he wasn't going to get any help.
They decided to bring in a specialist. A woman that gave the boy food and shelter. Toshi was turned cold from what happened to him, but after a few days the boy was ready to talk. He gave the woman the story his caretakers gave him, from finding him abandoned by a pond near the way, all the way up to the point where he ran out on them. She found this part shocking, but didn't become angry with the boy.
Instead of telling the boy off or anything else, she gave the boy a surprising question. "Do you want to part take in the shinobi program?" Toshi didn't know what that was. She agreed to get the boy some help, and maybe this new lifestyle would help him cope with the questions that he had. He'd be left at a clan house where he could ask questions, and maybe find answers.
The boy was taken to the Sakurako Clan house. They were known to aid the village by taking in runaways, orphans, and strays. Toshi wasn't against this. His caretakers couldn't control his hidden power. He didn't want to burden them with his abnormalities. This clan house sounded like a place that would help his growth, though he knew there would be a lot of work to put in to understand himself. Maybe this would be his first lesson?
Bloodline: Yuki Bloodline
Toshi opened his eyes, looking around his room. After blinking a few more times he moved his blanket away, watching as a few ice crystals hit the ground. Toshi sat on the edge of his bed, thinking things through before going to say good morning to his caretakers. After a few minutes, Toshi moved to the living room where his caretakers were. "Why does my room always get the coldest in the house? I try to light a fire, and even-" "A fire? Young man, don't you ever do that again! You could burn down the house! Toshi sighed. " Ok, but it gets really cold. So cold that I wake up and there's ice on my blanket every morning." "It's just frost from outside." "But I keep the windows closed. And it stays hot around this time of y-" "IT'S JUST FROST FROM O-"
Toshi's anger boiled over. It wasn't from being cut off, it was from the fact that he knew he wasn't being answered truthfully. His two caretakers were now frozen solid once again. Toshi sighed as he walked away. "Why bother?" The boy uttered nonchalantly as he went back to his room. They would thaw out as they always did.
