Physical Description: Kaito is tall for such a young teen, standing at 5'6", with a narrow build and tan skin. His most recognizable is definitely his light purple hair, with his ankle length pony tail and wild fringe. Despite being low on visible muscle definition Kaito is very physical in both his affections and his approach to the ninja life; he'll nearly always be found draped over someone or something with his cocky smirk in place. He favours baggy, flowing clothes in his favorite colours of white and purple and is generally barefoot.
Mental Description: At the academy Kaito is notorious for his listless attitude to lessons in theory and drills. Only in those survival lessons that take place above ground and physical competitions does he come to life. Kaito's biggest interest in life is exotic experiences and he is a dedicated supporter of the village returning to the surface. Generally he gives off a strong impression of being poorly suited to the shinobi lifestyle, especially in the harsh lands of Sunagakura. In end though he is deeply aware of the nation's First Men heritage, with a strong loyalty to the Sunahoshi clan and the line of the Stewards along with a firm conviction that the strong have an obligation to the weak and a ruthless approach to combat that seem to be carrying him to success.
History: Kaito grew up in Sietch Zensunna as an only child in a small civilian family; his parents had waited till quite late in life to have children in the slim hopes that their children could be born into life on the surface once more. The Yuudai family had once been quite well to do traders, based in Sunagakure but operating a shipping company importing goods from the other nations. When the village was forced underground this business suffered greatly however. As such times Kaito's parents threw themselves into new work so much so that even when he was growing there wasn't much time left for him. With a child as fiercely independent and curious as Kaito this led to a childhood spent exploring Suna. He quickly grew fascinated with the Grand Palais, it seemed endlessly exotic to a young child; full of new sights, experiences and fights that Kaito thrived on. He grew up fast but lost none of his optimistic nature, forming strong friendships amongst the ever brawling street gangs and taking advantage of the loose understanding of licensing laws in The Red Lights. Since entering the academy Kaito has eagerly applied these street lessons, excelling in both taijutsu and social infiltration scenarios despite his constant preoccupation with getting contraband sake into the grounds. His charisma doesn't play half as well in the stricter world of ninja but Kaito is nothing if not determined to make genin and succeed.
