News was spreading quickly through the city. An unknown toxin was released and thought the city people were incapable of avoiding the effects of it. No one was immune. No one was safe. No one was untouched by the horrors of it's emancipation. It was the perfect opportunity for some, and the perfect weapon to unleash for others. No excuse needed, you were allowed to do anything that your heart so desired.
In the background, singing could be heard. It was a soft drunken hum of some guy, singing a song called "Let me go", as it was introduced, he couldn't remember the name of the group. The people within this makeshift bar turned karaoke night turned harborage. A safe place for those waiting out the storm of the face eaters outside. Every time though that door opened, a shiver would run down ones spine. Unknown if that person entering was sickened by the outbreak, or they themselves seeking shelter. He had just entered no more then 30 minuets ago, yet still felt the effects of this...this...this! Whatever it was. A spell most certainly, as it had to be something akin to magic. It was stronger then any jutsu. Stronger then a genjutsu. Their was no fighting it, only letting it wash over you. No control, no denial. Only the need to act on ones baser instinctual desires. A thing that made you want to eat the faces of others.
The man's voice fell flat, and a slow applause started to echo, causing everyone else to join in without control. As he turned back from the one singing, whom seemed quite content with himself, yet unsure of how to put the thing you sing into back on the stick, Kishin grabbed a hold of his liquid libation, unsure truly what it was, but it tasted semi decent. Soon another person would step up to the stick to sing another song that would only remind them and those within what was happening outside.
