Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

A habitable plateau where in legend Raiden slew Cronus, an ancient and evil god, setting the stage for the development of Kumogakure in its present form. In reality, every human population center has its slums, and the Cronopolis fills that role due to its association with poverty, violence and preternatural bad luck.

Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Mon Aug 13, 2018 5:50 am

Image

It would be the second time Aya had come down into the Cronopolis to meet with Kyo. He had received word that she wished to train some more, which was a pleasant enough surprise; he knew his techniques and methods were different from the academies, and that they tended to drive others away. His Little Birds being proof of that to some degree. Once again there would be eyes following the girl as he made her way to the same warehouse as before, but they weren’t as hostile, and there were even people on the street when she came by, though most of them pointedly ignored her as she traveled.

The outside of the warehouse had the same appearance as before, nothing seemed different until she entered the building. Were before she had found missing windows, and rubbish pilled out of the way in a corner there was now neither. The walls had been replaced with wood paneling, a stair case and catwalk around the wall added, and various pieces of training equipment ranging from a climbing net, to weights, various heavy bags, speed bags, wooden horses and wooden training stands. There was also a variety of lights along the outside wall, ensuring that everything was well lit.

Kyo was once again standing on the far side of the warehouse, this time surrounded by a group of ten younger children, Aya may be familiar with the lean and harsh look that they all had, though they all seemed to have been listening intently to the scored man as he spoke. As she stepped foot into the actual interior of the warehouse Kyo would speak loudly enough to be heard across the area, “That is enough for now Little Birds. Go and eat, I have business to conduct.” Those surrounding him would all bow in unison and turn and stroll from the room via the door that Kyo stood near in an orderly manner.

Kyo would beckon the girl to come forward; he would stand there, hands behind his back and watch. She would feel that she was still being watched by someone else this time, as she crossed the floor to Kyo unlike last time she had been here. He had prepared something for the girl, had heard the news of her graduation and knowing that she had an interest that she had stated before had prepared for her something that he felt would be of use, it was also an appropriate thing to give from someone in his position, though he had to ensure that was the case before he had went ahead with what he had done.

Re: Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Aya had contacted Kyo about training again, she liked him, even if he was a little harsher than anyone else she's been taught by. He did help her last time, and now she was where she wanted to be. Though she couldn't tell him that she was AiT, Genin would work though. It was strange to think about, one minute she's a student, the next she was graduating top of her class.

Aya walked through the town with a little more confidence this time, she felt eyes on her again, but she knew her higher-ups probably had eyes here too. It wasn't empty this time, there were actually people, but Aya avoided them and went straight to her destination. She felt a different vibe here this time, but she still was on her toes. She probably could never really let her guard down fully.

Once Aya reached what used to be an old where house, she took a glance inside and saw a dojo. It made her wonder if she took a wrong turn, but no, Kyo was there with younger children. He dismissed them once Aya entered, though now she knew what he meant by little birds, they were his people, students or something. She had questions about him, but she'd refrain from asking. After all usually personal questions, if answered came at a price.

When Kyo beckoned her she walked over with a smile, and confidence in every step she took. She felt something else watching her today, She wasn't sure what it was, but she didn't allow it to distract her. She had a cloud head protector on her arm, proving she was indeed a full shinobi now. "Good morning, Sensei." She stated with a smile, "I graduated top of my class. You helped me, and I wanted to thank you, and continue to learn from you." She said with a nod. She hoped her trainer, Aoi, wasn't the jealous type, but she wanted to learn all she could, from whoever was willing to teach. Not one person could teach her, in order to become better, she needed more than one person to guide her. Most kids had their parents to fill in that role, but that's something Aya never had a choice of.

Kyo took note of the head protector tied to her arm, it was good that she wore it proudly, or at least wasn’t ashamed to have it displayed openly on her person. While he gave a nod and slight bow to her, he did not reply with words, rather he turned around to retrieve something, when he turned around he would hold a few items in either hand. “In order to congratulate you on your graduation, I have prepared a set of items for you. The first is this.” He would present a silk sash that closely matched the color of her jacket, the green one that she had worn last time to the training, that was more than long enough to be used instead of the headbands normal cloth tie, as well as twice as wide, able to be used as a sash if the young nin wished “It is stronger than the one you have, and should be of the proper length.” He would take a moment to produce the second gift and hold it out for the young girl, “The second is a copy of Nii Meiji’s Battle Studies, both in the original Vulgar, and my translation to common. My notes as on what has changed in my experience are included with the translation. Keep in mind no true war has been waged in some time, so application may need thought to apply.” He had not been sure if the girl had learned the Vulgar tongue, not all of the students had, and even many nin at his level hadn’t bothered to learn it fully if their work did not call for it. He had used the excuse that it was good practice of his translation skills when he had made the copy for her, and it was true that it was.

Kyo would place his hands behind his back if she took his gifts, hands inside one another, if she did not, he would place them back on the stool that he stood in front of and face her once more. “Today I offer a choice. You may work on teamwork, tactics, we may perform some physical and tai training or something else that you wish, all things make one a better nin.” With the last one he would gesture to the equipment in the room before placing his arms back behind his back once again, looking down at her awaiting an answer. None of the choices had any inflection when he had spoken them, he had prepared for all of the answers but the last one, though he was sure that he could think of something to train whatever it was the new genin might wish to learn in short order. It was her choice to make.

Aya blinked when Kyo said he had gifts for her, she was quite shocked and most certainly didn't expect such a kind gesture. But she thought it'd be rude to deny the gifts, so she accepted them. Aya took the gifts and smiled. She'd have to study the books later, she knew only a phrase or two in Vulgar Komugaian, but she sure definitely didn't know how to read it. Her home village used to mix common and vulgar, at least the older folks. She never actually learned anything besides hey, and bye basically. But it was entirely alien to her either, she just didn't know it was a language that was used, maybe it'd be good to learn in since it wasn't well known. Or make her own secret code.

"Thank you, I am extremely grateful." Aya stated in a happy tone, but with a serious undertone. She took off her jacket, and then she covered the books with her jacket on the stool to keep them safe. The last thing she wanted was to destroy them by accident. Aya wrapped the sash around her waist, for now, he said was durable enough, so if she was going to use it, she may as well wear it now.

Aya pondered his question. She wanted to work on teamwork, she'd eventually start to learn the ins and outs of her team, but she felt like she needed to learn how. She wasn't sure what she was doing wrong, but she knew she was lacking in one way or another. "Teamwork. My last team exercise ended badly, my team had the numbers but still lost. I wasn't sure how to work with my team." Aya explained, although it was her whole team that failed, she felt like she needed to learn how to work in a team. She needed to, it would be life or death on a mission.

Aya knew the first step was communication, which her team lacked during the last battle. But there had to be more than just that right? What skills could she learn to help out a team? What could she contribute? The way she fought didn't really have 'support' written on it. SHe couldn't protect her teammates with what she knew how to do.

Kyo gave her a singular nod in reply to her thanks, and watched as she prepared herself for what was to come. He noted she wore the silk around her waist, and waited patiently for her answer. When she finally chose Teamwork Kyo tilted his head slightly to the side for a moment before calling out loudly, though not loud enough to be painful, “Murder One, Murder Four. Blunt weapons demonstration. “After a moment out filed eight individuals, the first four moved with a confidence that the last four did not, the first were also larger and more developed than the latter group. Each group contained an older boy with a sword, one larger one who wielded a kanabō and two younger ones that held spears in their grasps. If Aya was observant, she would note that these were not the same individuals who had left shortly before, though they were dressed the same.

Kyo let the two groups being in their practice utilizing some of the wooden dummies before he began to speak, “Teamwork is an interesting beast. One may assume that communication is the key to It, but that is only partially true. One must keep in mind several factors when working in a team, communication helps in every aspect, but simply having all parts of the team understand the end result, the death of the enemy, disabling them, buying time for reinforcements, survival of the team or an individual, and accepting the role that one must play in meeting that goal is just important.” Kyo nodded to the two groups, intending for Aya to watch them.

The first group who had obviously been more developed and larger were moving quicker, and struck more surely, and while they were all obviously skilled, they lacked teamwork, kept getting in the way of each other, the spears rarely getting a chance to strike at the dummy with the sword wielder dancing about striking at the dummy’s center and blocking their avenues of attack, the Kanabō all but useless standing to the side glaring at the back of the sword user who was obviously showing off his skills and not working as he should be.

On the other hand the latter group was different, they struck the target in tandem, without a word between them, the spears snaking around the sides, or over the top of the other two to strike at the same time. The older boy who blocked and attacked with the sword and the one with the Kanabō was working in tandem, putting out strikes and moving in a way that kept providing openings for the others that were working with him, the Kanabō wielding boy was steadily breaking off the arms of the wooden dummy with well-timed strikes just when it seemed there would be a lull. Their dummy constantly rocked from well-timed blows and quickly the finished up, destroying all the arms and piercing plates that were on the dummy and lined back up while the others continued to strike, the Kanabō wielder starting to get red faced and the sword user oblivious to it. It wasn’t long before one of the spears got inpatient, seeing the other group finish and tried to sneak an attack through an opening that should have been left, nicking the sword user in the process, tearing through the clothing and bloodying the spear.

“Hold!” Kyo called out as soon as it happened, as the sword wielder howled and spun on the other anger easily displayed on his face, “Iwasaki.” Kyo said the name in a simply, the boy froze, the hold hadn’t caused any concern, but the saying of the name had stopped the boy as surely as if Kyo had grabbed ahold of him. He held his hand to his side and turned to face Kyo and Aya with an angry look, “Communication, cooperation, knowing oneself and your team, a united sense of purpose, put aside your ego, trust and respect one another, and act as a team.” Kyo gestured to the door behind him, “Go to old nan, Iwasaki.” The others in the boys team moved to follow, “No, you three stay.” Turning to the other four he gave them a nod, and they filed out quietly, still looking every bit as awkward as they had before.

The ones who remained looked a concerned, but were quiet and stood as they had been told, “Trust, collaboration, hard work, appreciation, purpose, agility and creativity and a shared mindset. These are the hallmarks of a good team.” He paused a moment before looking to Aya, “What did they lack? What would you have them do to improve as a team?” Kyo would listen to the girls answer before nodding his head, “Good, now you show me alongside them.” He would gesture to one of the dummies, “No chakra.” He added simply as he stood by and waited to see. It wasn’t going to be as simple as just speaking, or watching, it was going to require doing and working with the others. The impromptu team work would depend on Aya, who would be taking the sword wielders place as leader, responsible for making openings and leading the team.

Re: Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:23 pm

Aya's attention went to the two different groups who came in, they were different in their own ways, but body language said it all. She knew where this would lead to, she'd be working with the team who wasn't good at teamwork probably. As the entered Aya noted these were not the same kids she saw in the beginning, Kyo explained to her what teamwork was, and aya listened as she watched the two groups start practicing. Aya watched both teams, the more developed team was working together nearly perfectly, while the other team... well it was obvious they didn't have a plan, they were working hard, but definitely not together.

Then one of them was hurt, Aya couldn't help but cringe a little. Kyo stopped them before a fight broke out. He seemed to have a stern hold on them, as they didn't even fight back. Kyo made only the three stay, then asked Aya what they lacked, and what she would have them do to improve."They lacked collaboration, creativity, and a shared mindset." Aya stated, but then she took a moment to ponder on what she would have them do to improve. The Sword user was the one who was the biggest problem out of the bunch, but they should have spoken out.

Aya couldn't help but think about Ji's dancing, how the other team fought, it was like they were dancing together, all of their movements were fluid, and worked well together. "Fighting is like dancing, every movement counts, whether to a beat or to avoid getting hit. When you are together, you guys are covering each other's openings. The first step, I believe is to know what each other can do, what your best at, and what you are limited to in a fight." Aya explained. "I am an unarmed fighter, I get in close and hit fast, Like your sword user, I could easily get in the way if I was not paying attention." She said with a nod, "But that's why you all should be moving together, and knowing where each other are." Aya said, "You're all skilled." She mentioned before looking at Kyo.

Kyo told her to show them now, alongside them, to that she nodded, he also said no chakra, that was easy. Kinda made it easier for her since she didn't have to plan anything, just basic strikes were something she survived on. "Alright," Aya looked at the group, then she walked over to the dummy. "We can give the spears an opening, you'll have to move when I do, it'll be like taking turns, but quickly enough so the target doesn't have a chance to counter strike." She stated, it'd give everyone a chance to strike, and stay out of each other's way. "It'll be a count, 1,2,3,4, over and over." She explained as she pointed to herself then each one of them as she counted, it was like a tempo for dancing, but it was the best thing she had right then.

"Alright, lets go." Aya stated as she moved in close to the dummy to hit it two times in the chest before moving to give the Kanabo kid an opening to hit. SHe made sure she was still close, but out of the way of the spears. Aya hoped they understood her and tried to work together, she mostly said what she thought based on what she saw.

Re: Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Kyo listened to Aya’s explanation of their issues, and that she continued on speaking about fighting being like dancing. It was true enough, every step had a counter-step that could be used or one could force anther into it with their own, but dancing was rarely as dangerous, or as exciting. When she explained what it was she did, and acknowledge that she could easily get in the way Kyo gave a small nod. That was good that she realized this. The others though, they looked to each other a bit concerned with her explanation, and didn’t look too happy to have this girl that they didn’t know any of taking Iwasaki’s place. There was no grumbling, but it was evident enough on their faces for those who cared to look that they didn’t like the girl telling them what to do in place of the one who had been out there before.

When Kyo mentioned no Chakra the other three’s expressions changed more to a frown as they looked at the girl for a moment before their faces turned to a more neutral expression similar to what Kyo wore most of the time, and the same as the other team had when they filled in and out.

When Aya started the others were a bit clumsy in their approach, getting in the way of each other as they tried to work around the unfamiliar fighter and her tempo. After a few moments of them clumsily trying to follow suit Kyo would with a good deal of concentration begin to tap his foot in the simple beat she had selected, sending rumbles through the ground that could be felt by the others, it wasn’t enough for anything more than a feeling, nothing shook or rattled. It was difficult to keep his ‘footsteps’ from causing havoc, though this wasn’t the first time he had tried this, but the concentration caused his eyes to narrow as he watched the group work.

After several passes they started to get it together, settling in the timing easier and working better together, though far from perfect. The spears snaking around to strike one after the other in the order she had prescribed them, and the Kanabō user working his best to get in strikes around Aya and her movements, sometimes struggling to move to the side he needed to be on and keep the pace with the others. After a bit Kyo called a halt to it with a simple, “Stop.” He would nod while looking at a spot in front of him and three other would move quickly to it. Kyo would watch Aya a moment before speaking, “What needs improvement?”

Aya could tell they didn't like her, she honestly showed that she didn't care what they thought. She ignored their frowns of disapproval and focused on what she needed to do. They were clumsy, but Aya was patient with them, she made sure to keep at their pace, if she went any faster, she'd risk being hurt, or hurting one of them. She hoped they'd get it, but she just needed to give them a chance.

Aya's stepped to the rhythm of the taps, it was like she was dancing, moving to the rhythm of the beat, and hitting the dummy hard. The movement of her punches flowed like water, and her kicks followed the same rhythm. The others seemed to start to start getting it, they kinda started to move more in sync, but they still lacked something. Practice mostly. The Kyo told them to stop, and so they did. The hustled to stand in front of Kyo.

Aya walked over to stand beside them. She was asked what needed to be improved. She took a moment and looked at the boys, then she looked at Kyo. "We all need to work on pacing and fluid movement." She stated, "More practice and Patience it needed. Though they'll need to work together to plan out who can do what, and practice on their teams fighting style." Aya explained, she wasn't a replacement, but she did enjoy something new.

Aya gave Kyo a smile, "Fighting like that reminded me of before Kumokagure came to my village and took me into the academy." Aya stated, she didn't hate her life before, but she also wanted to change, be something more than a petty criminal. Its the reason why she came to Kumo. She didn't know she could even use chakra before shinobi told her she could, and showed her how.

Kyo nodded to Aya, “Good, fluid movement is good, but you should also look into a different, harder to predict Rhythm for your attacks in the future when you are fighting solo Aya-san.” Kyo paused a moment, “Something along the lines of a three four and on an offbeat.” He tossed out as a basic example before looking to the others giving a small nod to them, “She is correct. Iwasaki-kun and his ego is also an issue in play that I shall correct shortly.” Kyo gave a small nod towards where they had come from indicating they were to leave, which they did in short order.

“This is good; at times you’ll have to fight without your Charka, as showing yourself to be a nin in the field can be the death of a mission, or yourself.” He replied to her comment on reminding her before her time in Kumo. Kyo sighed lightly, “There is no real substitute to learn teamwork other than working with others in a team. Knowing what others will do before they do it, and stepping in to do something of your own to cover them, or to enhance their actions.” Kyo’s thoughts wonder back to Doku, Miko, Hoshitsu, and their time in the Ancient Forest, dealing with the Dire Animals and the time he had spent afterwards with Miko and Doku. The scored man’s face held the slightest hint of a smile as he pulled himself back to the present, “Take your time alongside Eiji-san as an example, the two of you seem to know each other well, and would make a decent team if you worked alongside one another more often. You’ll find you can figure out what they are going to do without actually speaking, which is ultimately where you want to be when working with another.” Pausing he sighed softly and continued, “Eventually you’ll get a feel with timing and working with others regardless of your familiarity with them, but that takes a great deal of practice and time working with others. Studying a variety of fighting styles will help, as will losing your own ego, pushing it to the side, if not killing it completely in combat. There is no place for it, it is merely a hindrance.”

There was more Kyo knew could be said, but he also knew overly long lectures were about as useful to many as a fart in the wind. “If you wish to practice alongside some of my Murders, or even train with my Little Birds, then feel free to come by anytime during the end of the week. Though training alongside Eiji-san or another nin that you intend to perform missions with would be of more benefit in the long run due to charka usage being a large part of combat for us.” Kyo looked down at Aya a moment before asking, “Anything further Aya-san? I have to consider if I take a mission that was hidden from the system to die or leave such intrigue to those more suited for it.” It was something that had been troubling him for some time, it was a dangerous proposition, and it may force him to play his hand early depending on what happened.

Aya nodded and listened to Kyo, she seemed to loosen up a bit more after the boys left. Kyo was right the only way she could truly work on her team skills was with her team but... Her team left on a mission without her. She was notified afterward, the team's first mission and they left without her. The took someone in her steed, but she didn't know who at this time. That and Ji's comment towards her on their graduation day bothered her too. She felt like she never truly be apart of the village, or the team.

Aya listened to him and nodded. She understood what she needed to do, she did need to work with them, even if they didn't want her on their team. "I only recently learned how to use chakra believe it or not... I know how to survive without it, I'm sure I wouldn't cry if I ever lost it. I stick to Taijutsu because it's where I feel the most proficient in. I am training Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu, in case I need to use certain techniques..." Aya stated, though she usually didn't speak anything about her past, maybe it was because the area just reminded her of where she came from.

Aya blinked when he stated he had to consider taking a mission that could kill him. "Well I believe that will be it... If you take the mission, I am sure you can do it." She stated with optimism. But quickly afterward she took a more serious tone, "But most people die out there because they took more than they could handle, instead of getting help." She stated, she'd seen it many times before.

"Speaking of missions, I need to go on my first mission. My squad decided to not take me with them on their first mission, but I can't sit on my ass and wait around." Aya said with a nod, she then picked up the books and put on her jacket. "I'll be back around again, I do enjoy your lessons. Maybe next time we can do some basic hand to hand, or something." She with a smile. She hoped there would be a next time, but she didn't want to get her hopes up. People die, and she knew that. She'd almost forgotten since the village felt so safe, but the world wasn't safe.

"You're free to contact me if you need help with anything." Aya offered, but she doubted he would since he had lots of followers it seemed.

Re: Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Sat Aug 18, 2018 9:17 pm

Kyo listened to Aya and gave her a small shrug, “Being permanently cut off from chakra is more traumatizing than you might think. If you doubt it visit the wards sometime.” Kyo took a moment before answering the rest of what she had said, “It is good to not be overly reliant on one of the three branches if possible, opens up avenues of approach that would otherwise be unavailable.”

When Aya expressed her belief that if he took the mission he could do it Kyo absently traced the scar down the side of his neck, he had always completed his missions, one way or another, but there was always a cost. The scarred man looked slightly sad for a moment as he spoke, “There aren’t many that I can trust, they tend to die or worse.” This look was gone swiftly, almost as if it had never really been there. He turned to face the boy who had been sent for treatment as he emerged from the doorway. Kyo tapped his side as the boy stood before him, who obliged and raised his shirt to show the freshly stitched wound; Kyo examined it for a moment prodding it gently before he performed a few hand seals and placed his softly glowing hand over the boy’s wound. The boy light out a sigh and relaxed almost immediately, Kyo for his part gave a nod to the boy, “We’ll talk later Iwasaki. Think on your Ego in the meantime.” After a moment’s pause he added, “Go eat and rest.”

After the boy had shuffled out Kyo turned to address Aya once more, “Admirable, I’m sure you’ll prove their decision to leave you behind to be a poorly made one.” The man nodded at her suggestion, “That would be fine. If I’m not available, my Flock will be able to provide some partners, or Old Nan can tell you when I should be back next, or explain what the circumstances may be.” Some of his plans would require an extended absence from the city, and the mission he was pondering wasn’t something to be hand waved either. There had to be a reason that it was no listed, hidden away from the normal way things were done.

When the girl offered to contact her if He needed help with anything Kyo gave her a slight smile and a nod, “I’m appreciative of the offer.” He pondered a moment before adding, “If you wish, I can accompany on your first mission in an advisory capacity.” He gave a slight shrug, it would allow him to observe her in the field if she was willing, giving him a better feel for what training she needed, and what she could provide him. It wasn’t that unusual to have a higher ranked nin accompany a lower ranked one on a mission in a similar role, though usually this was done by a team leader or someone similar. Kyo was once more distracted by a young boy entering the warehouse and rushing over, Kyo would kneel down and listen to the hurried whispers before nodding and stating simply, “Go see Old Nan.” The boy gave an excited yip and hurried into the back happily. He would emerge from with in a few moments, with a slight jingle accompanying his steps and a large pastry in his hands, a big smile plastered on his face, when he saw Aya seemingly for the first time his cheeks flushed red and he quickly wiped the look from his face, turned and gave Kyo a small bow before hurrying back out the way he had come.

Re: Another Day in The Neighborhood [Tutor For Aya]

Aya blinked, she didn't know it could be traumatizing. But she knew it was something she could live without if she ever lost it. She'd done it before, though it could be extremely painful, it wouldn't be the loss of the chakra that'd be traumatizing to her, it'd be the pain most likely. He was right about being reliant on the branches. "Yes, I don't plan on becoming too reliant." She stated with a nod, she didn't want to get attached to anything really, but she was still loyal to the village.

Aya noticed he was tracing the scar on his neck, and then a look of sadness when he spoke, she nodded. She understood that, a few people she trusted and looked at as family had died, or just disappeared. She knew that was going to happen again, and again, it was in the job discription after all. Then the boy who got injured earlier came in, Aya looked towards him as Kyo poked his stitches. He'd continue getting hurt like that if he didn't change how he fought with his team. Those kinds of scares would be nothing to brag about.

Aya nodded to Kyo firmly after his comment. "I graduated at the top of the class... So I know it wasn't lack of skill." Aya said, then she down a little, "Maybe our sensei just forgot about me, he'd taught the other two, and lived with them for much longer..." She stated, this was something that did bother her, it bothers her enough to actually show it. She normally tried hard not to show this, but it was hard."I'll show them I have just as much right to be there." She said, and then looked at Kyo. Realizing she'd been frowning, she'd showed a smile. She didn't want to show weakness, but sometimes it slipped.

Aya blinked as he offered to accompany her, she then smiled and nodded. Her first few missions... he would not be able to accompany her. She planned on doing ANBU related missions, so she'd have to make up something. Or hopefully, he'd just not be around, off doing something else. "I want to try out a few missions by myself, nothing deadly. But I'll remember in the future." She stated with a nod, that was a better plan than lying about it. It wasn't bad to go on a few main branch missions every now and again.

Aya's attention went to a boy who seemed very happy. Aya watched as he left and came back with a pastry. SHe couldn't help but smirk when his face turned red. It was cute, she couldn't help but notice there were a lot of boys here... Maybe boys were more attracted to fighting when they have the choice to learn.

Aya looked at Kyo, and smiled again "I better get going, thank you for teaching me, the gifts, and talking with me today." She said before turning and walking towards the door. She made sure she had the books in her hands, those were something she did not want to forget. Before she went out the door, she waved and showed one last smile. "See ya later!" She called out, and then left the building. She wondered if the place would change even more next time?
