Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

I have decided that I want to train and activate five abilities. Below I will list the name of each ability I am training: for each I will put the required 100 words blurb in a spoiler tag.

Since all of these have being of D rank as a requisite, here is a link to when my request of being promoted to D rank was approved. Also here is a link to my profile if you need it.

Having finally managed to persuade her father Suichiro to stop being lazy and actually teach her something, Mirei embarked in a training regime with the goal of improving her abilities.
The goal of the first training regime was to improve the accuracy of her called shots: for this purpose she activated her recently obtained sharingan, then had her father tie her so that she would hang upside down from a tree. Suichiro then started throwing around small wooden logs: from that uncomfortable position, Mirei had to hit those logs with her shurikens in mid-air. By the third attempt she could reliably hit each logs as it was thrown, and by the fifth she could accurately snipe the center of it.

Elemental Illusion link (me having a minor elemental affinity was approved in the post directly above this one)
The second training regime was about mastering her fire-aligned chakra, which was the pride of the Uchiha clan, so as to learn how to infuse it into not only her elemental ninjutsu techniques, but also in her genjutsu ones, which required a significantly more complex and subtle method. Accomplishing such a goal did not entail any complex gimmick, as nothing could replace sheer practice when it came to such a refined technique: Suichiro simply sat there, as Mirei cast genjutsu after genjutsu upon him. At first being trapped in such illusions merely felt like being under a strong sunlight, but by the sixth attempt he actually started feeling like his skin was burning: that proved that Mirei had finally figured out the trick to it.

Having mastered the art of throwing shurikens accurately, as well as the art of optimizing her casting, the third training regime was about rapidly switching between the two. To this end, Suichiro tied a number of shurikens to the most inconvenient places in Mirei's body, then had her running around the training grounds: the idea was that, at irregular intervals, small wooden logs would either be thrown at her face (requiring her to incinerate them with a fireball to avoid getting hit) or launched up in the air (requiring her to hit them with her shurikens). The irregular nature of this exercise forced Mirei to learn how to quickly sort about the options at her disposal to rapidly determine which one would be most effective in the situation at hand.

For the fourth training regime, Mirei's mother Kotori took over the role of trainer, replacing her husband Suichiro. As an accomplished shinobi (an ANBU, in fact, although Mirei didn't know about that detail) Kotori was exceptionally talented for stealth, so the method she devised to evaluate and train her daughter's own skills in that field was tremendously simple: a round of hide and seek, with Kotori herself as "it". For the sake of spending some time with her, Mirei's younger sister Mizuki was also involved. Mirei soon found out that hiding from her mother was nigh impossible, but eventually Kotori determined that the girl's skills were enough to fool, if not her, at least a normal ninja, and declared the training successfully concluded.

And of course, the fifth and final training regime was identical to the previous one, except this time around Mirei was "it". Between her natural abilities, her recently awakened sharingan and their difference in age and experience, finding her sister Mizuki was easy for Mirei every time, but when it came to Kotori... That was an entirely difficult matter. Times and times again, Mirei had already experienced just how good her mother was as sneaking up on her unnoticed, in fact the two had a bet going on regarding how long it would take for Mirei to finally become capable of reliably spotting Kotori.
Suffices to say, this training was not it: Mirei's skills did improve and she did manage to spot her mother once, but she couldn't shake the feeling she had always managed to do so because Kotori was purposefully going easy on her.

Approved.

So, let's talk items. I would like the three items in my inventory slots to be light armor, headband and headset. As for weapon I'd like to create the following:

Suichiro's lucky shurikens
A set of basic shurikens Mirei got from her father. They aren't actually all that lucky.
Weapon type: Thrown (causes Suppression)
Damage modifier: -10%
Accuracy modifier: +2
Weapon augment: Lucky Dodge

Approved! In the future, it'd be helpful if you could link to your individually purchased augments instead- in your (on-site) inventory, you can right-click/tap and hold on the names of items to copy their links.

Ok so. Because I am now C rank (as approved here), a few things happen:

1) I get Shinobi 101 for free, which I declare as being "ranged taijutsu now uses ninjutsu accuracy"

2) My pre-existing minor elemental affinity for Fire now becomes a major elemental affinity, and I get a new minor elemental affinity, for which I choose Non-Elemental

3) I also spent 50 ASP to buy yet another minor elemental affinity, for which I choose Water

4) The above also mean that I now qualify for learning Scorch (Fire major + Non-Elemental minor) and Shadow (Fire major + Water minor) jutsus

Because I am now at C rank, I am entitled to two additional abilities. Below are the required 100 words roleplays.

It took a lot of begging on Mirei's part, to get her father Suichiro to actually get off his armchair and train her in the ways of genjutsu. For reasons the young genin had never been able to fully grasp, her father always seemed very cagey, when it came to teaching her about the illusory arts: however, by explaining that she was going to have a serious duel with a guy who had badmouthed the Uchiha clan, Mirei was finally able to persuade him.
The training itself was the most straightforward thing in the world: her father cast all manners of layered illusions on her, and Mirei had to break out of them. She was a bit disappointed because he never once used his Mangekyou Sharingan, the ultimate ability of her clan which Mirei knew her father had, but had never been able to get him to show her, but at least the basic goal was accomplished.

Fire Chakra Style link
The idea was as simple as it sounded: Mirei was talented at dishing out fire elemental damage, in fact she was displaying more talent and more attitude for that than the average member of the Uchiha clan. So the idea was that she was going to master a specific way of casting her ninjutsu techniques, which would allow her to dish out even more fire elemental damage. It wasn't just about making bigger fireballs: she had to ensure they would burn hotter, they would travel further, they would be harder to put out. For days on end, Mirei poured her chakra in intense training regimens designed specifically to improve her control over such aspects... Which inevitably resulted in her accidentally setting the training grounds on fire, which could have ended very badly for the entire village, considering that the training grounds were in the middle of a forest. Thankfully Mirei's mother Kotori, a master of the water element, was secretly keeping an eye on her, and was able to prevent the worst.

I would also like to create a new weapon, which will replace my previous one as my equipped weapon.

Suichiro's lucky shurikens MK2
A set of basic shurikens Mirei's father reworked to better fit her fighting style. They actually do something completely different when compared to the old model, but Suichiro was too lazy to come up with a new name.
Weapon type: Thrown (can cast ninjutsu when holding this weapon)
Damage modifier: -10%
Accuracy modifier: +2
Weapon augments: Primal and Daze
