Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
A light breeze was blowing when Juko left through the small door hidden behind one of the giant trees making the young boy shiver temporarily. Ah boy, one really forgets how it sometimes gets outside when you spend to much time down there... Closing the metal door and re-setting the safety mechanism Juko turned around and took a glance into the gloomy darkness of the forest of death. Sure is dark in there.. i am so glad that we did not have any exams in there like some of the older generations are supposed to have had. Id rather not get lost in between those huge trees and whoknowswhat whatver is running around in those deep shadows. Another shiver came upon him, this time however it had a different reason than the temparature.
His memories went back to when he had left the village in the company of Takeshi. Well, technically it was the other way around, iw as accompanying Takeshi... yeah, well, anyway... He still remembered walking through those dark and wet corridors and the following "adventure" in the crypts. Ina and Ena huh... His hand moved back to the two summoning scrolls that were hanging from his belt and carefully touched the cap holding it rolled together. Heh...hehehe...hehehehe Excitement flooded him once more as he thought about the content and with bold and overexaggerated movements he found himself going through the moves that he had used against the zombies once more.
Followed by the mysterious sounds of a mighty anbu in training he slowly walked through the undergrowth towards the path that led out of the forest. Whoosh! Nyuuum! Zzzzhing! Whoosh whoosh WHOOSH! He jumped at one of the nearby trees and kicked the bark. Hiyaaaiiiiuhh!! Shit! With a painful slam his foot hit the giant trunk and he yelped as all of his enthusiasm suddenly turned sour. In the background an owl silently yet gleefully hooted.
The young seikon teen wiped a single tear from his left eye and shook his fist towards the empty space where he assumed the annoying bird to sit.
"Tsk… Tsk.. Tsk…” a voice from behind Juko spoke, a dark menacing figure slowly approaching the boy who wasn't too graceful in jumping off a mere branch. Fading in from the darkness, stood a man, a dark man. From the way he dressed to his hair, everything about this man seemed dark. Blowing smoke from the cigarette he had in his mouth, Juko realized that the man with the sinister aura was MARU! His teammate! Or so it had seemed at the time. "It seems that you're still that failure you were back in the academy, hm?” The dark puppetmaster chuckled, then strolled closer with his hands behind his back.
Although Maru seemed threatening, he had actually had something important he would like to speak to Juko about. It's about their team, and his future in the ANBU. "Well as much as I want to shoot you a few insults, I got some good news for you and some bad news.” Maru stated, reaching his hand to his mouth he took out the cigarette from his mouth to thump ashes to the ground, exhaling purple smoke. "Which do you wanna hear first? Because it involves you and our team.” He didn't get straight to the point, placing the cigarette back in his mouth he reached in his coat, searching for a piece of paper in which he found. Holding the paper in his gloved hand like a trophy.
"Think you can handle it Blondie?” Maru asked, his eyebrow stretching up on his plastic face. Unsure of how Juko would react to the news.
Juko flinched then froze right in the middle of his gesture and slowly turned towards Maru. His jaw was clearly working as he tried to reach for the right words. Shit. Of course this has had to happen now of all times. Gee, can i not even catch a break from him every now and then?How weird, i was about to say the same to you. He lowered his fist and dusted himself off for a moment. Seems to me like you still have that tendency to appear where noone wants you to be. Heh, that one coooould have been a bit beter Juko... Smirking at the blackclothed Shinobi Juko put his weight on his other leg to lessen the stinging pain that was shooting up his leg. Good and bad news? Oh my, i wonder, are you perhaps about to leave us? Maybe even forever? And the bad news, let me think... perhaps i am the one who has to throw the farewell party? Juko laughed and crossed the arms in front of his chest, waving lightly with his left hand to get rid of the purple smoke wafting over to him. That smells so so bad... i wonder just what he is smoking over there... Whatever it was that Maru had to proclaim to Juko, the young Seikon was sure even the good news would end up being bad news for him. Maru wasnt exactly known for the good news he spread. As much as id like him to leave the village, i honestly doubt hed come by just to tell me that... he must have another reason for annoying me here like that.
Juko's body tensed up as he realized something was amiss. His eyes quickly scanned the man standing in front of him followed by the trees where Maru had come from and the area surrounding them. Weird, i cannot see his usual puppet anywhere nearby... truth be told, i havent seen the puppet since our fight with Yukio but still, i didnt think it was that damaged... Has... Yukio sent you? Or is this something private between us?
Maru gave a small chuckle at Juko’s snappy comment, it seemed like he had a little bit of something to prove but he'll get that opportunity on how he'll be able to do that in just a moment. “No, no ,no.”Maru waved his hand dismissively. “Yukio didn't send me, I decided to come here on my own because it seems to me Yukio wasn't planning on telling you. So I've decided, as a teammates, that I should tell you the news about our team.” He puffed out purple smoke from his nose, he might as well start with the good news since he people in general didn't like to hear about the bad. Besides it wouldn't have as much bite if he told him the bad news right away.
"The good news that everyone in our team got promoted. Yukio is a captain now, our former captain is now ANBU Senin and one of us got the position as a full ANBU. However one of us got left behind and transferred to a new team.” Maru paused for a moment, then handed Juko the paper when opened it would say as clear as day;

Due to the recent promotions of your team members it seems that you are now without a team, your new Team leader is Kodoma Yoshihisa and your fellow teammates is Uchiha Hana. You are to report to your new team for a little meet and greet now that team alpha is no more. Once you prove yourself, you may be given an opportunity to get a promotion to full ANBU and earn your place in the branch.

Maru smirked. “Wrote it myself! Yeah you got left behind pal but normally I'll just laugh at you and tell you that you failed but I'm going to offer you a chance to prove yourself. “ He took a step closer, Juko would notice that Maru suddenly changed from a snob that came to gloat to something more macabre. What was he planning on doing?
"Perhaps we can make a deal, after all you feel cheated don't you?” He said, a strange darkness in his voice almost made him sound like the boy was about to make a deal with the devil. The dark puppet master tilted his head to one side, letting several moments pass on before he began again. "If you defeat me, right here and right now I'll take to the good Senin about promoting you. Since you would have defeated someone with the title of being a chunin I think you'll prove to Takeshi that you're good enough to get the title of ANBU and my promotion was completely ridiculous.” Maru threw his hands up, then shrugs. "How about it Gassy. You want to have a trail by fire to prove that you're ready?”
Juko felt a single drop of sweat go down his neck as he cautiously watched Maru waving his sentences away like he was shooing off small birds. Yukio wasnt planning on telling me... what now? The young Seikon's eyes narrowed as he watched the lazy smoke slowly being pushed this and that way by the wind. He felt as if Maru was taking his time on purpose, simply to annoy Juko even further. And where is that damn toy of his... what a disgusting guy. Now that he has taken up smoking he smells even worse than before... Thinking badly about Maru somewhat managed to raise Juko's spirits, albeit only by a little. Wh..what? Maru's statement caught Juko off guard. Everyones got.... oooh... As Maru continued to explain the "news" to him, Juko slowly began realizing what this would all be about. Either this is one big joke... or he came to gloat. But, why wouldnt Yukio tell me anything about this? They cant just dissolve the team like that, can they? Not without telling me? Meaning its gotta be one of his stupid jokes... A new Team, huh? With two swift steps Juko covered the distance between the two shinobi and whipped the small piece of paper out of Maru's gloved hand. It took him but a few seconds to read through the paper before he closed his eyes for a second. Yer going to great lengths just for this Joke, Maru... It felt as if his whole body had gone static and his hair seemed almost to ruffle up lightly. With his hand Juko clumpled the paper and dropped it carelessly to the forest floor. You little... you better not toying with me... no.. wait... this better be one of your sick jokes... oh fuck... ill let you have it...
Maru came one step closer, almost close enough for Juko to stick his hand down his throat and rip out the blackhaired boys tongue. Oh and how nice that would be, wouldnt it just? Not having to listen to you blabbering on anymore?
Juko couldnt bring himself to smile, instead his mouth corner merely twitched. A.. Deal? I cant believe hes actually saying this... So.. just to get things straight... your asking me to wipe the floor with your face? Maru, did you perhaps swap your brains for a brickstone? I know youve been keen on getting punched in the face waaay earlier, but really, you couldve just asked... Despite trying hard to get back his cool and his trademark smile Juko could not force himself into his usual laidback state. He felt his teeth grinding against each other and his nerves felt like they were on the verge of snapping. What a shitty day this is...
One last check told him that noone seemed to be close to them, which made the whole situation even weirder. The Maru he knew would have never dared to do this kind of challenge all by himself. Gassy...you fucker... come, bring it on! Ill make sure to send you back to Takeshi in nice little pieces, you Jackass-in-a-Box! His hair finally bristled making it seem as if his face was framed by golden flames and even his usually dark eyes seemed to light up and show their yellow color for once.

+ Place the AP of your jutsu in your actions (makes things easier for me)
+ If there are anything that might modify your actions -- such as if you have +25% ninjutsu damage and you're doing a ninjutsu, stating it there will help me remember those buffs.
+ Make your actions clear and concise -- a wall of text makes it hard to read your actions even if you are comboing.
+ Keep your conditionals in mind. Only things you'd know IC can be used as conditionals.
+ You have exactly 48 hours to submit an RP and send actions. Failure to do this will result in being placed in Defensive Mode and doing nothing else. (other than smart actions)

Maru grinned, he was downright satisfied with the response that his former teammate had given him. He had confidence that he'd prove that he was better than Maru, which was exactly what the dark puppet master wanted to see. He took his cigarette out of his mouth, then flicked it away from him. Taking in each word that the trainee had to say to him before finally he replied. "You seem pretty confident Gassy, looks like you're taking my deal after all.” Maru said, allowing the darkness from his core to begin to build up. The night suddenly slowly began to grow silent, very silent. No wind past by. The sounds of crickets stopped. And the shadows began to grow ten shades darker.
Maru stood there, his demonic aura cloaking his body almost made him look even more demonic. He decided that his normal puppet, Kawaii, won't do the trick in showing the boy the power of darkness. So he decided to use a puppet he's been saving for a real fight. “It seems that you are confident you'll be able to win, I sure hope you actually pose a challenge to prove you're worth giving a chance to prove yourself. “ His face now held a grim expression, reaching for his weapons pouch it was time to show off his real weapon at his disposal. There won't be any holding back against the boy either, it was time to see how strong his darkness has really became since his last meeting with this boy. When he was of the flesh, he wasn't as physically strong as Juko but now that his darkness is strengthened and his body stronger he wondered just how long Juko would last.
Maru had pulled out an ebony scroll, then held it out in front of him. "Well allow me to show you when I talk about the darkness. Now that you accept my challenge I'm going use my darkness to tear force you on your knees.” With a puff of black smoke, Maru summoned “it.” The doll was a woman, a woman wearing a pitch black cloak of darkness, her hood covering most of her face for the exception of her ghostly pale mouth. Maru making his doll float with grace behind him, then reached her pale dolls hands out to hold onto her master's shoulders while seemingly staring right at Juko. Maru raised his hand up to touch the cheek of his new companion that remained silent and mute. “This is Karasu, Mother of Darkness, made her from… organic materials in order to gain more of the darkness. Your light will fade and you will return to the darkness!” Maru chuckled to himself, his expression a bit crazed.
"Behold the endless abyss!!” from the sound of that will Juko conquer the darkness or will the darkness consume him?
Grinding his teeth Juko widened his stance. The forest all around the two shinobi suddenly didnt seem as loud as before and even though Juko was concentrating on Maru he managed to notice how the natural noises of the green were suddenly becoming silent around them. I guess thats just right... this is not a fight between Students anymore. This wont stop at some shuriken hitting the trees and a few bruises... It is time to show off all that weve learned. His body tensed and Juko could feel muscles rebel against this unusual exercise. Che, going all out sure feels different in real life than it does in training.. Despite his thoughts suggesting otherwise a kunai appeared in his hands, ready to strike or deflect any surprise attacks when he saw Maru reach for a small scroll.
With a certain consideration Juko noticed how Maru's eyes seemed to glow a dark red. He doesnt have the sharingan does he? No, and what if he does. Thatll just mean i have to move even faster than that! Anticipation miced with adrenaline and suddenly Juko felt almost as light as a feather, his whole body just aching to take off and fly towards his opponent like a loose arrow. Organic... Materials? Maru you sick... does Yukio know what youve been up to? Does Takeshi? Were supposed to Defend the people of this village, NOT turn them into toys! He breathed in sharply. But you know what. That all doesnt matter anymore. I will be your judge. I will be your Executioner! ORAAAAA

- Maru's actions couldn't be completed due to entering the stance costing 0.5 AP. This, in turn, made his actions take over 10s and cost over his 8 AP

- In reference to Shadow Dimension -- Due to the puppet being considered as a weapon (and thus an extension of the user) the User was pulled into the Shadow Dimension as well. Leaving JUST the puppet it would have Shadow Dimension be pulled off but dissipate at the end of the round as the user couldn't control the puppet (and lose connection to the puppet) thus disallowing the maintain of the jutsu -- making it go away when it's time to pay maintenance costs (Ask Admin if there are any complaints about this ruling)
- Karasu is not a valid target for a jutsu as it is considered a weapon. This is why Scalding Ash Cloud didn't target Karasu.
- I also require the special function of each of Maru's puppets
- If Maru wishes to obtain an offensive or defensive puppet style, he will be required to follow the rules on changing Styles. As of now, since nothing was indicated on what style in puppet style to go into, Maru was just placed into puppet style blank.

The fight began, Maru made an attempt to make Juko cower in fear with his aura of doom which had no effects on him, giving the trainee a chance to strike at the dark puppetmaster’s hands in a little cheap shot. Then there were some kind of strange invisible force that tried to push the puppetmaster back but he remained strong standing against it. Then it came Maru's turn to show what he meant by the endless abyss…. From the Puppet cloaked in the shadows drew forth all darkness in the area to the itself, the world around the two warriors began to turn black. There was no moon, no stars, no light. Completely isolated from the outside world, Maru had made a haven of darkness for himself and a hellish world that wanted to devour those deemed to be Maru's enemy. Inky hands reaching out to Juko, wanting to drag him deeper into this world but somehow Maru kept them from doing so. “You made a mistake trying to battle me in the darkness!” Maru gloated, cigarette smoke puffing out of his nose. "You picked a perfect time where my power is at its peak. If you have a trump card of some kind, now would be a good time to use it.”
With that the second attack came… Smoke! He attempted to hide himself in the smoke, but this wasn't just any smoke. This cloud had burning chakra stored inside, working as both offensive and defense for the boy. Maru decided to call another friend of his who dwelled in the darkness, pulling up the sleeve of his arm he revealed a tattoo that contained the Japanese character for evil. Channeling his cursed Chakra to summon his dark creature!

Behind Maru was a shadowy specter, wearing various degree of armored on his muscular upper body ranging from dark blue to red from the blood of the innocent. His shadowed face and or any breathing means seem to also be hidden by his dark armor. He had no legs, just a tail similar to the typical ghost. The dark spector took one look at Juko, then laughing darkly. considered “You brought more souls to the darkness. I've taught you well summoner…” the specter said, scanning the area. Maru snapped his fingers, now prepared to go on the offensive. The dark puppet master felt the shadows twisting around him, Maru raised his hands allowing the darkness to empower him."SUPREME DARKNESS!"
Juko felt the world around him slow to a crawl at roughly the same moment as a wave of pure.... unease washed over him. Leaves and gravel that were between him and Maru got whipped up in the air and started moving side to side as if stuck between to conflicting forces before eventually drifting slowly towards Maru. The anbu in training smirked at this first invisible exchange of forces and fell into motion, sprinting on the forest trail towards his opponent. His senses felt strained, yet he managed to throw a quick swipe with the kunai at Maru's hands, but the damage didnt seem to be very severe. Tch! Just in case of a possible counter he ducked and, upon noticing no such thing, jumped backwards. Both of his hands were stretched forward, palms facing the puppeteer and the weird, eery doll at his side and an invisible wall of chakra left his body, charging the black-clothed pair. You will regret facing off against...
Jukos thoughts stopped as he saw his kinetic force dissipate before Maru, breaking into invisible fragments that hit the trees behind the man like mislead punches. Wooden splinters rained on the two combatants and dissolved in the absolute darkness that suddenly rushed out from Juko's opponent. What the..! Throwing his kunai into the approaching shadows simply by reflex Juko tried escaping but the black... nothingness enveloped him withhin moments. He tried reaching for the closest tree and found himself sprinting several meter into the direction of where the next nearest trunk should have been. Nothing!? How can that be? That stupid oak had been here just fucking moments ago! Like a blind man Juko began fumbling about before a giggling voide reached him from somewhere behind him. Juko turned around and in the darkness, basically still the same distance away from him as before he started moving about in the darkness, he saw the glimmering spark of a zigarette, hovering somewhere midair like a lost firefly. You crazy.... what is this... stuff? Are you to ashamed of your own face to fight me on open grounds now? Or is this just a trick of yours to help you escape?! The young boys blonde mane seemed like a living pyre in the pure shadow that surrounded them and with a silent growl Juko began forming handseals. Fight fire with fire and darkness... He finished the signs and breathed harshly through the circle made from his index finger and thumb. with darkness!
A dark cloud, basically invisible but for the occasional spark carried along rushed out and towards the hovering zigarette. Im not letting you get away so easily!
Juko began charging more chakra into his body and his arms. Whatever Maru was preparing, there in his dark hole, he would soon find out that to win against Juko hed need more than just some shadowplay.
- I'm going to need you to link the stuff you're doing next round Maru. It'll make the mod go by SO much faster if everything is linked.
- Maru, you need to indicate WHICH offensive puppet style you want to take.
- Needle Shower only gets 1 chance to cause bleeding so there were no more rolls made afterward.
- Juko lost duelist for targeting Yami. Yami is a summon and therefore counts as a separate entity.
- Made a couple corrections due to missing a few things.

Maru again flared up his demonic aura to cause the trainee to become uneasy but to no avail, the smoke had continued to burn him causing his arm to begin to melt away some of the plastic within the heated chakra which began to drip to the ground like sweat. However this wouldn't be seen because Maru was barely visible in this inky black abyss. "This place is the realm of shadows, a ultimate technique of the Nara in my possession.” As Maru spoke, the shades quick extended towards Juko, inky spikes tearing at his clothes and scratched at his flesh. "The darkness seems to have deemed you an enemy, tough luck.” The dark puppet master threw his head back and laughed.
The boy attempted to leave the darkness, but ebony spikes blocked his way, did he really think he'll be able to just walk away from the darkness. Juko again attempted to strike Maru's hands, which missed, then Maru responded by uses Kinetic Justu to attack him which missed but it did cause the earth to suddenly explode. Juko channeled his Chakra into the the air to create multiple currents of razor sharp winds to attempted to slice at his body, but somehow the justu seemingly blew up in front of the dark puppeteer causing it to strike everywhere! Maru backed up, some of the winds began slicing at him however he didn't bleed as he would have done when he was of the flesh. The damage wasn't as bad, and because of the wind it blew that hazorduz smoke away that had been messing up his form. Yami began to weave handsigns, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike… the dimness of the dome began to darken. "Keep him busy while I summon more darkness. “ Yami said, then Maru blasted Juko with another blast of kinetic Chakra, direct hit! No, Juko poofed then turned into a log with some strange tag hanging from it. Little did he know was that Juko had been behind him preparing a storm of wind blades that he sent flying his way! There were six in total aimed at both him and his contract creature, the managed to avoid three of the shurikens but the other three struck them. Maru managing to deflect one, then he snatched at his chakra threads to whip Karasu in front of him.
From her cloak of darkness she fired a Valley of needles, shooting 1080 needles in total but only 516 actually got him which caused the lad to bleed, needles suck out from Juko’s body. Yami finally was ready and he summoned three pillars of darkness to attempt to impale the boy, but he was too quick. All three missing their target. Between the shadows dimension and the justu that Yami had just performed, the darkness will grow strong and continued to attack Juko. But now Maru had an idea. "Yami break his will, tear his mind to bloody pieces.” Maru commanded, then Yami noded. Now it was time to break out the big guns.
The darkness felt like more than just a veil before Juko's eyes. The blackness was palpable in a way that felt almost suffocating to the young boy and he could feel his concentration wavering as well as life leaving his body. He shook his body violently to regain control of himself but a lingering headache slowly crept into his head, barely noticable under the strain of the fight yet clearly persisting. In addition to that he could feel himself be assailed by the same wave of uneasiness that he had felt before, clearly another one of Maru's tricks. Black, black, its all black. Its like ive fallen asleep but my body is still moving around... Suddenly he heard Maru's voice pierce the shadows and explaining the jutsu to him. Well, less explaining and more bragging id say... In your possession you say?? You didnt really crazy this... this... thing from a living member of our village did you!? The village we were supposed to protect! Screw the darkness, it will be lucky to get a wet corner to throw its shadow to once im done with you! This was not what Juko had expected from the Anbu, not at all. They werent that far away from the foundation and yet, here he was, fighting another member of their group, another member of his squad, Even if that very same squad has been abolished just a while ago..., and even another member of his past class. This is not what i wanted when i became a Ninja... this... is the opposite of what i wanted! This is precisely what i wanted to fight against!
The thought empowered him and with a howl he charged towards where he assumed the border of the inky realm to be but after a few steps already he felt the ground move and stopped just in time to evade the dark spikes that erupted from equally black floor. But... It seemed to Juko as if all of his thinking was slowing down, almost to the point of ceasing as his body moved on his own. Responding to... a feeling, a hunch, maybe not even more than a guess he twisted on the spot and kicked to the side. He could feel the body dodging backwards, just in time for Juko's move to miss and was then rudely greeted by an explosion of debris where he had just stood a moment ago. Stones and dust flew through the air, invisible in the darkness but for the moments when one of them hit Juko. Shit! Just began forming fingerseals to counter the attack but the patterns melted into another jutsu in his mind and suddenly he could feel the chakra coilling as it was pulled twoways. Before he could do much more than guide the chakra away from himself the attack exploded as wild streams of air escaped into every direction like snakes that had been released from many years of prison. More of the ground exploded and Juko could feel part of his hoodie beeing torn away leaving his left arm bare.
A vibration in the air reached Juko's ears, to orderly to belong to the explosions and flying stones and with a dropping feeling in his gut he realized that he and Maru werent alone. I knew it, hes got more people helping him out! This is not a duel anymore, this is an ambush!! Blood ran from his gums, thats how tightly he was clenching his teeth as he dodged another of his own windgusts. Again his gut revolted, and suddenly Juko felt a wave of pure kinetic force roll against him, fierce enough to crush his bones should he stay where he was. Luckily i do not plan to stay where i am...
Releasing his karma like a tense rubber band Juko simply vanished as his body left the same reality that the attack had occured in. His vision suddenly raced forward and without a warning he found himself standing behind Maru and another shadowy person. Vertigo rose in the blonde haired boy and he hurried to press his own attack forward before his body would succumb to the feeling of weakness. A single chakra orb had formed in his right hand and with pure force of will he forced the orb to spin faster, fast enough for it to flatten slowly before it eventually ripped in the middle and created an almost donut shaped form.
The edges slowly flattened even more to the point that the donut resembled a chakram more than anything. Shit! This is not good, this is to much! The orb started wobbling violently as Juko lost control over his jutsu and barely managed to direct the exploding ring of chakra towards Maru and his partner.
The flash as the chakra dissipated blinded him temporarily and before he could regain his vision he felt a multitude of stinging. AGHHH!! Juko felt his hands numbing as several sharp objects lodged in them as he attempted to dodge the invisible attack. His intuition saved him from another attack as the trainee jumped sideways, barely dodging another cascade of shadows from impaling him. Oh no, you dont!
The next jutsu he had never actually used before but Juko just hoped that this would surprise Maru as much as himself as he took aim at the shadow creature next to Maru. This.. isnt even a real person? Either someone decided to transform to fit Maru's taste or this is nothing more than another summoned jutsu by Maru! Anyway, i have to try! He could feel his chakra flowing as he bombarded the weird being with his jutsu.
Unfortunately for him however he could not put enough power in it so that the actual damage turned out to be almost miniscule.

To... many things... at the same time... Juko could feel his thoughts slowing due to the exhaustion. He saw the darkness tense just a moment before the attack would come but his body failed to react to it. The spikes of darkness struck their mark and pain lanced through Juko's body. ArghhH! Blood sprayed from the numerous holes of the last attack and as Juko moved his hands towards the part of his body that had been hit he pulled out one of the needles that somehad gotten stuck in his flesh. Needles it is... huh... Most of his previously black clothing had been either ripped to shreds or colored red by all of the blood at this point but Juko was determined not to let this be another one Maru's wins. Another? Pah.... more like... the first one! Pulling himself back into a passable Battle Stance Juko began gathering Chakra. Now this is weird...? He felt something akin to a distruption in his chakra system, a light feeling of pressure to his ears and far to subtle for him to dispel it. I see... so this is how you want to play this, Maru-boy? The young seikon reached out, trying to find his balance but the darkness around him showed itself to be rather deceptive and thus his hand groped for nothing but empty air. As a result he felt his legs, especially the right one which had been hit the worst in the most recent attacks, go limp and unable to hold his body any longer. Almost in slowmotion his body tilted towards the body, ready to embrace the earthy floor.

The very same foot that was just about to trip the body it was supposed to support now slammed into the ground. I will not surrender. Never, you hear that Maru? NEVER. He threw the Needle he had plucked from his body roughly towards where he suspected Maru was hiding as Chakra flooded his Interior, boiling almost like blood could do under the right circumstances. Invisible in the darkness, stones lifted from the ground and began levitating around Juko as if hanging frozen in anticipation. NEVER
A loud bang, like a sonic boom followed by a wave of raw kinetic energy sprung into life, originating at Juko's position. The ground flattened first then dented inward as the jutsu raced towards Maru. In the Darkness before him Juko could shortly see the glimmer of flames, striking the fake nightsky for a moment before dissolving again. You thought this a match, a duel, just for your own fun Maru..., but this is more... i will not let go of my Belief and i am sure as fuck not going to let you keep yours...The real fight, starts NOW.
All the while he had said this Juko gathered his Karma. He knew that Maru could see him well enough and he knew that the puppeteer would not let this opportunity pass over him that easily. So transparent... so easy to foresee...
He felt the shadows move without even seeing them and as the wire-like appendages struck for him, piercing the body of his After-Image, Juko had already moved to the opposite site of their dark prison. Even now Maru was hardly visible and his companion even less so but to the blonde Anbu in training his was enough for now. Releasing his inner energy Juko flickered from side to side, homing in on his opponent with every strike. Half of the attacks didnt connect but the other half Juko felt hitting on what seemed to be the enemy. Was there some crunching just now? I hope that hurt Maru... i really do...
Taking the velocity of his move into account Juko continued moving even after his initial attack had finished. I cant allow him to hit me any more... need to replenish my strength!
The surrounding had seemingly turned against this blonde trainee, the darkness coming from the roof of the dome struck the boy while the shades itself produced by this world filled with darkness continued to attack the boy again and again. A smirk came to the dark puppet masters cheeks, then Juko came right at him attempting to strike at his hands again which misses, then the trainee blasted him again with Kinetic Justu which got the dark puppet master! “Hmph." Maru huffed, loosing his cigarette within the blast only this time Maru whipped his puppet in front of him, inky hands came from the robe of darkness then shot flames around the area setting it ablaze! The reflection of the flames shown in Maru's cold glass like eyes as he watched the attack miss.
For a moment the two stood there, the dark puppet master glaring at the boy as he began to say his little heart filled speech on how he'd never surrender, and how he won't give up on what he believes in. Maru allowed his hatred to fester, grow, and now it consumed him in a single moment. “Since you are determined on making this a real fight then you won't be leaving here with only a few cuts and bruises.” Maru gave a smile of a maniac to Juko, hateful aura began to consume every fiber of his body. “I'm going to send you to the hospital as a cripple. You'll lose both your right hand and your eye for that little never give up crap. You want a real fight?....” Maru cloaked in darkness began glared at the trainee now releasing his true self. “You just got one.”
After this the air about Maru seemed to have changed, there was no smug smile nor any insults. He was now going to his usual fight style which was to fight to kill….

I wanna apologize for forgetting a lot of stuff.

The darkness surrounding Juko was slowly becoming unbearable and he felt as if the heavy shadows were constantly beating on his already tense senses. On the opposite site to him it seemed as if Maru had finally decided to drop his toony villain act and take this fight serious, however in the constant night it was hard for Juko to actually tell. Seems like things will finally get heated now... this might be the perfect opportunity to go for him in a more direct fashion, now that hes about to drop his defenses... Squeezing his eyes the blonde tried to catch a glimpse of the mad puppet player and after a moment started a sequence of finger seals. After finishing a white cloud poofed into existance next to him, like a star flasing bright in the black, and a splitting image of the young Seikon was suddenly following into every of Juko's footsteps. And now...
Unbeknownst to Maru he had been gathering his karma for the past few moments and now released the seikon typical energy in one concentrated quicksilver step. A quit clapping sound could be heard as he vanished from existance and attempted to reappear outside of the perimeter of Maru's shadows. If such a thing even exists... As his body disappeared to step through reality to his new distination Juko found himself met with heavy resistance as the shadows tried to hold him in and pin him to his position and only with some serious effort on his side did he managed to pull through and actually reappear outside of the inky substance instead of back at his initial position. His body shifted into existance on one of the higher branches of a nearby tree, inky shadows following around him in a mansized column as he did so. To his side was his trusty and newly summoned companion. Woha.... that was.. more than weird. Juko shuddered and looked down at the dark dome. Already his body was feeling stronger, as if fresh energy was seeping back into it after he had left Maru's domain. Clearly a fucked up trick... ill have to see to it that you wont get me with it next time... Juko spoke more to himself than to his opponent while he prepared his next steps. Whenever Maru would step out and face him he would find his opponent more than only waiting for him. I remain on guard though... he hasnt shown me everything he can do, of that i am sure... otherwise they surely wouldnt have made him an Anbu...would they? After all he mightve been lying about the whole squad change and promotion bullshit...
After completing his preparations both Juko and his Clone took on more relaxed positions, with one of them squatting on the branch and the other one almost cheerfully standing and leaning against his double, his elbow pressing firmly against the others shoulder. If it werent for the shredded clothing and the douzens of bleeding cuts that the two Juko's had one could almost assume they were twins posing for a family photo.
Maru charged at Juko from the darkness, his dark shadowy summon at his side he was about to go for his heart but he vanished to the other plane of existence. The dark puppeteer smirked, his cursed chakra flaring up dark red chakra threads attached itself to his hands to reattach the loose hands back into their sockets. Probably should have used this ability sooner but who cares, the dark creature at Maru’s side looked over at him. "So what's the plan now summoner..” the dark fiend said to Maru, sensing that he had taken a lot of hits but it wasn't as bad. The problem will come up when he Maru runs out of chakra, but it seemed to Yami that Maru wasn't the least bit interested in a strategy anymore.
"There is no plan a other than hit hard and to keep attacking.”With that Maru had no choice other than to leave this dark place to continue to attack the trainee. This time he was going to fight to kill him… nothing more nothing less.
