B-Mod Notes

Spoiler

- According to the head b-mod, any action repeated that were sent to me (in this case, Sacred Threads of Fate) is to be repeated.
- Juko's Air Clone could not perform a basic strike as clones/creations cannot do a basic strike unless it is stated they can (rules in the UBR)
- Some of Maru's actions couldn't be completed due to it costing too many AP (and the fact that they got suppressed)
- Had wrong number showing on Juko's Cursed dmg counter. The damage dealt at the end of the round was still accurate though.
- Because Energy Transfer uses a check instead of accuracy, it didn't receive the accuracy bonus from sneak attack
- Clones are considered an extension of the user so both the user and the clone go into stealth. if the clone uses an attack while in stealth, this also compromises the user's stealth ability.
- Juko could not heal any HP as that is considered an overheal

 

[Senju Gaki]

From his position high on the branch of a tree Juko and his clone watched the black dome as it wavered this way and that way, similar to black smoke that had solidified on a single location. Suddenly the shadows loosened and then fell apart, flowing into the natural shadows that lay between the trees and underwood of the place. Finally coming out, eh?
Deciding to take on the initiative this time Juko dashed downwards from the tree that he was perched on, like a bird of prey throwing himself against the puppeteer. The dirt and dust on the ground was visible blown into the air when the blonde boy landed before Maru, trying to grasp the mans body with his hands to take in some of the others Chakra but he felt his outstretched hands been blown to the side. Tch! Not so quickly! Despite his tenacity his followup kick was blocked aswell leaving Juko with no other chance but to dodge to the side. While his shadow seemed to dodge to one side his actual body flew to the other, at the same time Chakra enveloped him, stretching like a sheet of a second skin over him and taking on the colors of his environment. Behind him he could feel his Clone being attackted and shortly after he saw that his two explosive seals to Maru's left and right exploded into fullgrown flowers of flame. Hah, yeah thats more like it! Your not getting out of here without some nice burnmarks, Puppet boy!
Through the smoke and the haze Juko could see the silhouette of his target and without hesitation he dashed forward, out of his hideout and straight into Maru's chest where his fist dug into the petite body of his target.
The fight was beginning to heat up now and the young Seikon could feel his body tingling with excitement as he dashed over the battlefield. His clone was following his movements, albeit not as quickly and creating a diversion by bombarding Maru with airbullets, most of which the supposed Anbu managed to deflect back towards Juko somehow.
To the blonde boy it almost seemed as if Maru was having a fiercer fight with his double than with the original Juko himself.

It seemed that while Maru was inside of his dark bubble, the boy had managed to produce a wind clone. However, he had both his ebony nightmarish dragon and his Youkai at his side however it seems like instead of using his puppet to attack him with, he would have to use himself. He used his threads again which seemingly triggered a trap causing an explosion! Some plastic melted away, but it wasn't as if Maru could feel any of it, his Youkai prepared a attack which missed the clone he thought of attacking but the shadow dragon had continue to lash out at both Juko in which it landed a hit against one of his clones.

Maru slung plasma into the air, attempting to burn the boy but he'd later discover that he missed, worst than that he couldn't find the real Juko for a moment. However when he saw his dragon go in for the attack, he spotted that the original Juko was bleeding. Found you… Maru thought as he began to come up with a idea to deal with that clone of his while still swinging at Juko…. By attacking them both. Maru began to concentrate the darkness upon the area. The ground of the area darkens with pure black shadow… Yami prepared his attack from above, while Maru’s ebony nightmare prepared to strike…

Something about Maru's appearance struck Juko as weird. He couldnt quit guess what it was but in one wa or another the sight of Maru and his wounded body greatly disturbed the young shinobi. His mind raced and so did his hands as he weaved the signs for one of the basic anbu jutsus that he had been tought already. A few moments later his body turned transparent, taking on both color and the shadows of the leaves behind him, and at a good time moreso. Just mere moments after his move Maru began a true bombardment of jutsus towards his blonde opponent, shadows and darkness raining down all around Juko, sometimes grazing him, sometimes hitting him, but mostly just ripping into the uneasy body of his wind double.
Yeah, i figured youd have trouble with that Maru.... dont worry, ive got more where that came from. His body flung into motion as Juko attempted to pin a special tag on Maru's body, however somehow his moves didnt quite connect. Only by mere luck did the anbu in training manage to strike at the puppeteers legs, his shin connecting firmly with the shin of his opponent. As he ducked between more attacks and weaved his way through the oncoming darkness Juko saw his clone shoot of a partiular well aimed air bullet, hitting Maru hard enough to apparently deal some actual damage. Yeah! You go boy, more of that!
Deciding to stick to his own words he took aim at his opponent once more.

The battle went on! Maru rose the eight dark tendrils from the ground to strike at Juko and his clone! Juko turned invisible somehow, but his spikes ended up striking the clone he made. Maru dropped his hand then raised it again so the spikes of darkness could strike against, then dropped his hand then rose it again. Some grazed Juko, some hitting him, and most of the darkness hitting his double. A air bullet hit Maru, and he jerked back then darkness began to ran down on Juko and his clone. The shadow dragon always striking at the boy but missing unfortunately, then Maru smirked seeing the boy rush at him again!

He struck his leg, hard hit that connected however there wasn't any screams of pain nor any reaction that showed otherwise. Maru acted as a machine, no expression, no screams, just a need to kill. Maru decided that he'd use himself this time. Activating some mechanizes in his body, with a click! He was ready, one thing he noticed is that Juko may would be able to dodge big attackes that do more damage but he couldn't fully dodge multi hit attacks. Not to mention he was looking a little tired from all those high level Justu. If all went well this next strike would do some damage, and possibly more if he played his cards right. His shadow dragon will continue to attack, Yami prepared his darkness and Maru had another trick up his sleeve.

[Senju Gaki]

Just when Juko had began moving he felt his strength leaving his body. Barely a few steps towards Maru and his ankles seemed already about to give in. Ugh, shit! I cant let this end now just because i get tired... i... His body tensed as the blonde boy carefully opened his chakra pathways. The fight against Maru had been taking his fair toll on him and now that it all seemed to slow down somewhat he could feel every part of his body straining, fighting against his commands to move. ...have... His muscles felt like they were shaking already and Juko knew that his chakra reserves were probably about to be depleted. Squinting he focussed on his opponent. ...to... Somehow the other boy seemed far less exhausted than Juko. And somehow he didnt seem to be bleeding either. Juko lightly bent his knees as he observed the puppeteer, a wave of cold, ghastly air washing over him. His hairs rose all over his body. ..win! His feet dug into the ground as he propelled himself forward, dashing through a dark cloud that appeared like solidified darkness from Maru's partner. Before the Anbu in Question could followt his up with another one of his evil techniques Juko was already on him, pressing both hands shortly against the torso of his opponent. This is weird, i cant feel any flesh or anything like that... but Chakra, i feel that. Thats all i need to care for right now! The chakra that flooded his body, entering through his palms, felt refreshing albeit somewhat alien to him and for a moment Juko allowed himself to close his eyes and take in this feeling of replenished Strength.

As it turned out this was by far the worst time to do so as a sudden strike from another shadowy and surely inhuman apparition burrowed into his flank, breaking his contact with Maru and throwing him cartwheeling into the tree to his left. Agh! Blood sprayed from his mouth and run in several thin tricklets down his lips. Shit! Defend! His arms flew up, still somewhat energized from the recent chakra robbery, just in time for several more senbons that slammed into his defense like a particularly angry hedgehog. Pain crisscrossed his body as several needles stuck to his flesh and his blood projected a very interesting pattern on the forestfloor, the red beads glowing despite the gloom on the green background. Under any other circumstance one might have even be able to see a sort of aestethic beauty in the picture.
At the moment however Juko had little time for that. Howling out loudly he dashed forward, his arms still raised before his body to block any incoming attacks. WhuoooooaAAA! Juko felt himself crashing into his opponent and was hoping that Maru would too get to feel some of his own senbons. It would certainly serve you right, you creepy demon wannabe...
As the blonde boy dropped his guard, some of the last scraps that had previously been a wonderful black hoodie flew off into the shadows, released by the sudden motion of Juko's fist rushing towards Maru's head. To the trainee's bad luck however Maru's head had apparently decided to disappear aswell and suddenly feeling very stupid Juko stared momentarily at his fist, hovering in empty air. Oh fuck, theres more com...
Pain spread from his side as he was peltered with more and more senbons, each one tearing open his flesh and releasing a thin spray of blood. Tch...
Feeling like a porcupine and probably looking more like a pincushion Juko turned towards the puppeteer. He sure can maneveur when the need arises huh... to bad none of this can actually bring me down just like that! Feeding on the stolen Chakra Juko moved forward once again, feeling like a stone that was fighting against the ever oncoming rush of raindrops. Bloody droplets were spread throughout the whole place, leaving the path that the young ninja had taken in plain sight. Despite feeling fresh Juko could see that fatigue had already taken heavy roots in his body, his arms moved slow and his kicks barely managed to graze their target. Fortunately for him though this also counted for the black figure that was aiding Maru in his fight.

He clenched his teeth and went for a move that no other sane person would ever attempt. His head suddenly rocked forward, slamming against that of Maru in an almost desperate attempt to deal some dmg. OucH! Shit, what is his head made of, iron? That hurt quite a lot more than it should! All those heavy thoughts mustve made your head to thick to think! Eh? The boy looked up, and almost had a heartattack that wouldve finished the fight before its due time. Maru's face was split. However not split in the common way when someone headbuts you but rather as if someone had taken his skin and pulled it apart in every direction, revealing a... skeleton like construction underneath. More needles perforated the boy before he could even follow that train of thought and once more Juko decided to ignore the continous bleeding and push forward. Boundaries are for weaklings after all! It doesnt watter what weird thing hes trying to pull again...i wont stop!
By this point most of the pain seemed to have vanished, a weird inertia spreading throughout his body instead. Heh, dont think...ill... ill let you away like that! He found himself coughing towards the puppet leader. Comeon now Juko, this isnt you. Youve fought Yukio, youve been in dark dungeons with Takeshi and youve seen things that not many other people can claim to have witnessed... your not going to give up just because your slightly perforated, are you?
No.
I am not giving up!! More and more needles pierced his skin, most already clattering against kin that already had found a place in his flesh. His thoughts were beginning to blank out now yet somehow his body kept on moving. Juko felt like a machine. A machine fighting Man... or atleast something manlike? So weird, considering hes the one using puppets... His legs started moving, pushing against the broken and blackened ground with unthinking stolidity while his arms simply grinded against each other, ripping out or breaking off needles enmasse in the process.
Not yet... Karma started gathering in Juko's extremities, as he prepared to quicksilver step into melee range once more. If i try to shoot more jutsus from a range against him i will probably drop to the ground before even one of them hits their mark.. When his instinct told him that more attacks were already coming his Way he changed his mind to instead move to the side of the battlefield, escaping temporarily behind a thick tree. His air clone was meanwhile ripped to shreds at his spot. Shit, i need to find an opening in his moves... i need to get close otherwise this will be over very very soon. The young seikon looked down at his body, red blood seeping from a multitude of wounds and dropping on dry leaves and dead branches. Like red little gems...shit, im getting distracted already... i need to get this over with fast... For a moment Juko felt as ive watched, as if there more people than just him and Maru in this particular part of the forest. Juko you idiot, there ARE more people... well beings here. Marus got his friends remember? He facepalmed and suppressed a quiet sound of pain as one needle pierced into his forehead. Right right... we talking to ourselfs now, are we Juko? Sheeesh, i need to get this done with and get me a bath and a nice girl to take care of me.... Spitting out some blood from his mouth Juko unrolled a scroll that had been waiting placidly in its holder on his back. The white seal immidiately blew up in a small white cloud which then revealed a shining white weapon, almost entirely straight and with a grip in the middle from which two blades pointed in opposite directions. As soon as Juko touched the hilt he felt vigor flowing back into his arm and he could swear that even some color was returning to his dirty and dusty skin. I guess ill have to thank Ina at some point for this...but first... Maru. The blade, leaving his hand, did a tranquil rotation in the air before returning into his grip again and Juko smiled, feeling as if this was the first time in years. Seems to be working just fine... i wonder what its made off and maybe...no, dont get distracted again stupid!
One last breather entered his lungs, filling his body with the stale and dusty air of a beaten battlefield. It was time to finish this.

Maru smirked to himself, the vial of poison within his puppet body coated his senbons in twilight venom a poison made to copycat the venom of a mythical snake, twilight venom causes the victim to go blind very slowly, their vision fading to gray as if the sun were setting. Now all he had to do was wait on his opponent, and he came right at him to take some of his chakra, while the trainee took his chakra his ebony dragon surprised him by clawing at his back! Leaving three scratches claw marks in the boys back Maru took advantage of this by firing his already prepared senbon needles at the boy through hidden hatches within his puppet body. Needles stuck out of the boys body, however little did Juko know he had secretly been poisoned. Maru began to feel energized! As if each he was healing himself simply by hurting Juko… like a leach draining the life's blood from its host, the parasitic puppet continued to attack!

Maru with a serious expression raised both of his arms to keep guard, the blonde boy hit his arms, and misses his head. Seeing the expression written on the trainee’s face both of Maru's hands reached out him then he let loose another volley of poisonous senbon needles! Firing needles after needles at the boy until the canister in his puppet body was empty! Then the emptying canister shot out of his body and reloaded a fresh set of needles just for his former teammate. Maru felt the darkness within his puppet body rewarding him for causing the boy to become a human pin cushion by recharging him! Feeding on the amount of hurt he inflicted in the boy, a leering smile came to the dark puppet masters face. Juko kicked, punched, Maru even looking broken but he still came right at him. It was right up until the boy head butted him was when he stopped attacking, his face seemingly began to split in numerous places before… HIS FACE OPENED!

Clearly Maru wasn't as human as the boy, his face realviling a skeletal construction made also from organic material and metal. The metallic skeleton of Maru open its mouth wide then began to fire out another barrage of poisonous needles! Feeding on more Juko’s life source. His face plate closed, then his head ebony nightmarish creature continued to claw at the trainee then Maru fired Senbon needles again, reloaded then fired again! As the boy vowed that he'd never would give up, Maru couldn't help but smile. "Too bad, because the venom I put in those needles will make sure you run into everything I throw at you.” He gave the boy a leering grin as he sneered. Out of all the things Mikasa had taught him, he was glad that toxins had been apart of the lesson.

Maru unbuttoned his jacket then began to tear off his tattered jacket, shirt, and vest to reveal that his body had looked dollish in appearance, dramatically casting it from him but being shirtless wasn't the surprise he had for him. “You know, I thought I was incomplete. But I think I can show you my real battle ready form.” he said, then he began to switch to his true weaponized form. Three stainless steel claw like wings sprung that would spin like chainsaws from his upper back, his stomach cavity opened revealing a hidden launcher that fires senbons, while a mechanical scorpion tail sprung from the dark puppet masters lower back, two horns sprung up from each side of Maru's head while all these weapons, that had once been hidden, dripped with purplish poison! Maru's eyes opened wide in a maniacal way seemingly glowed bright with a shadows covering his face down to his nose. Extending both hands to Juko, disregarding the people who had been watching the fight.

"Now it's playtime.” he said, preparing the hidden mechanisms in his hands to produce two tubes. He was about to use the flamethrower in his body to burn the boy to a crisp and if he didn't the poisonous propane would produce a smoke that would cause it's victims blood pressure to rise to the point where they visibly tremble with each beat of their heart. Unhealthy targets suffer strokes or cardiac arrest, those with fit health are still at risk due to blood violently squirting from even small wounds. Maru's goal now was to cause as much pain and injury to the boy as possible. However the fight seemed over, was it? Well Maru wasn't unconscious so surely it wasn't done….

 

[Kairyuu]

A whistle splits the air, followed immediately by an upheaval of leaves, discarded senbon, dirt, and anything else that was on the ground. A swath of wind shreads the ground between the two, as if a massive blade passed between them. Another whistle and a burst of pressure forms between them, with the aim of splitting them even further than they already were. And with that done, the armored figure finally steps into sight of the two.

In this armor, Maki seemed slightly taller than normal. Matte black plates made up the dou and kusazueri, over a matching black shirt that helped him to not only hide, but absorbed the light instead of reflecting it. The sode were hidden under the dou slightly, and the han kote and haidate were studded with small protrusions. His suneate were fashioned after plated boots, with knee guards between them and the haidate. The kabuto, with mengu, was fashioned in an intimidating look. At his side was the katana he’d taken from the former Head Jounin. A cape completed the ensemble, because why the hell not?

If the two tried to continue their fight, or come at him, another sharp whistle would split the air and form a hurricane force wind to shove them further apart and away. Either way, even in the darkness the form behind him would become recognizable. A twelve foot tall figure covered in plate armor with smoke oozing from every surface. Without even trying to hide its presence the massive knight stomps into the middle of the field and gives a screech. With that, one of the most potent techniques of the ANBU comes into being, a wall of pure darkness rising up around the area to keep people away. Those already present notwithstanding.

Finally, that done, Maki reaches up and removes the kabuto over his head, the face under it twisted with rage. ”You two! Just what the fuck do you think you’re doing having a gods damned fight right outside of the entrance of the FUCKING HIDDEN headquarters? What part of “This entrance is a secret” made you think it would be a good idea to fucking battle before it?!” Pissed wasn’t the word. His eyes, shining green in the little light that hit them, focus entirely on Maru.

”You! Maru! Report. I expect better of my ANBU so you had best have a good fucking reason for this!” He points, without looking, to Juko. ”I’ll get with you in a moment! Don’t go anywhere.”

 

[Kodoma Yoshihisa]

As Yoshihisa soared down from the tree tops with the guidance of the wind, his freshly sprouted wings of clay would make him adopt a particular guise, one almost angelic in appearance. If the subject matter had been any less dire he might have permitted himself to have a good hearty chuckle at the stark contrast he drew between himself and the members of the ANBU waiting for him down below.

His feet hadn’t even touched the ground or Maki had already erected a barrier to keep unwanted visitors from interfering or more likely in the current case keep those he meant to scold from legging it before it got to that. Even from outside the dome he could every now and then catch a word or two, the ANBU sennin roaring at the top of his lungs to a degree where he might have even had hair stand on end all the way back in Konoha were it not for the safety precautions. In case of one he would be the first to jump the band wagon, but for the other, being his student he could feel the slightest hint of discomfort.

“Maki-sama, I don’t know whether or not you can hear me, but in the scenario where you choose to invoke punishment of some sort on Juko, I would like to request you leave it to me, or at the very least involve me in the process as he is my underling now.” He crossed his arms as he waited for a response of any kind all the while not being entirely sure if in Maki’s current state he even wanted to consider acting as a lightning rod, but be it as it may, he couldn’t take his words back now. Regardless he chose to stand by them, trying his very hardest to at least provide Hana with living teammate, preferably this one.

Juko dashed forward from behind his hideout just at the same time as Maru decided to taunt him once more. Mikazuki floating next to his open hand as if waiting on a command the boy felt his blood boiling as he flew forwards towards his opponent. Despite his energy though his motion was lacking some of the earlier velocity as the poison was taking roots in his body and with grinding teeth Juko noticed his legs moving sluggish compared to how he had been able to move before. Tch, that damned Maru and his cheap poison... ill get you for that, just you wait. That little bit of exhaustion is not going to stop me from slicing your doll body up nice'n fine! The anbu in Training reached out to his floating sword, grabbing the shining white weapon in the middle before rotating it like a huge saw in front of himself. Any further senbon coming his way would have a hard time hitting him even if one counted in his slowly failing reflexes.
Before Juko he could see Maru stripping his upper body from any leftover clothing, revealing a mostly mechanized form. Metal sickles sprung from his back, spreading like the wings of a silvery bat just before they started spinning, imitating Mikazuki in Juko's hands. From the shadows behind Maru's back another disgusting result of the puppeteers tinkering showed itself as a huge mechanical tail-like appendage showed itself, softly swaying in an invisible wind. Seemingly as a finishing touch a pair of horns appeared on each side of Maru's head, creating a truly horrifiying silhouette. Heh...ready to rumble, arent we? To bad you wont get a chance to show any more tricks!
Armed with just his rotating blade Juko felt a slight wave of hesitation roll up over him as Maru extended his hands towards him, ready to shoot out something stronger than just senbons. Maybe a little bit to much.. eh? I need to dodge this... i wont be able to keep on doing this for any longer....
Just as the youngster prepared to dodge sideways he felt a slight disturbance in the woods. Wha... An invisible blade cut the ground just before his feet, throwing him off balance and involuntarily to the side. When the wall before him thickened further Juko quickly raised the blade to the side that Maru was standing on while turning to regard any potential ally or backup to the puppeteer.
And indeed, a black silhouette split the trees just in front of him. More friends eh!? Juko didnt stop to think about where that being had come from, its color told him everthing he needed to know as he let go of MIkazuki, allowing the doublesided blade to whirl out towards the new enemy. His now free hands immediately began throwing up handsigns as he prepared to release the Jutsu he had prepared to shoot down Maru with.
The seikon felt his chakra straining against the further drain as a small and chaotic blue bubble formed between his hands. The rasengan was small, barely fully formed and more than just unstable as Juko followed his weapon forward against the unknown threat. Blackness was spreading from the newcomer in an evil cloud. Before Juko could reach his target however a strong gust of wind lifted him up and threw him backwards into the woods. His concentration broke and with a sharp inhale of air Juko could feel his kinetic tethering to Mikazuki weaken. Shit.. i wont have the time to finish this anymore i think... A small wink of his arm forced his sword to leap back to his position where it narrowly missed his hand as it dug into the tree to his side. The boy didnt even have enough chakra left to actually catch the weapon. All elegance had left him now as Juko slowly rose on wobbly legs. Darkness was now rising in a wall all around him and the two dark beings when suddenly a loud voice shouted out. Ive...ive heard that voice before?... He couldnt see the dark silhouette from his position but he knew that the voice was coming from there. What the... Holding his flank with one hand Juko slowly edged forward ready to lash out in case of any more traps or possible genjutsu.

[Midori Futotta]

Maru smirked, his metallic tail moved from side to side, he shot more senbon needles at tipped with poison at Juko again! Then extended his metallic tail to aim towards the face of the Anbu in training, the sharp tip dripped Black Lotus poison which would also do a great deal of damage to him if this were to be injected into his body. However, before his tail could pierce him a sharp whistle knocked both his tail and his senbons away! Maru's face turned sour, retracting his tail when seeing the one person he wanted to see bruised and beaten more than anything. Maki… Looks like the fun part was over, however he still held his weaponized form. It was only until Maki brought up that they were right outside the foundation before he realized that they WERE close to the entrance of the headquarters. Maru gave a shrug. “Well, exams where you have to fight are held here so why not use this as a battle ground?” He said, standing up straight.

“The reason for this fight was for Juko prove himself in a fight, honestly if he would've used stronger attacks he would've already ended the fight. Honestly don't know how that would've turned out since the I injected him with a poison that'll cause him to slowly go blind. I would recommend getting him an antidote. Also he is cursed.” The blood that had been splattered on the ground had been absorbed by Maru's demonic core, healing him back to normal as juko took damage from his cursed needles still within his body.

 

[Kairyuu]

He did indeed hear Yoshihisa’s words. But he made no response to the ANBU just yet, instead staring down the two who decided to begin this spectacle. The one, Juko going by Yoshihisa’s words, was more confused than anything, thinking this was a trick Maru was using. Maru, as seemed to be the rule and not the exception, was acting like his shit didn’t stink. His persona stood, hulking, and as Maru gave his excuse would release a bellow of rage.

”Indeed, exams are done in this forest. What part of that makes it okay for you two to go drawing more attention on this area? We don’t hide by creating a disturbance that a blind man can follow.” As Maru keeps speaking Maki’s eyes shift from green to red, then back. ”And who, pray fucking tell, gave you permission to test him like that? Juko wasn’t one of the two Takeshi assigned to you. You got the slightest bit of responsibility and just fucked it into the wind, eh?”

The armored figure screeches aloud once more, dropping the blockade around the four of them and revealing Yoshihisa. ”Go report to Yukio. I’ll let him deal with this specific fuck up. Any more and you deal with me.” He doesn’t even bother with a dismissal and instead turns to Juko.

”Explain this.”

Maki was already at work on his thoughts. The entrance was compromised by this, no way around it. Besides, he needed an excuse to run up his new clan's money. They would help Konoha financially, regardless of their desire to. He would relocate. Simple as that.

(Maru dismissed, Juko in the spotlight.)

 

[Kodoma Yoshihisa]

With an extremely tightly choreographed shit show unfolding before him in all its rich brown splendor, Yoshihisa had been forced to fall back on a smile of tightly clenched teeth: As Maru ranted on he eventually feared his own jaw would be dropping to the floor at any second now, for it was downright incomprehensible that he would one day have to compete with someone like this for the title befitting of an ANBU senior. Granted, he wasn’t entirely sure what this shinobi actually brought to Konoha’s table to justify his current position, but if the stories he’d heard were even remotely true he might be starting to question his sanity at this point.

With this genuinely amazing promotion for a year-round Opposite Day out of the way Yoshihisa turned his attention towards Juko, knowing that outside of this lunacy there was still someone in the dire need of medical aid. ”Not exactly how I had envisioned our first meeting, but necessity is the mother of invention.” After weaving a flurry of seals, the subsequent jutsu mantifested itself as a chakra viper and immediately dug its fangs into Juko’s lower abdomen. Yet despite how it might have looked on the surface, the pain never came and rather it almost seemed to be leaving the boy numb instead. By the time Maru had been dismissed by a steaming Maki, the makeshift rattle on the snake’s tail had expanded to almost twice it’s original size, at which point it withdrew from Juko at once.

“I did your liver a huge solid there by extracting a large portion of the poison in your system, hopefully good enough that your body will be able to expell any of it remaining by itself. However I wouldn’t be against a visit to the medical ward if need be.” The chakra making up the snake’s being had been condensed into a bauble resting in the palm of his hand, the poison safely stored inside. Whether or not others had fallen victim to it at any point in the past, it would be wise to deliver a sample of it to the likes of Mikasa for further study.

[Senju Gaki]

Something about the situation had changed as far as Juko could tell. That black armored creature had not attacked him, nor even reacted to his attempt to attack it and as he steadied himself next to his tree he finally catched a glimpse at the invader. Huh... havent... havent i seen that face? He could feel his chakra slowly seeping back into his body and as he finally managed to get into a proper standing position, his right arm still propped against the tree next to him, he squinted as he listened to the newcomer talk to Maru. Yeh, isnt that... er... that guy that was next to Takeshi at the Anbu ceremony? What is HE doing here? The man was clearly as pissed as Juko, if not more, and his words were echoing throughout the forest as he called out to Juko's victim. A handful of needles dropped from his body and clattered to the ground, the ringing sound reminding the boy of the first day of ninja academy when everything had still been well and good.
Ugh...mmnot donet....
His mouth felt numb and with some frustration Juko noticed that his tongue had the texture of a hairy corpse in his mouth and a similar vigor. His empty hand reached up and felt into his mouth, if only to make sure that his tongue was in fact still where it belonged. At the same time Maru was being dismissed by the newcomer, a deed Juko wasnt particular happy about. Pushing his body away from the tree he started moving forward, back to the center where the fight had taken place before.
Juko could feel not only branches snapping under his feet but also the occasional thin needle bending under his step. Shit, i feel like im about to fall asleep here... i knew the bastard used poison but... ugh... I really really hope i do not acidently step on one of the needles now... id swear there are more of em here than there is grass growing...
As he finally reached the emptier parts of the clearing, where the road was running through he was met not only by the armored man and his opponent but also another man whom Juko had not yet seen before. ...envisioned our first meeting? Why would you... i dont even know this guy... Juko tried to answer to the man but his lips felt sealed by numbness. Hooshuu... A bare mumble excaped him.
Before he could react anymore he saw a ghostly snake snap forward and dig its translucent fangs into his body. The young seikon closed his eyes shut, prepared to face anything ranging from pain to... well, anything.
...Nothing?...
With eyes wide in surprise he saw the snake slowly suck itself full with posion, or what he believed to be the poison. As more and more of the vile liquid left his body Juko could feel his strength replenishing. Soon, most of it had indeed left his system and only the faint pain of the few needles still stuck in his flesh remained. Steading himself with more ease now Juko looked at his saviour. 'angs...hankss....thanks! Dammit... ma lips still feel numm.. He spat out to the side of the road and for a moment he felt as if more wanted to follow.
It was only after a moment of painfully forced control that Juko managed to turn towards the black-armored warrior. Not much to explain here im afraid...er...? Juko found himself struggling for the name of the black man.
I know hes a superior... but... his name evades me.... shit, was it... Makaka? Makuku? Matata? Something on "M", im sure of that.... ...Er.. sir. Apparently i hadnt been told that my squad has been disbanded and so Puppetboy over there felt the need to "inform" me about it. Let me see if i can quote him. "Something... something... Darkness, Something... something... Darkness again, Something... something... my promotion was completely ridiculous... yadda yadda... more darkness. Then he challenged me and then i kicked his custombuilt ass.
Juko flinched. Oh and i let him poison me, cause otherwise this wouldve been mere target practice... His voice was a wild mixture of anger, pride and the kind of aggressive amusement that one felt when bitten by something one thought of as harmless. He started pulling out the last needles still stuck in his body and dropped them to the ground. Im sorry about the littering... i guess... Ouch...

[Kodoma Yoshihisa]

Yoshihisa produced a vial from underneath his robe and uncorked it, letting the extracted venom trickle in with the greatest of care as to not to spill a single drop. “Don’t mention it.” His harvest completed -filling the vial to about two-thirds of its capacity- Yoshihisa turns his attention towards Juko’s explanation, one that at a basic level already exposed a few major flaws he would have to call his student out on when time would allow it.

”Eh.” By then it was already as clear as day that with his plans gone awry like this, he would be better off calling them off entirely. “My apologies, but if my presence here is no longer required I have to ask to be excuse and get this sample to the medical division straight away.” He gave a quick bow and in the blink of an eye his wings had carried him off into the evening sky. Only time would tell, but as he disappeared out of sight he was certain that the events that had unfolded today would have long lasting repercussions.

The stranger carefully pulled a small vial from his clothing, placing the poison he had sucked from Juko's body withhin the small glass. The liquid was lazily sloshing this and that way, its clear color throwing back the colors of the dark forest around him. Without regarding the injured boy anymore the man turned to face the armored person and excused himself. With nearclosed eyes the young seikon regarded the pale wings that stretched into the air and pulled the man up to the sky. I wonder if it was such a good idea to let him have all of the poison by himself... it would have been smart to keep some of that for myself... Small droplets of blood pearled from the multitude of wounds that the needles had left back. With his right hand Juko wiped his face, leaving behind small streaks of red.
Shit... i can feel it still trickling out of me... i need to make sure this all heals properly again...
He took a look at the armored man that was still looking at him and bowed shortly.
Please excuse me, it appears i will have to leave for the hospital to get my wounds treated... allow me to explain in detail after ive recovered. With another short nod he released the Karma he had been building up and vanished.
