Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yuuko would sit among the branches of a small tree looking down upon the world around her. She was a bit unsure of how she had ever managed to stumble upon this place, but ever since she had she'd visited often. It wasn't much more than a small clearing surrounded by buildings on all sides. Somehow stumbling through small sidestreets had eventually led her here. She liked the amount of relative peace the small hideaway had dispite being located in the village. People usually didn't come into this area to busy with their own lives to be bothered with it. The most Yuuko had ever seen of others was kids she had encountered here on occassion. She would talk with them sometimes as she was in fact just a kid herself. Being a few years older than the younger children didn't mean much in the end. She enjoyed playing with them, and even sometimes showing them cool little tricks. Other than that there was another reason Yuuko liked the area. It was a pretty good area for training. The tree that was present while small was big enough for her to climb. The lack of people there meant she could use most of her jutsu without worry. Though she would never use any sort of fire or lightning jutsu as she didn't want to start a fire.

As of today Yuuko would decide to practice a bit with her newer jutsu. She had recently begun to learn more elements which required the combined use of the base elements. So far she was able to use both earth, and lightning ninjutsu exceedingly well enough that she could combine them for the allowed use of paper, and gravity related techniques. That combined with her good ability with wind ninjutsu allowed her to also practice with sand, and ink ninjutsu. With all of these new things to try Yuuko was a bit unsure of which one to mess with first. She'd found that previously earth ninjutsu seemed to be more fitting for her. If that was the case then why not go ahead and start out with earth. That would then allow her to warm up before transitioning into the more advanced jutsu. Yuuko would hop down onto the ground making handseals along the way. When she hit the ground she would focus finishing off her handseals, and causing the ground to begin to shift around her. Large amounts of semi liquid mud from the ground would move swirling together a few feet in front of her. After a very short period of time Yuuko would be looking at a copy of herself. She had successfully created a mud clone. It shared all her features looking exactly identical to her despite its muddy origins. Yuuko would smile to herself looking at it. It was definitely pretty good for her little experience with it. Not to mention how useful it would be to her. Now it was time for her to continue on with her training. Unless of course something or someone else had anything to say about that.

A few days had passed since her arrival and the half-breed of Tomoe Country had managed to get herself lost inside the Hidden Leaf. Considering that this concept of a Hidden Village was foreign to her and the sheer size of the village in comparison to her was astronomical, it was not that surprising that she had managed to stumble along the past few days quite easily, but now had managed to get herself lost with not much effort at all. It actually was likely a bad thing for her escort to allow her to get lost like this as there were likely areas of the village that a foreigner was not supposed to be allowed to enter or stumble upon while they were staying. But, she also had not seen much of the village yet and she always could say that she was lost if a citizen of the village questioned why she was where she was. It was also easy for her to back her words up with actions if she had to call upon them, but she did not want to do this at all if she could avoid it as fighting would only bring trouble for herself and anyone involved unless it had been agreed upon before and was sanctioned somewhere like the coliseum that she had been hearing about since her arrival where the students had a tournament before and people went to in order to settle their differences.

Nevertheless, her simple getting lost had allowed her to stumble upon an opening that had buildings surrounding it and one tree standing within it. It was quite interesting to see one idle tree situated within the village all by its lonesome in an rather odd location, but this entire village and its structure was foreign to the Murakami woman. She still likely had a lot to learn about the Hidden Leaf Village and about the world outside of her home since there were many foreign concepts and ideas that were unique and varied depending on the country that one entered. This was just a learning experience more or less, but she did notice a younger feminine-looking figure doing what appeared to be training in this location as a figure made of sand had been formed and it resembled many of the qualities of the one that stood in the opening near this tree.

In all honesty, Tomomi was well-aware of the training that many had to do in order to master an advanced technique like the one that was on display in front of her. She was quite honestly impressed that someone that appeared to be so young had managed to even be able to use something that was slightly more advanced. Then again, she really shouldn't be judging a book by its cover, as the saying went, considering most of her village did not even have any formal training with anything related to the so-called shinobi arts unless they stumbled away from the village to get training with the elder of the lake whom had been training many half-breeds like herself for years. Regardless, she would do something that the half-breed had not done since appearing in the village and that was initiate a conversation with someone as she began to walk towards the shorter, feminine figure and addressed them as she approached with the same cold, distant and direct voice that others had likely grown accustomed to since she arrived: "Quite an impressive technique for someone that appears young like you."

As Yuuko was looking over her newly made clone a woman would catch her eye. It was quite strange to see someone of an older age stumbling around in this area. Not only that, but the woman appeared to have two horns sticking out of her head. She seemed to be quite interesting in Yuuko's opinion. Yuuko and her clone would both turn towards the woman as she began to speak. It appeared the woman thought that her clone technique was really impressive. Yuuko would smile happy to be praised. Though in her opinion the ninjutsu she had just done was pretty basic compared to some of the other jutsu she was capable of doing. Yuuko then decided that she would not only talk to this woman, but continue with her training. What better option was there, but for her to showcase her talents in order to both train, and make new friends. She would though make sure to try and be humble the entire time as not to seem rude.

"Thank you!" Yuuko would say happily to the woman. She loved being praised, and it would only be rude not to thank the woman for her comment. "If you think that one was impressive look at this one!" Yuuko would say excited as can be. She would begin making handseals again. When she finished her hand seals she would open her mouth wide allowing a stream of rock to pour out. The rock would first pile up in front of her before it began to shape itself. After a couple of seconds the pile took on the shape of a human made of squares. It had no face and was very blocky, but looked pretty durable. After it was fully formed the rock golem would move towards the clone striking it in the chest with its large earthen hand. The clone would make no attempt to dodge, and would simply disperse into mud showering the golem with chakra infused earth. After that Yuuko would begin making handseals again this time gathering up sand from all around her. Large amounts of sand would begin to collect in the air forming the shape of a large spear. As she finished her handseals the spear would fly foward impaling the golems core, and causing it to fall apart. Yuuko would turn back to the woman, and do a small courteous bow. "How was that?" She would ask eager to hear the woman's answer.

Within a few moments of their eyes meeting, it went from a simple compliment from the half-breed of Tomoe Country to the young shinobi of Leaf going on a demonstration of her skills in front of Tomomi. While she wanted to make a comment that it was not necessary to show her skills to a foreigner, especially one that knew many jutsu already, she chose to not do so as the excitement behind the child's voice was enough for her to keep quiet and simply nod at the younger individual without breaking her normal demeanor. She would however take a few steps back to allow the Konohian citizen the space possibly needed to perform her techniques, but she had a feeling that she would not be impressed by the techniques shown; the individual absolutely, but the jutsu likely not.

She would not have to wait long however as the girl would emit a stream of rock out of her mouth that formed into a golem-like creature which would crush the replica of the girl without much effort at all. However, its life would be short-lived as the girl in front of her would gather sand together to form a spear and pierce the creature in the chest causing it to collapse within moments of impact with somewhat of a thud considering the size of the creature. After all the demonstrating was completed, the girl would turn around giving a bow to Tomomi and asking for her opinion on what she saw. It would not take the foreigner of the Hidden Leaf much time at all to respond, but her voice and tone were yet again cold, direct and somewhat distant: "For someone of your age, it is impressive. For most people back home, it would take years to master what you displayed to me, Miss."

She would walk towards the girl and extend her hand to her when she was standing in front of her. Once there, she would address the girl: "I am Murakami Tomomi of Tomoe Country. What is your name?" This was an opportunity for the girl in front of her to make a good impression to her and possibly acquire an ally that could help her navigate this village since Miss Kami was slacking on the job.

Yuuko would smile listening to the woman talk to her. It wasn't all to common for Yuuko to hear praise on her work. Not that she ever let herself be discouraged by that fact. Though sometimes it was just nice to hear someone say that you were doing a good job. Especially when it came from someone who didn't know you, and thus had no bias against or for you. Yuuko would take a second to look further at the woman's horns and eyes as she was now closer. She had never seen anybody who looked quite like the lady in front of her. Soon as the woman was speaking she would reach her arm out, and introduce herself. Yuuko couldn't recall ever hearing anything about Tomoe Country, but she would make a note to read about it later.

"My name is Kobayashi Yuuko!" She would say excitedly reaching out, and shaking Tomomi's hand. "Are you lost Miss Murakami? I don't usually see that many people that come around this area, and I've never seen you before. I might be able to help out if you're in need." Yuuko would say smiling kindly, and warmly. She enjoyed helping people and making new friends, and saw this as an opportunity to do both. Plus maybe she could even learn something new about the world. Surely there was plenty to learn about the place that Tomomi originated from. Though Yuuko would make a note not to just randomly ask about. She certainly didn't want to be seen as an annoyance, or appear as if she was trying to pry into Tomomi's business.

Within moments of her introduction, a handshake had been completed between the half-breed of Tomoe Country and this young girl from Konoha known as Kobayashi Yuuko. This lass certainly was friendly almost as much as the Asuka woman that she met a few days earlier which was a story for another day since Asuka was just rather "fascinating" to put it mildly. For now, the citizen of the Hidden Leaf would ask Tomomi if she was lost and offered to help her if she wanted the offer which was admirable coming from someone that didn't look to be more than thirteen years of age.

Considering the circumstances that Tomomi was facing currently, she would look at the young girl and in that typical cold, distant tone of her voice, she would simply say: "Yes, I am lost, Yuuko. I was supposed to be escorted around the village by someone named Kami, but I have not seen her since I first entered the village. Not that there is any reason to be concerned as I am simply here on a personal mission before I head back to my home country. So if you have the time, I would gladly appreciate the escorting and company for a little while." It was at this point that Tomomi would wait to see how Yuuko would react and respond to her comments. Hopefully, she would be excited to assist and the half-breed of Tomoe County could gather some information from someone innocent and pure in this world still. But she would simply have to wait and see.
