It was no secret that Jinzo loved to cook. He would spend hours in the kitchen, experimenting with different recipes and techniques and he loved the challenge of creating something new and delicious. One day, Jinzo was reading a news article about a notable Master Chef when the chef was quoted as using a technique he had never read about before. Starting with the simple stir-fry recipe he mentioned using a special technique called "sautéing." Intrigued by the technique he decided to try it out himself. With a quick trip to the grocery store and a bag full of ingredients later, he went home and started to try his hand at the famed technique.
At first, he found that he had trouble getting the hang of sautéing. The vegetables kept sticking to the pan, and the dish didn't turn out the way he wanted it to. In fact, whether he liked to admit it or not, his siblings unapproving stares at his burnt concoctions was enough to make him want to give up and to just do what he had always done, but he kept practicing, and eventually he got the hang of it. The next time Jinzo made stir-fry, he found that his technique was just as spot on as the Master Chef had spoken about. Thankfully, his siblings agreed that the dish had turned out perfectly. The vegetables were cooked just right, and the flavors were delicious. Jinzo was proud of himself, and he knew that he had learned a valuable new skill. If he had things his way, all of his shinobi skills would involve his passion for cooking.
