Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Training day! YEAH! Gonna get strong! YEAH! Beat the bad guys up all day long! Yeah!" Sora chanted as his walked along small stream that leads to a small village of retired shinobi. He walk all the way from the orphanage to this small village to see if any of the retired shinobi would give him teaching, but his ten year vigor was exhausted from walking with no fuel in the tank. He spotted a nearby apple tree across the stream. He was about ten minutes away from the small village but he was really hungry. He took off for the apple tree, jumping across the small stream, he made a mad dash for the tree. Once he reached the tree, he tried to climb it but their was no branches low enough to grab onto and no apples has yet fallen from the tree. Tired from running, sora sat at the bottom of the team. He was thinking about how he could get an apple from the tree, he thought he could throw a rock or his shoe but then apple could get bruised and his shoe could get stuck in the tree so he said no to that Idea. He thought back to his childhood hero Kuro, asking himself "What would Kuro do?" He thought back to volume six chapter twenty where Kuro charka ran up a tree to escape wolves. I'M GOING TO USE MY CHARKA! He exclaimed as he jump up and repeatedly tried to run up the tree only to end up falling on his back.

It had been only a few days since Siu's previous training experience with an entirely different instructor. While the actual lesson itself was long over, the memories associated with that experience still vividly lingered throughout her mind

"The village depends on us to make decisions others cannot and perform the actions too difficult for normal people. " The words given to her during her previous training, continued to reflect throughout her young and developing mind.

"What is a shinobi?" She deeply pondered to herself as she strolled alongside the glistening stream, the beauty of the sun reflecting upon it's clear waters. The definition of a shinobi, seemed like something simple enough to reiterate outwardly to others. After all, almost all of Kumogakure could tell you exactly what the trade of a shinobi was to do; The majority of whom wanted absolutely no part of it. Yet, Siu's question was not seeking for it's mere outward reiteration, but rather a deeper understanding of the actual philosophy and mindset behind the specialized trade.
Initially, she'd been rather overjoyed upon receiving her Genin headband, and becoming officially recognized as a shinobi of Kumogakure; Yet, what did that recognition truly mean for her? Life at home with her books, before the discovery of her natural affinity with chakra as a potential shinobi, was a lot more simple and straightforward. There was no need to constantly hone and improve herself into the perfect living weapon, neither to harden her mentality.

Carrying her almost finished novel in one hand, 'The Pursuit Of Art', she continued her contemplative stroll. Eventually she'd need a new book; Yet, what genre of book exactly, was as good as anyone's guess. Her life had drastically changed since her last novel choice, and she pondered if she could even still feel the same connection with her previous book interests as before at this point. The sudden sound of random and repetitive 'thumps', however, would bring her contemplative stroll to a halt.

"Hmph?" The young Genin inquired inquisitively, her eyes suddenly turning towards the other side of the stream. There appeared a youth, not quite unlike herself, attempting to run up a tree, and seeming to fail terribly in the process. The ambitious activity reminded her of something very familiar; her first shinobi training outside of the academy class. She quite clearly remembered her purpose for performing such antics, yet this kid's purpose, she wasn't quite aware of. After enough observation of a few more of the ambitious youth's repetitive failed attempts, however, in addition to recognizing the delicious apples hanging from the top of the tree, Siu figured she was able to put together enough details, in order to make a confident enough assumption.
An amused giggle could suddenly be heard from across the stream. "You won't get anything but bruises, running up the tree like that!" The young girl jested lightheartedly, a wide and playful smile upon her face. In the past, her engagements with random strangers were extremely shy and much more timid. Yet, the shinobi world introduced a constant need of such engagement with unfamiliar strangers, as well as coordinated teamwork with them, on a daily bases. Therefore, her experience and confidence in interaction with random strangers, was slowly growing overtime. Not to mention, the youth seemed younger than her anyways, which made the interaction all that easier.

Sora slowly turned around and said "If I can't climb this tree, then how can I escape from wolves." He said with tears in his eyes as he continued to climb the tree, "A ninja can't give up at the prospect of failure, I have to keep striving harder and harder and soon I can reach my goal" as he said these words he was getting closer and closer to the lowest branch. The more he tried, the more he received in turn. He now had multiple bruises on his arms and his back with a few knots on his head, but he kept trying. Sora was determine to get an apple and nothing was going to stop. He was soon able to grab onto the lowest branch with hands, small amounts of blood was dripping from his arm from the bruises, "See!, at this pace I'll be a ninja in no time. He said as he began to struggle to pull himself and after a while he realized he couldn't. "Heh heh, a little help?" he said with a little panic in his voice as he smiled wildly.

Siu's amusement shifted into a look of concern, as she watched the younger boy in his struggle to obtain the apple from the top of the tree. His injuries and bleeding were now beginning to gravely worry here. As the boy's ever persistent and painful efforts eventually allowed him to reach onto a lower branch, rather than becoming proud for the aspiring ninja, the young girl became even more gravely concerned for his safety. As the height of his struggle increased, so would the potential for stronger injury.
At the boy's request for aid, Siu unhesitatingly jumped over from her side of the creek. Upon landing on the other side, she briefly paused, taking a moment to clasp her hands together into a handseal, in order to focus and correctly distribute her chakra in preparation for the task at hand, just as her instructor had taught her. When she had concentrated the appropriate distribution of chakra to the soles of her feet, she began her paced and casual ascent up the tree. Eventually reaching the lower branch with ease, far more easier and quickly than the struggling youth had, she walked on top of the branch, crouching downward in order to offer the ambitious youth her hand.

"A shinobi isn't just all about persistence, ya know." She began, her concern still written upon her face. "But they also have to be smart."

Sora watched with utter amazement as the young women effortlessly climbed from the tree. "WOW, CAN YOU TEACH ME TO DO THAT!?" as she offered him, her hand. Sora hurriedly took her hand more out the fact of amazement than fear of falling, but in his haste he had removed both is hands. Sora fall was a hard one, landing straight on his rear end , he felt a shock race through his body. This shock caused the young boy to arch his back in pain as he silently started to cry. Despite the tears coming from his eyes, he smiled not wanting to look uncool in front of a girl. "Rule 8: Always be manly, if your crying make manly tears" he recited from his hand thinking of Kuro his role model. "Can you teach me how to do that?" he said with the biggest smile a boy who is crying can pull off. He quickly wipe his eyes, not wanting to be un-manly in the eyes of Kuro, slowly and shakily standing up, Sora said "teach me how to do that" with pride in his voice.
