Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Konohagakure. The Village Hidden In The Leaves. A figure approached slowly making her way towards the gates and as she got closer, any curious eyes would definitely snap to attention concerning the state of the female. Her headband was cracked in various places and the black cloak she wore ripped in half revealing the Konoha garb she wore underneath identifying her as some sort of shinobi of the Hidden Leaf. Her ANBU mask hung from her belt torn down the middle and blood running down her side and face. Nanjirou Soku was not recognizable at first glance but to any pressing figure, they would soon come to the realization who they were dealing with. The very obvious detail anyone would notice is that the woman had only one arm, the other was wrapped in some very old gauze which was almost falling off as she approached dropping to one knee, her breaths coming in short, ragged gasps. "I've made it...home...it's finally here." The crystal necklace that the Captain wore around her neck was glowing like crazy, several cracks forming in the center piece as her vison grew ever so darker. With a shaking hand, she slowly reached into her cloak drawing out a passport that despite her state seemed undamaged and managed to speak in a barely audible tone, her voice coming in a whisper. She was not even aware of the fact that no one had approached her yet. "Nanjirou Soku...ANBU Captain...requesting entrance.......emergency to attend to..." Damn it, she couldn't keep her head straight.

Feeling her grip loosening, the passport slipped from her hand landing in the dirt as she dropped to the other knee swaying back and forth as she glanced up at the burning sun. Was anyone going to come anytime soon? Was she going to die here, just inches from the place she called home? It seemed so amusing, fate was laughing at her. Right when Nibachi needed her the most, right when she had been ambushed back in Suna's deserts, it had all gone wrong. She had done the one thing all ANBU were taught to avoid. She hesitated and she was paying dearly for it with her life. She opened her mouth to speak but all that came out was a mouthful of blood. The ground seemed to be getting closer and her vision dimmer. Finally, her body swayed forward hitting the grassy surface face-first and lay still, the blood pooling out of her arm. Her traveling pack snapped open spilling the contents on the surface. Inside was a red enevelope addressed to her marked with a seal in the form of a black diamond, two medicine bottles, a bunch of coins and her garments. Her eyes began to flutter close. So it seemed...life was cruel after all. To get so far only to fail minutes from her objective. Oh, how the world worked in mysterious ways. Her breathing pattern began to slow as darkness overtook. Time was of the essence if anyone foolish enough thought they could save the gravely injured kunoichi.

Asuka was having a nice lunch with her partner inside her apartment, take out from her favorite Dango place. It didn't seem as though as it could get better than this. "You know. I just don't understand who had the genius idea to have a Dango on a stick. Absolutely brilliant." Rayne on the other hand simply sighed, taking a bite out from her food. "Are we really doing this again?" Asuka simply shrugged, the conversation kept going as if nothing was wrong, as if things could continue as normal.

Few minutes later something Asuka hoped never did happened. The necklace she was wearing started glowing faintly, she didn't notice it the first few seconds but she did once it grew brighter, and brighter. The bright almost blinded her for a few seconds. "Asuka..." Rayne warned, alarmed at what was happening. When the necklace cracked Asuka didn't hesitate but Rayne stopped jumping from across the table. "RAYNE! I swear to god if this is one of yo-" The words died at her lips, Rayne was holding one of her health kits that was standard issue for Shinobi. With a smile Asuka called out Rayne's name and as her partner was morphing into a scythe Asuka jumped out the window, breaking the glass.

A few shards cut her cheek and part of her arms, but she had to hurry. With scythe in one hand, med-kit in the other Asuka sprinted across the rooftops. She didn't care about the Chakra usage her Mangekyou Sharingan was activated.

Asuka panted as she forced herself to go faster, faster. Not again, she wouldn't loose anyone again. She would get there in time. Asuka had to. With tears streaming down her face it slowly started to rain down from the sky. Just great. This is what she needed. With a clinch of her Asuka looked around, for any sort of Chakra signature that was even familiar to her Big Sisters. She was getting desperate, searching all over the village.

But it hit her, Soku wasn't in the village. She left with Maki. Almost sliding off a building Asuka took off to the other direction, the gates... she was near the gates.

Didn't take her that long to finally get there and sure enough.... she could see the Chakra she wanted but it was faint. The traces of blood and battle scars didn't tell her much but told her enough. Sprinting towards her sister Asuka threw Rayne backwards as it got stuck on the gates. Asuka panted as she finally got close sliding closer. She grabbed the passport quickly seeing that it was indeed Nanjirou Soku. With a little effort turning her sister around.

Okay, okay. This was it. "First, find how bad is the damage." Asuka looked around, missing arm, cuts, bruises. Blood from lips means internal injuries. FUCK! Asuka looked at her gates guards who were coming ever so closely. First, stop blood loss. But how? It wasn't just a cut she had lost an arm.

"Asuka-sama... that's ANBU." They spoke recognizing the mask. Asuka knew that, she didn't care. "You two. Hold her down, do not let her move." She spoke placing her hair out of her face on a ponytail, using a kunai keeping it together. They did as she asked, the third one looking for instructions. "Natsuki, there's a bandage inside the med-kit on my left. Keep it ready when I tell you to." Natsuki was stunned, not only because a Sennin knew his name but because this was the first time for him seeing something like this. He had just graduated after all. "NATSUKI!" Asuka screamed out, it seemed as though that brought him out of his shock. Apparently pissing off a Sennin was worse than blood.

Asuka on the other hand produced a bit of fire on her palm, making sure it didn't get extinguished by the water covering her with her Kimono. "I'm sorry Big Sis." Asuka spoke, making sure to take the dirty bandage out first, placing her fiery hand on the open wound. Making sure that it wouldn't melt the flesh just cauterize it and stop it from bleeding. Once that was done Asuka basically yanked the bandage away from Natsuki and placed it on tightly. Finally she broke a piece of her kimono and tightly placed it around Soku's arm, making sure to stop the blood flow. Better safe than sorry.

With that Asuka was finally done, the tears started returning. But this wasn't over, first she grabbed one of the bottles of medicine from Soku's bag and gently poured it down her throat, hopefully that would help with the pain. Asuka made more hand signs slamming her hand on the ground as a crystal dragon spawned from it. Asuka called for Rayne and both of them hauled Soku up the dragon, Rayne making sure to grab all her stuff in the bag. Taking it with her. With that she clicked her headset, opening a channel with Medical. "Medical Branch, this is Uchiha Asuka requesting immediate medical attention. I'll be there in 3 minutes." Asuka got on top of the dragon and started flying off making sure Soku was safely inside. She didn't look back. Cleaning the tears from her eyes Asuka sighed. "I was supposed to be the idiot."

Soku's eyes fluttered open and close as she barely made out various figures converging on her position. The gate guards had finally taken notice and there was an immense commotion at the gates as several footsteps thundered towards where the Captain had fallen physically unable to move. A set of hands began to treat and as she was turned over, Soku could not speak too much in pain and barely conscious but the face gave her relief. So this is what death feels like. Nibachi...I have failed you. Suddenly, an burning pain where her arm had been caused her to hiss in pain causing her to snap back to awareness for a brief second Asuka's face coming into view. "Sis..."That was all she had the energy to mutter as she slipped once again back into her comatose state. One of the medicine bottles was poured down the female's throat which was good on Asuka's part. The toxin worked to combat the nervous system's reaction relieving some of the pain but that was about it. If a healer did not attend to her soon, it might be too late. Her heart was working in overtime to supply blood to the lost limb unaware of what had happened. Her body was in total shock and she was unable to even speak on her own. She felt herself being lifted by a few strong hands onto the back of a mount of some sort which instantly took off.

Memories began to flash through her head. Faces, experiences. The crystal she wore suddenly began shaking uncontrollably the cracks growing ever so large. It was on the verge of exploding into little glass shards. Between mouthfuls of blood, her breathing was ragged and gravely as the hospital building loomed out of the array of buildings. Nibachi was still probably holding his own against whatever had occured at the estate, that was the primary reason she had rushed here and for the real time, the ANBU Captain came to the very real realization she might actually die. She could possibly never be able to set eyes on those she called family, this could be the last time she saw the Village Hidden in The Leaves with her own two eyes. It pained her to talk as she spoke simply two words, all she could manage in her bouts of conciousness."I'm........................." A couple of minutes pass."Sorry." Her heart rate began to slow as key vital organs began to wither due to losing an limb. Whoever was at the hospital, she silently hoped they could at least prolong her death if anything.
