[Ashikawa Shun]

Shun meandered down the streets in Crater City. His relationship with this area of Leaf was not so pleasant; the last time he was here, he was found out by the Fifth Hokage and later found himself without his found family. He'd heard talk in his town of a new bar that was being set up and decided to check it out. He was excited to have a new place to hang out, even if he didn't see himself delving into the world of alcohol.

He found a little advertising paper and made his way to the correct location, his eyes widening at the sight of a familiar face. It couldn't be…could it? He wasn't completely positive, but that man looked a little bit like his old friend. A little bit only though, because this man was much taller than he remembered. Still, Shun had to check.

“Shion?” he voiced hesitantly. Their last encounter had been quite a lot, so if it really was him, Shun wasn't sure how he'd react to his presence. “It's Shun, from a few years back.” He knew he also looked quite a bit different than before, having grown a few inches and his hair returning to a longer length in contrast to his previous style that had ended at his shoulders. “I heard there was a new bar in the city, so I thought I'd come check it out. Sorry if I mistook you for someone else; you look a bit like an old friend of mine.”

He had just opened up for the day and was already serving guests. None of these people had found out that he was a blind person these days. So all was playing out well in the mind of Shion, well that was except one person. They had found out at a point and ever since kept Shion on his toes for it. Just when he placed one more beer down for someone he heard a voice coming from long ago. Yet the silhouette never seemed to match up with the voice. The bar even feels silent. so Silent that you could hear the radio crackle in the background. “I heard there was a new bar in the city, so I thought I'd come check it out. Sorry if I mistook you for someone else; you look a bit like an old friend of mine.”

Shion remained a moment silent at this as he placed down the cleaning cloth he had on a belt. He turned his face towards the young man. "Don't..." he spoke and went outside, mentioning the other to follow and once outside, Shion would wait till the other was outside. "So... A scary cat finally got his courage back after everything... The way you deserted out of the clan. Never got updates outside despite anything and went MIA in his career..." he would comment and his eyes were cold, different then the past, they weren't hyper-raged. At least the lessons of the past had helped somewhat. "Give me a damn good reason to not throw you in the Byoin." he would sound and look towards the facial shape.

Shun was a bit surprised by Shion’s reaction at first, though once it settled in he was able to understand where his old friend was coming from. “I didn’t abandon my post. I was faced with a difficult decision, just as everyone else was. I was tasked with inside information by our brother, though I never heard another word once everyone left. I also was on high alert with Lady Fifth so I wanted to play it smart. I took some time away from my training and trained privately at home instead. But I did not abandon my clan, my family,” he stated firmly. His choices may have looked a bit compulsive in the moment back then, but he had a goal in mind and he was going to commit to it. “I didn’t think we would be separated, and even less did I think it would take this long for us to meet again, but I’m glad that you are alive and well despite everything.”

Well, maybe “well” wasn’t the case, Shun didn’t really know anything about what happened outside the walls of his village, but Shion being alive was still a truth he was happy for. “I did miss all of you though. I just started my medical training, and I’m hoping that once I get a bit more clearance, I can start venturing out on missions and helping the clan better now that I’ve gotten stronger.” His goals definitely included seeing his found family again, though he knew bumping into Asuka might not be the best for his physical health. She did say she would kill me should we meet again face to face…hopefully Shion isn’t quite as angry. The thought made him shift a bit on his toes, offering a faint smile. “This bar looks nice. Did the plans change from the casino?” he asked, hoping they could just catch up on things he missed and rekindle their old companionship.

Not as angry... he was pissed off right at the moment, the pieces of training that Nobu had given him in the past, was something of the past right now. He gritted his teeth as he was activating his curse. The pattern on his arm started to crawl up to his neck and over his body underneath the clothes. He would walk towards the young adult. His eyes were small and had almost an intent to kill. He took a long strike towards the other and aimed to hit him hard. Luckily for Shun... He wasn't a Taijutsu user at the moment anymore. He tried to strike the other as hard as he could. "HEEH, I ain't hearing you!" He gritted his teeth right after and you could see his eyebrow twitch. A common notice that he was losing it and probably not even listening anymore to reason.

"Look since?! Casino?! You have no idea that he is dead huh?!" He would attempt to strike out again towards Shun, not caring if it did or didn't hit. "Nobu is dead, killed because of no information inside the gates, Sumiko is inside the ANBU jails and Satoru is still missing!" And with that he would undo his gloves.. playtime was over, this was getting real now with the other. "I won't stand here listening to that..." he would cock his head slightly towards his shoulder as he dropped the gloves to the ground. "I will make you pay right here and right now." However... something was not quite right with his cursemark... It seemed to fade.

Seeing Shion snap at him so suddenly after he was trying to defend himself really set Shun off a bit. It looks like their friendship had been forgotten, not that Shun could really blame him given he didn’t know what happened to Shion since he left. However, the attack flying his way was a big surprise. He didn’t prepare for a fight, so the first punch nearly landed. He reeled back, thankfully avoiding the second hit as well. It seemed he really had said something wrong, especially hearing the information on their clan members. He wasn’t expecting everything to fall apart in his absence, even less that their leader would wind up dead and Asuka imprisoned. “How was I supposed to know anything? It’s not like I have had the chance to travel out and ask around about a clan I’m not supposed to be known to be part of!”

Shun jumped back a bit, trying to put a little distance between them. “Shion, I don’t want to fight you. Please, we can just talk it out!”

However, it seemed Shion was beyond the point of “talking things out” given his curse seal that was flickering out. It confused Shun a bit, seeing it there but not working properly. Could it be because of the death of the person who initially gave it to him? “Fine. You want a fight? Let’s fight.” He would do his best not to kill his friend, because all he wanted was to reconnect, but it looked like he would have to knock some sense into Shion.

He had been so filled with rage... That he wasn't even listening anymore. He wasn't even thinking clearly anymore and the first two punches even missed. It was clear that he wasn't shaped for that kind of life anymore... Thus, he had to reveal some of his true self these days. A mental pain was on his mind from his back, his arm where the curse seal was.
That was when he declared the dual to the other and just went ham... If he wasn't going to hit shun by taijutsu, then it would be ninjutsu.

Shun knew that this would likely get out of hand, but he decided to try and play defensive. Nothing in him wanted to hurt his old friend. However, Shion definitely wasn't taking it easy on him. Shun couldn't land many hits, even with his defensive moves. Shion really had grown in strength, it was good to see even if Shun was the one endangered by this advancement. The battle was definitely taking a toll on Shun. The jutsu Shion were using were also some he had never seen in person before. It almost seemed as if...could Shion be blind? But he was landing hit after hit. Just how long had he been fighting without his eyes?

Shun knew he wouldn't last very long if he didn't get more damage in. It was time to adjust his fighting style. He only hoped that he could last long enough to let Shion get out the harshest of his anger.

He was not going to hold back, he would refuse to hold back, but at the same time, he just did something towards the other. Not even sure about the who, what, or where. He knew that he was hitting some sweet spots because it seemed that he did a lot of damage. Not only that, but he had his buddy Aki on the fields now. "Oi... Young master, what do you need?" The yokai asked and through the contract mastery they held a deep connection, one people would never be able to hear out loud. ' He is the traitor to our clan. The clan that used to be!' And with that... Aki looked the guy over and noticed who he was. ' Isn't that your tiny lover Shun?'
'URUSAI!' Shion scolded out loud and Aki decided... he would go easy on the kid, after all. It already seemed like a one-sided fight from this part. With that he would throw a small genjutsu on the kid, of course, it would be a cursed genius, since his affinity was cursed. "Try not to die kid, he ain't a brilliant healer!" Aki yelled towards Shun, but Shion already came back in with a roaring combination and made sure to land the last attack harshly.
Yet you could see his anger was subsiding a little, also because he was panting like he already had run a marathon. He often held his breath when he was attacking, and he would grit his teeth. The guys inside the bar would be half hiding at this point, they never saw Shion this angry so far and were all just baffled.

Shun was taking hit after hit, and despite Shion's visual impairment, he couldn't land a damn strike. He could tell he wouldn't last a whole lot longer. He momentarily heard Shion and his Contract arguing a little, and Shun swallowed thickly hearing what Aki had to say.
He could play it safe, and he probably would, for his own health's sake, but he needed to do something. Shion was not taking it easy on him, he at least needed to restrain his old friend until he could calm down some.

Shun rolled his shoulders back, wiping a bit of blood from his cheek with the back of his hand. He looked down at his weapon, thinking back on all his training and what could possibly help him in this fight. An idea struck him. It was definitely reckless, and it could easily get him killed, but it was worth a shot at this point.
