Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kureji wished that he would be able to sleep. But the images of Kohana running away from him after she kissed him was still fresh in his mind. After he got back to the hotel room, he had tried to take his mind off of the past few hours. He took what felt like an hour shower that was only thirty minutes. Afterwards, he would go to work fixing his guitar, adding in more durable metal components so that it won't be destroyed so easily in the future. And finally he played a tune on his guitar, Audio Medic, a puppet technique, since his guitar also serves as a puppet weapon for him. His physical injuries have all healed but not the memories...

Eventually he would try his best to go to sleep only to end up tossing and turning throughout the night. Overall, he probably only has gotten a couple hours of actual sleep. But no matter what he does, he still ends up thinking about Kohana. Finally, it would be about morning time where he would get himself out of bed after an unsuccessful night of sleep, or lack thereof, and think of what to do next.

He would pace around his hotel room until he finally had an idea. He would get her a gift. Women like gifts. Maybe he can get her some gifts as a sorry. At least, he thinks it will be a sorry gift as he thinks that he is the reason why she ran away from him. So he would hit up the commercial district after he cleaned himself up and went out to look at all the shops and vendors.

There was a lot to really take in. Mainly that of so many options of what to get her. Kureji eventually found himself in some high end jewelry store and stopped to look at it all. Women like jewelry, yes? Then again, Kohana isn't like all other women. Which is why he fell so hard for her. But if she does...

The rock star would mull over some rings as an employee would come over to help him. "How may I help you sir?" It was a young woman, in her early twenties. "Are you thinking about marrying the love of your life?"

Kureji's face turned a deep shade of red. Not because of the woman's looks, but rather what she said. Marrying? Love of your life? It is true that Kureji had confessed to Kohana that he would choose her forever and always. Take it a step further and say that he would die for her. But marrying? Even though he had said all of that to Kohana, that word seemed very foreign for him to hear much less even think about.

"Well... I.... Uh..." He stammered. Kureji would rub the back of his neck before he finally said, "I want my feelings to reach her. To let her know that..." His voice trailed off. Even talking about Kohana is hard.

The employee must have sensed something about his inner turmoil and then directed his attention to the rings. "Is there any particular ring that you know she will like?"

Kureji would tap a finger on his chin. He would give it a thought before speaking up, "Well there's only two real options, I would say. Gold and blue, to match her looks. Or red and black to match her personality. She also loves dark red that is nearly like the color of rust. So maybe that would be the better option?"

Sunrise, sunrise. "I'll be headed on now." With only those words, Uzi walked away from the village's gates. Nothing happened that night. No visitors, no one leaving. It was quiet. Sitting in the office filling out paperwork.

He took a stroll through the village as the sky began it usual purple and orange scene. Something the early birds were able to see. Those that missed it, would get another chance during the night hours. Uzi himself would try to catch it twice. The village seemed just as quiet. Not many out during the early mornings, but as the Earth continued to move, the sun began to peak. The sky would turn a blue hue, and one could count the clouds in the sky if they would dare. None hiding the sun, giving the village enough light for those to see the beauty before them.

Finding himself in the Commercial District, he wondered what acts were around. It was always nice to watch the street actors and actresses perform their works. It was always something different, whether they were displaying their art, dancing around, performing magic tricks. Whatever the case, it was always a great idea to stroll around the area for a while. It wasn't as glamorous as it used to be before the war times, but excitement still filled the place. Uzi loved the scene, even during these days. He tipped a dancing mime, who was really breaking it down. The silence spoke volumes. Uziuke tipped the act and gave a generous amount of yen to the face painted performer. Some tried to appease him when wearing his suits, it was just his sense of style, but a dead giveaway to being a great yen holder.

Today he wore a long sleeve black button up shirt, that went well with his black slack pants. A pair of black loafers at his feet. His white hair tied behind his head, reaching to his mid back area. Office casual as he called it. He continued on, looking for another street performance. He made his way to a jewelry shop, strolling along while taking a peep through the glass doors of the establishment. He saw a single customer inside, talking to one of the managers he supposed. 'It wouldn't be a bad idea to step inside. I could take a look at the earrings while inside.' Uzi walked inside, overhearing the conversation the two were having. He became curious, a trait that never left him since his youth, though he learned that his curiosity could get him killed at times.

He stepped over and looked at the rings a bit away from the two. "You know, I never heard of a woman turning down a diamond." Uzi now looked over to the two, noticing something familiar about the customer. He didn't quite know it was Kureji yet, his appearance was drastically different. He used to wear that mask all the time, so Uzi wouldn't know off of first hand.

Kureji was only a little bit aware of someone else stepping into the store. A man who.... Looked familiar to him, but he can't quite put the name to mind nor how he feels this guy is familiar to him. He was also a bit more preoccupied looking for what Kohana would like. She just has this effect on him and he can't get enough of her. Only thing is... Now he's trying to find the perfect "i'm sorry." gift for a reason that he doesn't even quite know why he's sorry about.

Then the man talked. Familiar voice. He racked his brain as he tried to figure out who this man is. But he also listened to what he had to say. Diamond?

The saleswoman seems to have sensed that Kureji doesn't even know what a diamond looks like, so she walked over to another area where there was an array of diamond rings. Kureji would mull over them before saying, "I dunno man... She's not like any other woman I've ever laid eyes on. Her personality is 'I'll punch you in the face for looking at me the wrong way!' Or smash a guitar over someone's head and then proceed to flip them off, type of personality. She's not really like a gentle princess-y type and I'm head over heels for her."

He would fully look at the other man in the eyes. What's up with this guy? Why does he seem so familiar? Kureji would run his hands through his hair before going back to the jewelry and contemplating over it all. The prices alone would make any normal man hesitate. Even Kureji himself as a rock star with now more than enough funds rolling in thanks to a lot of people in Wind Country liking his music would see some of the prices and think Eesh.

"But... If I were to go along with this diamond idea, should I get her other things too? Like a necklace and earrings. But make those her favorite color?" He asked, mainly for the man to answer.
