Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

After the tournament at the Vespasian Coliseum, Kaji was exhausted. Beaten, bloodied, and battered once more. But this time, he was victorious, even against his greatest fears. Of course, the match had been broadcast on the local radio. So it came as no surprise that he found a very angry mama when he knocked on the front door later that night. He had suspected as much. However, all of that anger immediately dissipated into tears of fear and worry the instant Ms. Yua Hirohito got a look at all of those wounds.

She could use her healing jutsus and herbal medicines on him of course, but the mental trauma from when Kaji almost died came rushing back full force. It took him almost 3 full hours before she would even talk to him. But when he could he confessed everything, holding nothing back despite how badly it upset her. His honesty and pragmatism eventually sank in, allowing his mother to lose herself in the stories of his failures, his fears, everything. Then she understood why he did it, why her son put himself so far into harms way. He was hurting, weighed down by unnecessary feelings, and needed to be free. The only way to do that however had been to conquer his fear once and for all. Upset as she was, Yua couldn't deny that her son was strong, and had managed to succeed despite the major risk.

Naturally, she felt responsible that he had even managed to get away with it in the first place. So the grounding he received was just as strict as her own. But there was still the matter of the wolf pelts, the ones that weren't completely destroyed were incredibly valuable, not to mention the mounted heads. Rather than keep them all, Yua was determined to get rid of them, but she yielded to the idea of Kaji keeping one of the mounts and pelts for himself. Though she wasn't sure what he would do with them. The rest would be sold in the market however, much to Kaji's delight. It was almost surprising just how resilient her little boy is, and just how much he looks like his father... Shaking the thought away, they each dressed in their lightest attire, and set about the laborious task of transport.

No-one even bothered to give them a side eye on the way there, the fire in their eyes was enough to set them walk-running to the other side of the roads. The dealer gave them a ludicrously good deal. Mostly because she and her daughter loved to listen to the matches on the radio, and had become avid fans of Yua's little upstart. Apparently, there were even bets as to how quickly the wolves would win, so the upset had come as a major surprise to everyone. Everyone, except this little family on the fringe of the market who knew talent when they heard it. From Kaji's description, to his loadout, to the rumors circling around the lower levels of the city. These rumors told of a red haired boy, half-dead with a broken arm who killed an entire army of wolves, then strolled back to the village hospital without food or water before collapsing at the front desk. A fairly uncommon rumor, mostly passed over and forgotten due to it's ludicrous nature, but the little family of two remembered. And so they bet everything they had on the loser, Kaji Hirohito. Foolish the men had called them, suckers even, being the only ones to bet against the pot. But in the end, they were the ones who walked away rich as kings with 1.5 million yen. As it were, several of the rich upper class had been doing some high stakes gambling at the time, intent to siphon more money from the trashy public to pad their coffers. That is also why they couldn't interfere with the legitimate transfer of money when they lost, lest they incur the wrath of the raikage or worse, the shogun.

So what goes around comes around, and after confirming their identities through the newspaper the generous shopkeep overpaid in spades, bestowing a fetching 270,000 yen unto the woman and her son that had saved them from financial ruin. With cases full of money, they made their way to the bank to make a deposit. Knowing full well his mother had never seen so many zeros in her bank account before, Kaji insisted that she take it. After all, she always knew how to save better than he ever did, so to ensure it's future growth Ms. Yua Hirohito opened her first ever 5 year certificate and deposited all but 70,000 yen in addition to her own personal savings of 30,000 yen to buy her family a new house. But it was within his own bank account that Kaji had found the winnings from such a profound match. The commissioners had been absolutely ecstatic with the massive ratings uptick, many listeners of which had seemingly come to stay. So it was the least they could do to sweeten the pot on the young man's winnings to 50,000 yen. Kaji tried to pass the funds unto his mother once again but she declined, after all he had paid for it in blood. Heading home for the night, they both were in high spirits cherishing the first good fortune that either had felt in far too long.

A week later, Ms. Yua Hirohito became the owner of a brand new home in the Seki District. A dream once thought impossible finally realized after decades of hard work. It was a beautiful 4 room, 4 bath, and two story home lit with soft warm lights dotted throughout the house. Complete with a back yard, a small coy pond, and a zen garden. Overwhelmed by the size, Kaji and his mother Yua both agreed that they would send word by land to his Grandma and Grandpa back home so that they could both come out of the fields to enjoy the comforts of civilization to retire.
