Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kana had ran away from her home and took her family fortune with her. This left her adoptive parents in quite the confusion and panic. It wasn't something the girl was prepared to deal with at the time. Unable to truly be able to tell them her plans and what her intent was. They would have worried, and they would have stopped her. At least done everything in their power to. Today is her first day back home in almost three years. Today is also Kana's fifteenth birthday. Though going back home still wasn't an easy task. Instead of returning to an obvious celebration of her return the young girl would instead mill about the district in which she lived. She would stop at a vendor that was selling something sweet which smelled particularly good. Normally Kana would not snack on such things but it was her birthday after all.
The young Uchiha could be seen sitting on a stone step biting into a warm dough covered in sugar. Fried? It had to be. She was informed it was called a churro. A treat she'd never heard of before but would now commit to memory. Her shoulder length hair flowed in the soft breeze that covered the dunes. If it weren't for that, as well as the stand-out appearance of her eyes, she would be nearly camouflage against the sandy terrain and similar colored buildings. Most of the villagers payed mind to avoid Kana and it was noticeable. After all, she was a monster, something she was beginning to accept.
The young girl would sit and enjoy her treat. Simply allowing the sun to bake her skin and bask in its warmth for a small while. It was uncommon for Kana to enjoy the outdoors here but she had been spending a lot more time underground so it was a nice change of pace.
Scanning around she would see if there was anything of interest or of note in particular. She was beginning to look for any excuse to not venture back to her home and face what she was beginning to imagine as wrath instead of joy.

She had been told to stay within the hospital grounds. She had been told to stay within sight of her shinobi escort. She had been told that her injuries would worsen if she strained herself. She had been told a lot of things, and this was not the first time that she did not listen to what she had been told.

Bandages wrapped most of her exposed skin, stained a faint brown from the salve that covered her entire body. Thankfully most of this was covered by the white medial robe that she had borrowed when she snuck free from the hospital, bearing the glyph of some medic that Kazumi was not familiar with. Her newly washed hair stood curiously out on her head, which was otherwise simialryl wrapped up in the cloth, with only a small incision she had made for her mouth and her eyes. It was an eerie sight to behold, with the faint front tint occasionally dotted with red from the fissures that had broken open. Those stung quite a bit, and perhaps she should have listened to the nurses more, but this was not the first time she did not listen to good advice.

Making her way down the feet with pilfered sandals, she idly made her way through the sunny streets of the villages. Shinobi attire was often eccentric but she still stood out amongst most the populace, looking like a cadaver wrapped in the robes of a medic. The stares and muttered comments she occasionally heard were actually quite amusing and served as a welcome distraction from being locked up like a prisoner in that sterile environment for too long. She had no place to go in particular, and while she intended to return to the hospital eventually, she let her nose guide her as the allure of cooked food prodded at her deprived stomach. It was unfortunate that the robes did not conveniently contain its owner's coin purse, but when the opportunity had presented itself, money was not the most forefront thought in her mind. So she was left with the same means she often had, walk through the streets and see what opportunities arose.

Kana would lick her fingers as she finished the last few delectable bites of her churro. Her tongue would dart out and dash across her lips sucking up any extra sugar or cinnamon that was missed. An audible sigh of contentment could be heard coming from the young girl before her hands moved to her midsection and rubbed softly. It had been a good while since she had tasted something so damn delicious. For a moment it even allowed her to forget all about what she had to accomplish today, and while that should be where her mind immediately refocused, it wasn't. Walking down the streets of the marketplace was what Kana could only assume was some sort of mummy? Could it be that something undead had infiltrated their village? Well, this was precisely the type of excuse that the young Uchiha had been hoping for. Distant became the thoughts of returning home as she would stand and stretch.

Swirling grey filled her hues as the three black dots spun in an endless pinwheel. Most dared not even look her in the eyes anymore to see the change that had taken place. Though now, she would be able to use her new found visual precision to keep track of the strange... girl? As her vision allowed her to zoom in to the kunoichi her immediate assumption would be confirmed. The figure was considerably older than herself, and this piqued Kana's curiosity. The only way someone could end up that badly injured is if they were a fighter. Having never seen this person before she wasn't sure of what rank they held within the village, though an immediate assumption is that it was higher than her own. Perhaps there was some great battle, or she was rescuing a friend from a horde. Who knows? Kana certainly did not. Though the goal now would be to find out.

'Oh my god. It's so Hot.' was all Kana could think. The sun was beginning to beat down a bit harder, and Kana particularly hated being outside in such conditions. Careful and concise effort was made to dash from the shadow of one overhang to the next as she very slowly made her way over to this mummified figure. On the way, she would stop and purchase another one of the churro's that she found so delicious. Holding it within the wrapping she would make her way carefully over to older woman.

"I umm... Are you.. ummm..."

A bite at her lip and shyly turning her head to the side as her hand raised as if scratching her head. There was so much she wanted to ask, but none of it came out.

"Are you okay? Well I got this for you. Okay? Thanks. Bye."

Immediately she would turn and start to walk back to her stoop already thinking to herself, 'Stupid Stupid. Thanks Bye? Ugh, I didn't even find out if they were a shinobi or what caused all of that', and it was in that very moment Kana realized that her small hands were still clutching onto the churro. Nervousness had caused her to grip it tightly and the middle was now thoroughly smooshed. What a wreck.

Their last 'mission' was a complete failure, mainly because Hato couldn't keep his head with it. Shion knew why but didn't stir too much in that kettle. After all they weren't living at their usual place either since Hato's father suddenly vanished. "He can rot for all I care... Not leaving me... fck that." Hato scolded as he kicked a can, but then eventually saw a scene unfolding. Shion had noticed this too and smirked a little.

"I umm... Are you.. ummm... Are you okay? Well I got this for you. Okay? Thanks. Bye." Hato made a tsk sound with his mouth as he looked towards it, thinking about how she was going to leave the scene. But she remained to stay where she did. Shion would move forward first before Hato would be moving with him. "Oi... You alright? I know what ditching a Medical ward is... but are you sure you should be so plain in the open? As for you, you aren't good at this are you..?" Hato commented and his eyes shifted from one to the other. And Shion started to act too. "Hmm~! Maybe she is in trouble too Hato-kun..." "Kun my ass, you know that. It ain't much, but if you wish to we have a place where you can lay low... Just don't share it with everyone.." Hato would scribble on a piece of paper and offer it to them. "Heah... Hato, we shouldn't just everyone give our base." "Who knows what they have been through Shion. You should know." "True.. but st-" "What are you both doing around here in a hot day without shade?" Shion couldn't have it being ignored and started to puff his cheeks and cross his arms.
