Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

He had no idea how this person was still tracking him. Hohsikata was curious how they even got on his trail in the first place. He had been perfect in the attack, no survivors except the guard outside the stairs, and that guy was oblivious until the smoke began rising, and those corpses were long gone by then. The message sent from their deaths, in their own sanctuary, was the one he wanted Tenkei to have. That the man was not safe, no matter where he hid.

But someone had begun trailing him not long after. He used his tricks, which were few, to try and shake them. Instead they kept getting closer. And the worst part he had yet to catch sight of them. He was relying on the spirits to let him know it was still out there, and it was gaining. So instead of continuing to run he would ambush it. Granted, that didn't work the last time this happened. Bad idea. So he kept moving.

After a few more miles he finally caught sight of them, a figure in a brown jacket with the hood up, it's hands covered with gloves. Jeans and shoes under it. No visible skin, but glowing yellow eyes shown from under that hood, giving the Seer a moment's pause. He was being hunted by what looked like a kid from a science fiction movie. Funny.

As it kept getting closer, he would keep getting more agitated. How was a kid managing to catch him? Finally the Seer snaps, spinning and sending a wave of raw kinetic force at it. The last time he did this, he inadvertently sent Hex into a bone breaking ride down an alley. As the wall of power neared the kid, he grins thinking about the site this would be.

The grin fades as the kid stands there at it hits, and seems to part the force with a wedge of it's own kinetic power. Hoshikata steps aside as that wedge flies past and cuts through a tree behind him. Well, this kid was dangerous. He removes his tanto from it's sheath and tosses it, watching the kid duck under it and laughing as it stops in mid air and flies back at their head. And stops laughing as a stick rises up and intercepts it. The two weapons would dance in the air, the blade trying to break through and the stick holding it at bay. And the kid wasn't even watching them.

A tendril of kinetic force flies out to grip the kid tight, trapping both legs and one arm. There, let's see him handle that. He watches in mute rage as the kid just forms seals with his free hand and its own kinetic blade shears the bind. He was being made to look like a fool by some punk kid. This was bad.

He reaches out a hand, waiting patiently for what was to come. A whistling would rise, causing the child to look around for a moment before looking slightly behind Hoshikata. As the Staff of Verin flew into his grip, the Seer leaps forward, swinging the pointed tip at the child, who ducks under it and rises up, slamming a hand into Hoshikata's chest.

An intense burning sensation is his only warning before an explosive force throws him back into a tree, leaving him dazed. He watches as his tanto is ripped from his control and throw at him, landing beside him on the ground. And a voices rises, squeaky and high pitched.

”You're not very good at this.”

Hoshikata rises with a snarl, his mind reaching out into the other's. It was alien to him, these thoughts, but he knew chakra. Soon the child begins looking around for him, as to it, Hoshikata would have vanished. He reappears, the globe leading, and slaps the kid with it hard enough to send them sprawling. The pointed cap comes down, nearly impaling a leg on the swiftly moving child.

His staff bats aside a flung stick, and raw kinetic power fuses with fire before lashing at the child. The kinetic razor is flung aside, but the fire right behind it pierces through and washes the child, who somehow rolls free without losing any clothing. Those glowing yellow orbs look at Hoshikata's own gold ones before a giggle sounds out.

It begins as a soft breeze, but that's enough warning for the Seer to vanish from sight, cloaking himself in shadows and running. This thing, this was no kid, it was dangerous. As the tornado rises around its form, it begins to give chase. That much chakra, that much power, he could not match. A hard pill to swallow, that some kid could overpower a god, but Hoshikata had never been one for sheer, brute force.

Another genjutsu is sent out, and the child veers away, running in another direction. Hoshikata wastes no time in himself fleeing this time. He had no idea what that kid was, but it was inhuman.
