A much needed respite

Yukio walked into the ramen stand taking a seat and leaning his head onto the counter it had been a rough few days between his training and missions to prove himself as a member of the ANBU branch he had very little to no time to take a break and just enjoy life, even now he couldn't help but look over his shoulder to see if anyone was ready to jump on him to test his reflexes. This luckily was not the case realising he was becoming somewhat paranoid some time off might do him a world of good.

As he ordered the largest bowl of ramen he could he enjoyed the smells and sights of the place, it was always impressive how quickly and friendly the service was here especially after a long day of work. Something the young man had come to appreciate in recent months.

Ar his school time he slowly went towards the streets. In his hand, he carried his yen. COunting out what he had and slowly Shio left a sigh. "I should have enough.." Were the words he was muttering to himself. Slowly he started to walk around, his phase rather slow as if he didn't want to walk or move. He peeked in the distance and saw a stand which he knew was famous. "I do have enough for that." His smile grew wider and his phase went from a slow walk towards a jogging one. He didn't want to get there out of breath.
As he was starting to get closer a scent welcomed him already. A delicious smell not to forget.

Once he was finally inside he wanted to say hello to the person behind the counter but his stomach was first. It gave a rather loud growl as a greeting which made the small boy grow red in his face. Instantly the boy wrapped his arms around his own waist in the hope that he muted the sound a little. "S-sorry... uhm... Hello.." He said after that with a red glow on his cheeks. He looked around and saw a person already eating. He felt a bit bad to disturbs someone's eating like that.
He held his eyes on the other for a moment until he caught himself doing that. "Oh! Sorry! Sorry to have disturbed your eating.." He said not wanting to say breakfast, lunch or dinner... Since this was his own breakfast for the moment.

Shio ordered ramen for himself and sat down on one of the stools. "S-so good..." He spoke once he got the bowl in front of him. "Itakimaaaasu~" He chirped happily before breaking the sticks loose from each other and dig into the meal. Yet sometimes he let a glance go to the other male before looking again at his own meal.

Yukio was already in the process of eating a refreshed sigh escaping him as he tilted his head over to the new arrival, they seemed young more than likely a new academy student, another reminder of the days of old before going to join the ranks of the ANBU branch. He wondered how the academy was doing these days since it's renovations after a freak accident had left the place in a state.

"Seems you've been waiting for this for a while, to say the least, but you've come to the right place they serve some of the best ramen i've ever had here."

He seemed friendly enough though quite tired. Work and training were still taking their tole on him but that would be something he would just have to adjust to over time. As did all Shinobi once they earned the right to join one of the branches.
