Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ezo allowed whoever left the note to slide it under her door without a scuffle, so, it must’ve been from someone who was allowed to have access to her. Eiki brought Yomi the note and she looked at it in befuddlement, wondering what it could be.

A note from Kaori…

They had not seen each other since that ill-fated day when everything went to shit. Normally, she would be the one setting official looking letters to the Priestess, and now, there she was getting one. It was unlike Kaori to do such a thing, however, sometimes words were difficult for Kaori. Difficult in the sense that she had no filter, and maybe it was easier for her to express herself this way.

As the Hokage read the note her heart sank a bit more. It was already so low from the loss of her great love, and now, another member of her family had decided it was time to part ways. Not only did she not get a chance to say goodbye, she did not get a chance to apologize in her own Yomi way for how they left things. She was sure that all she needed was a spare moment to call Kaori into her office and hash it out. Now, it appeared that there was no longer enough time. For someone who would live forever, she felt like time was sand in her hands.

This was terrible news in the Hokage’s eyes even though Kaori had every right to choose her own path and find her ninja-way without Yomi’s helicoptering. Unlike the loss of Umashi, she could take comfort in the fact that she received a notice of departure and an idea of where she ran off too. Besides, Yomi really meant what she said about Kaori being able to summon her. If she willed it, Yomi would always appear before her. Yomi also wished she could have seen Kaori’s bright smile and enjoy her feisty personality once more, Rei knows she needs the help keeping her spirits up.

Still, Kaori leaving was horrible timing, and Yomi began to believe that the universe was actively working against her. These slights did not go unnoticed and once she returned to her proper form, she would deal with this entire thing, outside of the mortal realm.

“Be safe, Just Kaori.” Yomi would say a prayer to Rei that is Yomi for Kaori’s protection and her safe return.
