It was a quiet day one that from the outside would seem like it would be just like any other streaks of light passing through the window illuminating the room Yukio seated by a small table. The home itself was nothing extravagant then again that was the way he preferred it wearing a white kimono with black trims there was a moments pause to enjoy the warmth of the sunlight against his skin before rising to his feet, this would not be a normal day for the Hyuuga his mind concerned more about the state of the place than the weather outside.

He was not the messy type and never one to let the place go below his own standards but an eye for detail was something he couldn't prevent walking around the home at a slow pace his eyes picking up smaller details or inconstancies before sighing shaking his head at his own actions. "Now, Now don't overthink anything, after all doing things in a more natural manner has always been the best way to do things." Mumbling the words to himself he brought himself before a mirror the reflection staring back at him bringing a sigh from the Captain.

Much had changed over the many years of him living within the Uchiha household even now he could still picture the young and naïve boy sights set on the far future not expecting what was to come of it. Around the home itself were the few memories that had been carried along through him time in leaf the old ANBU robes hanging by the door, masks from the days as an AiT hanging just above it. A single photo sat at the entrance the living room a rather young Yukio only around the age of six a girl around the same age at his side the same ivory hair flowing across her shoulders with an older couple behind them, a couple that one could only assume are his parents.

He'd requested Mikasa once more for this day a special event in mind for her after the promise made on top of Hokage rock the source of his rather frantic mood that midday, bringing a hand up to scratch the back of his head remembering the letter sent to her. The door unlocked to allow for easy access should she arrive, the guards of the household informed beforehand he would have company that day.

Letter:
Mikasa

Though we met not too long ago I request your time once more, though unlike our last meeting under less professional circumstances, I remember what you said to me that day and have something special in mind regarding the words you spoke to me. Do not worry about entrance to the Uchiha household I have informed everyone in advance of your arrival so you may enter without issue someone will meet you to guide you I must admit its not the easiest place to navigate. The door will be unlocked on your arrival so please feel free to let yourself in.

- Yukio

A courier fowl lands upon the windowsill of the Medical Sennin's petite apartment, nearly blending in against the planted flowers dangling over the balcony of the family below. Mikasa was an oddity in that regard, choosing to live among the citizens in the average living space made her feel far more comfortable than a manor that the Uchiha Clan resides within. Rummaging about a hand full of sunflowers seeds are removed from a tiny pouch, the creature content with accepting the offering before departing against the gorgeous sky blue above and vanishing against the clouds above. Curiously the kunoichi's fingertips toy with the letter, determining the sender either Suyashi to announce his return to the village or that of Hyuuga Yukio.

Curiously an index finger prods against the delicate flesh of her cheek, unsure of the promise the ANBU Captain wrote of, "What sort of attire do I wear? Is this a formal event due to taking place in the Uchiha manor?" she contemplates in thought. Not wishing to risk the chance, Mikasa also takes notice of there not being a particular set time to arrive. Frowning, the sennin furrows her brow, "Perhaps lunch? I would be late if I assumed breakfast. Despite knowing him for so long, I still can't figure out how he misses the important minor details." Shaking her head, the platinum mane woman assumes the former rather than the later, "Yukio-san, Yukio-san, Yukio-san. A tough predicament you place me within." the woman murmurs in a tender tone.

A few hours would pass, neat and pressed attire veil her frame and the standard appearance of a neat braid sways as she paces forward. The manor seemed to lack signs of life, the palm of the woman's hand nearly comes into contact with the enormous doorway before being met with a guide who was kind enough to reiterate he was to be expecting her. Merely nodding, she glances around with her tundra orbs in hopes of discovering multiple individuals enjoying themselves. "For being one of the foremost largest clans in Konohagakure, its quite silent, is it not?" she inquires to the guide.

After what deemed itself a handful of minutes, Mikasa is presented with an entry to an unknown room. Hesitantly she presses the doors ajar, "Yukio-san? I was unsure if we were to meet while the sun was out or after!" she calls out.

Stepping through the halls of the mansion the guide tilted his head back to the maiden giving pause the cogs in his mind turning to deliberate an answer to that question. "Very much so most of the younger members are out training, the elders going around business of their own though it is not my place to know what such things entail, however..." Another pause another short moment as even he seemed to be pondering the same question. "Though I must admit even when the household is full this place remains much the same, non but the clan head come here and those visits are few and far between. Maybe he appreciates the quiet though that's an assumption on my part."

Silencing himself thereafter there was a bow as he departed opening the door to the place would reveal a short corridor leading to a wide room three doors in the back leading elsewhere, Yukio tilted his head looking away from the Mirror a slight smile of embarrassment coming across his features as he spoke. "Well I may be many things but perfect doesn't seem to be one of them though your sense of timing is something I give praise too though I have been ready myself for some time this place is as much my workshop as it is my home within the clan house"

Taking a few strides over to the door the first thing that came to the Hyuuga's mind was how pleasant it would be to have Mikasa's company after the events of the last few weeks it came as a relief. Approaching the door to open it further allowing the Sennin entry to the home with a wave of his hand a slight aroma hanging in the air fresh and giving a slight spike on the senses yet not overwhelming. "I do hope the trip here wasn't too bad though I'm sure on days like this it's rather quiet especially around here, away from the main area of the household that's usually the case. Please come in and make yourself comfortable there isn't much, I know but make yourself at home it's quite rare I have people come here so Takeshi will not pay mind to it."

Not wishing to intrude on the daily activities of the escort, Mikasa gives her thanks and finds herself grateful to encounter a familiar face. Often the populace of Konohagakure gesture towards insurmountable distances to cross to attend an activity upon the opposite end of the village; however Mikasa welcomed the challenge, "I was unsure if you meant for lunch or dinner, I didn't wish to take the risk." she re-explains with a sheepish grin. Leaning forward her arms would snake around the neck of the ANBU Captain, Mikasa's azure gaze settles against the radiant emerald of the Hyuuga, "I am also unsure if this official business or not, your letter was extremely vague." she teases the shinobi prior to releasing her clutches.

Leaning forward, the kunoichi peers forward curiously, adjusting to the sunlight difference, "What sort of home does our fabled ANBU Captain live within?" she inquires in a curious tone, beginning to prowl about in hopes of discovering an item of interest. The various designs of ANBU masks were amusing, however her focus shifts onto the youngster version of Yukio and instantly her hands clasp against the frame. Unhinging the photo she holds it outwards towards the ivory hair male, bearing a wide grin, "I'm surprised, you didn't have long hair in this photo." the sennin teases before placing the photo upon the wall once more.

Taking the liberty to explore, the kunoichi rounds the corridor to enter the living quarters, taking a seat on the nearest available. Unsure of what the day would bring, the Sennin readjusts her focus on the off chance this was to be a serious meeting, considering the status of the two. Clasping her hands upon her lap, she awaits for her host to settle across from her, beginning to settle the business matter for the eve. With luck, the affairs of the village wouldn't require a considerable amount of time.

Looking down at the maiden the familiar smile came across the Hyuuga's features the feeling of her arms around his neck a warm feeling of closeness building in his chest hands coming to a rest at Mikasa's sides for that brief moment. "Well as you may have guessed by now this is an unofficial visit, we need not think about work only enjoy the evening. I will to cooking dinner this evening for both of us." With that he leaned towards her the soft touch of his lips meeting her own, Appreciation for her arrival and understanding to his mistake.

Taking a few strides alongside her into the home he chuckled at the Sennin's curiosity watching as she investigated through the area. "What kind of home indeed only through exploring may you find out." A jovial manner could be heard in his tone looking at the picture before him . "Ah that was a long time ago, not a care in the world in those days sis was always a handful for all of us though they always made sure we stayed presentable those two." He burst into laughter the distant memory being a rather fond one to him taking a moment to lean against the entrance.

"I know it's not much most of my things are kept in these side rooms wish to be presentable." He gestured to each of the doors in turn starting from the closest. "bedroom, kitchen and bathroom keep it simple and speaking of which." Leaving the room for a brief moment before returning with a tray the smell of brewed tea filling the air the aroma made to impact the senses a refreshing feeling to fill the body as he laid it down handing her a cup before taking a seat beside Mikasa.

He didn't speak in a serious tone taking advantage of the calm atmosphere the feeling of having company in his own home created. "Before we begin I should ask how have you been holding up as of late? I do hope the branch has been somewhat easy on you given what's been required of you as of late. Wouldn't want you to wear yourself out so early in the afternoon." Leaning back into the chair he wasn't speaking as the Captain of the ANBU branch nor as the Shinobi of leaf at this moment in time he was simply the man Hyuuga Yukio.

Reclining against the furniture, Mikasa allows a wisp to escape her lips, "I'm soon to give an exam to the current medical personnel to become fully fledged. From that point, I will integrate them into their new workload and ultimately begin selecting a proper medical chief." the Sennin forms the ANBU Captain, "It would appear my free time is to continue to be limited." she chuckles gently, raising a brow at the statement Yukio slides into the conversation, "Wear myself out so early in the afternoon?" the maiden inquires with a mischievous grin, "Quite bold of you." Mikasa remarks, ultimately sure there wasn't a defined intention to the words the ivory Hyuuga spoke.

Unraveling the platinum braid, her mane cascades downwards and her spectacles removed to allow the freedom she desperately sought for; despite her difficulty with vision, the distance between the two enough for her to view appropriate detail. Raising the cup to her lips, the Sennin gratefully sips away at the nectar prior to carefully placing the teacup upon the nearest tabletop. Snaking her arm underneath his, the kunoichi's frame leans against the male, "I assume you have an agenda for us to follow? You seem to always have a specific idea in mind." she remarks closing her eyes to catch a momentary power nap.

In the midst of the silence, Mikasa had forgotten that Yukio had an odd home within a home, leaving her to wonder how many others residing with the Uchiha sector do so. Unusual thoughts plague her conscious, a box within a box. Never the least she snaps back to reality, ajaring a single eye to stare upwards against the emerald of the Hyuuga Captain. There practices with one another seemed to stagnate, yet each held an unusual amount of patience with one another.

He listened closely, a way to break the ice certainly as Yukio listened to the maiden's words, it seemed she had a set idea of how to get things flowing within the med branch and though he didn't have the same issues within ANBU that was a completely different set of problems that brought a slight sigh from the ANBU's lips thinking on it. This process of thought was quickly removed from his mind, however, snapping back to reality as the emerald orbs looked upon the Sennin. "Always the mischevious one, I know that grin." He didn't seem to mind all too much though a slight rosy hue flushed through his cheeks.

As Mikasa came to lean against him his arms shift pulling them into embrace hoping to give comfort and give a brief moment of quiet before he found himself faced with a question. "That I do on most occasions, quite the thinker but that's not the case this evening. The way I see it the more I think about something the more it becomes like business rather than a pleasant time like it should be the more time goes I come to realize if I just follow what I feel acting upon it when the time is right then the hesitation dwindling in the mind feels more like a distant memory."

Tilting his head down to meet her gaze it brought him back to their time in tea country the scene before him being something familiar though unlike last time there was something different about it though he couldn't quite place his finger on it. Bringing a hand back to move the maiden's hair from the one revealed eye the glow of his own eyes seemed relaxed though pondering. "Comfortable?" He chuckled leaning back into the chair slightly to make sure she was truly comfortable.

Raising her gaze, the milky emerald hues command for attention. Nonchalantly the platinum mane maiden bobs her head, "Fairly, although if you asked me a few years ago during your recovery I would have replied negatively." Mikasa murmurs, the subject she speaks of pertains to the period of time he was in the Medical Sennin's care. The years that had passed between the pair recollect within her thoughts on a reel of photos, ranging from their initial encounter on the Hokage Rock to the tender moments of Tea Country. A rose flush surfaces on her features, the mere thought of the ordeal in Tea Country catch the kunoichi off guard.

Relinquishing her grip upon the ANBU Captain, her frame dramatic pivots to settle into the lap of the captain, her locks snuggling against the chin of the shinobi. One may have labeled this as impulsive, yet the academy student Uchiha Asuka was able to envelop her sensei; therefore Mikasa should be comfortable with her current predicament. Her oceanic hues falter to her digits, rolling delicately against one another, "This is a bit more comfortable." she murmurs nearly inaudibly. In the moment she had forsaken the title of Sennin, merely the woman known as Tsukasa Mikasa, "You wouldn't mind canceling the plans you had in mind, would you?" she inquires, glancing upwards towards the Hyuuga.

A delicate situation, surely if one were to view her in this scenario credibility would be lost. A silent wisp escapes her pursed lips, "I feel as if I am a child." she admits aloud, returning to her former position to snake her arm against Yukio's. A sheepish grin is given, "I saw a similar action outside of the academy, though it may have been a misunderstanding on my part." Mikasa comments before glancing around for any sort of beverage.

Many years had passed since there first meeting though it was never like this in the beginning though the passage of time had seen the two grow closer the thought of days past bringing him to chuckle. "Yes a rather reckless time in my life like many I made mistakes of my own, mistakes I paid for and learned the harsh lesson however I do not hold myself as so easily cast aside. In order to help others I had to help myself first." A brief moment of thought the Hyuuga drifting in his words at the memory of times past thinking of how things had changed.

Tilting his head back down Yukio felt the grip on his arm loosen lifting his arms to allow the maiden to rest upon his lap before bringing arms to rest around her. "Change of plans? I would enjoy to hear what you have in mind." Head coming to rest on her own the Hyuuga was rather curious as to what was on her mind, given this was turning into an evening of surprises the Captain did not attempt to guess as to her intensions though considering the way things were going there was little in the way of complaint simply embracing each action and taking things in his stride.

Seeing her reaction to the position Mikasa placed herself in Yukio couldn't help but chuckle it was true should anyone see them the reaction would be interesting. "Well if its any bonus there would be fair warning should someone arrive, one of the benefits of living in the household." Watching her gaze cast across the room he cozied up to the Sennin thinking on talk of the academy. "I see the academy is always an interesting place I rarely find myself having a dull moment, though if there is something you seek Mikasa you need only say though there doesn't seem to be much here I keep things stored, food and numerous forms of drink just some of the things I can provide."

Yukio returned the juvenile affection Mikasa displayed, curiously her tundra gaze lifts to greet him once more, "What do I have in mind? Er, nothing of importance..." the Sennin admits with a wisp. Frustration was beginning to plague her mind, the relationship between the two was an oddity and priding herself over her own capabilities left little room for development. Clenching her left fist together, the searing sensation of nails into flesh ensues, "I'm no longer satisfied with our talks of the academy, the future generations, and what we can do to better our village." the kunoichi rambles. Drifting to potential affectionate moments to serious talks were partially her fault as well.

Unexpectedly her balled hand jabs into the side of the ANBU, despite the close proximity between the pair, there would be a bit of force behind the action. "We are supposed to be lingering our lips against one another's, whispering secrets in the dark that no one else can be privileged to hear." her tone becomes harsh, jolting upright she separates from the grasp. In that instance Mikasa's oceanic hues transfix into a crimson, her own unique Sharingan flora design surfaces, "Stand, Yukio-san." a pause, "No, Yukio." the Sennin orders, her leather boot settles on the underneath of the coffee table prior to utilizing chakra to send the furniture flying through the room to crash into the unsuspecting obstacles in its way. Debris and his personal belongings litter the air.

Loosening her necktie, the medical nin shifts her standing stance into one of combat, "We have been together for too long for us to be struggling with what comes after embracing." she comments in a darker tone, "Whatever damage may come from this, I'll ensure is compensated." the same stoic tone she utilized in the World Tournament, the rare fighting spirit she displays bears its fangs. "For your sake, I pray you reign victorious." teal chakra coats her hands, a gentle humming flutters from her fingertips - chakra scalpels.

Hearing her words, watching her actions there was no doubt in the Hyuuga's mind where the situation was going rising to his feet he remained silent a few light paces taking the man across the room to a nearby draw gloves laying within. In the moments passing by taking them to pull across his arms tilting his head back to face the maiden. "You know I understand for all it may seem like i don't sometimes, Containing all the things you want to do with the one you love. At that point you begin to ask questions doubt laying on the surface of the mind, I'm not as naive as I once was but if we're taking the oppertunity then lets get things out in the open. What we really want."

Turning on his heels the glow of his eyes narrowed focus set on the women before him there was no hesitation in those eyes no room for such things at times like this chakra starting to leak from his body an aura forming around him cracking his neck to the side. "Always a calm before the storm just hope Takeshi won't mind though that's wishful thinking at this point." was the first thought that passed through his mind currents of air crossing his arms forming cyclones around his hands the sharp sound of what could only be compared to a saw-blade whirring around the gloves.

"I have no doubt this will be no quarter given no opportunity for rest though speak your mind though the clash of fists reveals much there is a lot left in shadow we may never get the chance to say." His voice was every bit as serious as expected a deep exhale leaving the captains lungs before a sudden tension coursed over him chakra bursting fourth a pressure laying in the air. "Devastating Aura, been some time since i've used this one but whatever the situation demands." It felt strange to him to be in a situation like this but it's not like there was much choice remaining raising his hand to the maiden a few flicks of his fingers to bring her forward. "Come let us see where this takes us"

Frigid tundra orbs lock continue to transfix against the deep emerald counterpart, the humming of wind catches her attention as the stray zephyrs rustle the platinum tendrils about in a violent dance. In that moment the crimson completely exposes itself, the Sharinigan blossoms into a flower petal pattern, "Trying to exert yourself so quickly, Yukio?" she inquires with a smirk, truthfully goosebumps rise to the surface of her arms, fortunately guise by the arm sleeves. Inhaling, the Sennin's lungs expand to amass as much air as possible as her frame flickers forward halting before the dangerous proximity of the Hyuuga - unafraid to dance within the realm he were so proud to rule.

"What do you prefer, crimson or ocean blue for my eyes?" she murmurs, in that moment her optics rotate, "How much do you truly rely on your Byukugan?" Mikasa continues, Verse of Darkness. Would the technique be successful or would the ANBU Captain be wise to the ploy of the medical nin? How closely had he watched her matches within the World Martial Arts Tournament? In the rear of her mind he had shown support, but the event of attempting to have a personal grudge match against the newly crowned Main Branch Sennin fresh on her mind.

Playfully her digits caress against his chest, clawing the fabric prior to pressing off to lurch backwards to form blow a fiery amber hue of chakra, snaking around her form to provide a cushion against melee blows, Immolation Armor. Raising her hand upwards, her teeth tug upwards on the leather glow to reveal the sight hidden beneath, each prosthetic digit basking in a glow of a different hue of the basic five elements. The initial technique he dare to lay would be met with a wall of chakra, a mere Reflection and hopefully enough to send a clear message that she would not hesitate to cause his body harm. "What is my favorite color?"

His eyes never shifted from the maidens form the petal like pattern of the unique sharingan being one all too familiar to him deep breath leaving the Hyuuga's lungs to maintain the pressure left hanging in the air. "Exert never, simply a show I have no intentions of giving this any less than my all." Tilting his body forward only slightly there was a slight pause his though process calculating and pondering over the steps to take though her questions gave for only a moment of hesitation and for all his diminour would imply a more serious and stern nature the ANBU's tone was calm some could even say kind.

"Your eyes? it was never about their color only the captivation i found looking upon them, that sense of passion in everything you do. As I said in the days we first met the eyes are the gateway to the soul and on occasion say more than words ever would." In those few seconds that passed he seemed to relax the world around him becoming darkened where as some would panic training had taught him to do quite the opposite. "If I'm being honest far too much, since they became the Hakumei a state of constant activity followed suit I would be lying if i said i hadn't come to grow accustom to having it as my normal vision."

"But when it comes to such things we are cut of the same cloth no? both blessed with great optical prowess one we could come to rely on though i never failed to see the benefits even when my attention was drawn elsewhere i could always keep an eye on you when i promised to do so." Holding an open palm out it was clear that attempting to find her in the black was going to be a near impossibility at this point a slight sigh escaping him as the sphere of chakra formed in his palm. "Though it saddens me i cannot look upon you in this moment do not think me so helpless without my eyes, I've grown since the old days."

As the sphere rapidly expanded in his palm droplets of water danced in the zephyrs around the Captain it became obvious he intended to prove the point taijutsu was not his only forte the Rasen-Tsunami shifting in shape before becoming a great sphere to engulf all around him. "If sight if robbed and target lost, hit everything, simplistic i know but rather interesting wouldn't you say."

There was no rest, not a moment taken to think through the next steps such hesitation was costly and not something that interested him drawing forth the water around him, Scorn of Aquarius. "Your favorite color? I see a shame i have not been able to see such things until recently though when i think of you i think on of teal the color of your Chakra, speaking as i did before Chakra could be viewed as the soul of a person in a way.....don't know why the thought never occured to me until now." As the Tidal wave left the space of the Hyuuga he couldn't help but find this whole situation somewhat strange for all they spoke as if connecting with one another, working out differences.

"Though considering we speak of one another then a question to you, What was my goal on the day we first met we spoke of them. Do you remember what i said to you that day?" Another series of hand seals slamming his palm into the hardwood floor the barrier constructed around him, Corona. Offense and Defense over the years Yukio had come to appreciate them both in equal measure and now he would have to understand that more than ever.

Currents of water cascade against the near invisible Kinesis chakra shield, faltering against the pressure and the sound of crackling glass ensues. Fortunately within the initial moment was the Medical Sennin able to maneuver herself as the technique redirects the onslaught towards the creator to collide with a secondary technique. The deadly waters slam her frame against the wall, drenching her completely and the vibrant warmth of the immolation armor causing steam to hiss loudly, unable to keep her dry. The chestnut overcoat clings roughly against her flesh, the jeans she weighing her down considerably - becoming a burden. Mikasa's proud platinum mane threatens against her face, plastered, and desperately clings against her shoulders.

Taking a moment to analyze the scene, fresh airs scent collides against her form, the wall behind her exposing the scenery outside through a hole created by the home owner. "If you can't see, aim for everything?" she muses, tugging on the crimson dress-shirt in false hopes of resolving the unusual situation. With a hint of annoyance, she scatters the initial layer to the side, revealing her location, although intentionally. Rearing her hand behind her neck, the kunoichi slices in a curved motion roughly around the lower half her neck, the ivory strands now float against the pool of water they stood upon. For the moment the Hyuuga wouldn't be any wiser to her brass decision of electing to remove the weighed down locks.

"That you wish to protect the village and by doing so removing the workload from the branch leaders." she replies to initial inquiry, "Do you know my elemental affinities? One is Doton, which will be no use in the water." she remarks prior to place the palm of her hand upon the cool liquid, the radiating hate continuing to hiss against the waters. Loud chirping ensues, the pleasurable sound of Meadowlarks emit from her fingertips as the raiton technique surges outwards - Chidori Control: Chidori Current, her leather boots proving to be enough of protection. "The other being Raiton." she murmurs aloud, readying for the Hyuuga to maneuver through the air if his protection not enough to displace the oncoming damage.

If he would move as she hoped, in the air above the ceiling would produce a mass spire of earth which would slam down from above - Earth Spiker, "How do you really feel about an ANBU's strength versus a Medical shinobi or kunoichi?"

What his eyes couldn't see his ears could certainly hear a moment of silence from the hyuuga as droplets of water fell from the ivory main hitting the floorboards like the light tapping of rain. This silence continued having no option but to trust his other senses in those passing seconds to detect what became of the world around him however this would not be enough the handicap of his entire combat style pressing him a little too much on the back foot so rather than attempt to move blindly he would shed light on the world.

It was not a process he enjoyed the veins appearing around his eyes visibly straining at the effort to focus on the objective an ability gained yet rarely used, Scan. With it came his words spoken though gentle tone, carried on the zyphers as they faded from the captains palms trailing off to be overpowered by the sound of birds. "your right, I did wish for such a thing yet....now I do not see such things in the same way for to take the burden you must be ready to share it, to work as the whole for the better of all rather than handle things all alone." Tilting his head up the shinobi took pause now able to see the view before him the cogs of the mind took hold processing the information and pondering a counter.

"The branches? The ANBU against the medical as I see it now many of ours still lack the proper training the extra guidance needed to move in the right direction however I would not count them below the medical branch. Nor would I see you below us, is that not why we seek to work as one to keep the village in balance when some may seek to bring it down. Though I will admit there were times when doubt fell into my mind about the path i walked." taking a few paces forward before placing an open palm against the barrier he seemed strangely at peace like a second process of thought had been ticking away in the back of the mind though subconscious only now coming to light.

With sight restored and the situation analysed there was a brief moment to weigh in the options presented before him, the matter of where and how to move giving the Hyuuga a rather limited set of options in these circumstances. After this moment of pause he nodded seeming to have drawn a conclusion as the barrier cracked and shattered the sudden jolting feeling of lightning moving through his veins making the Captain twitch yet a smile was the thing that stood out the most. "Reminds me of old times, haven't felt a sensation like this since my dual with Takeshi."

A deep exhale leaving his lungs before hands were brought together once more it was time to set things into motion his eyes closing for a brief moment upon forming a series a seals. "However non of that is truly what brought us to this point is it..." Upon opening his palms a blinding flash of light emitted from the man the Flashbang created from Photon energy filling the room before the ANBU's eyes snapped back open building pressure in his legs for that brief second before bolting forward tensing his fist before drawing it back a brief second of pause before letting loose the Fist of Sin.

"It was us, I didn't do all the things I wanted with you I hesitated from fear and doubt something I must be honest with you now as to why." His eyes had narrowed slightly though not in focus but in a brief moment of sorry. "I was scared of losing what i loved once more, My family are gone never to come back and I was alone honestly I should have seen it coming but when I am with you it feels like that fear is pushed to the back of my mind, Like I can move past it and become better than I am now and I wish to do the same in return." Tilting his head up a smile still rested on his face though he was open it didn't seem to be of concern to him having something he considered much more important on the forefront of his mind.

The ivory hair ANBU operative was swift to collect himself, the initial discharge providing a momentary reprieve for the kunoichi to create a distance between the two. Satisfied with the response of the Hyuuga, Mikasa speaks no further on the subject, refocusing on next action of the captain. Shockingly, no pun intended towards the shinobi's previous predicament, did a blinding radiance momentarily cause the maidens palm to shield her vision and ending the shroud of darkness on the male. Crimson blossoms would greet against the emerald, firm in her decision to continue the feud between them.

Lurching forward a force of chakra discharges from the opposition, the initial barrage evaded as she maneuvers gracefully, Mikasa's optics glancing about her wildly. Unfortunately she had not accounted for the aftershock, the zephyrs cause the woman to be sent soaring through the open wound in the abode, crashing into the courtyard. The attire of the kunoichi becomes a burden, her prosthetic hand ripping at the edges to cause the sleeves to stream upwards, the azure jeans parting to reveal ivory flesh blotched in crimson. "Yukio, I once more apologize about the damage your home will continue to receive." she murmurs, not caring about any additional damage to the Uchiha grounds.

Weaving a set of handseals, the Sennin inhales deeply and in turn pressing her chest outwards. A trickling of Corrupted Mist spews forth, shrouding the grounds - causing the very green terrain to dull hue. Leaping back Mikasa aims to guise herself, allowing a moment to gauge her chakra expenditure thus far, surely half of a tank. In the protection of being out of sight, the grounds quiver beneath the combatants and streamlines outwards from the growing deadly mist. The sky above the Hyuuga would grow dark, patches of dirt spill from the sky and Mother Gaia trapping the petite home and the very ground around them. A deathbox and Mikasa's gifted element, earth, not one easily combated, Earthslide Wall.

Despite the deadly poison she stays low to the ground, racing forward to match the Hyuuga, leaping towards the Hyugga to attempt to trap him beneath her petite form. Of course she knew of his eyes and the ease he could maneuver about to avoid her, the Byukuan a handy tool to have; to lower the chance she calls out, "Yukio, do not move. Face me head on!" she calls out in mid flight. Would Hyuuga Yukio heed her words or disregard them entirely?

It was becoming clear as the fight when on neither would give ground seeing her form crash into the courtyard a pain grew in the Hyuuga's chest something telling him to stop yet another part conflicted saying to show resolve with every fiber of his being. Though both seemed to be perfectly valid options in any normal circumstance this was not a normal series of events looking over to the maiden as she spoke a feint smile coming across his face. "No need to apologies, Such things can be a concern later."

Seeing the damage to her clothing there was a brief moment the Hyuuga's attention shifted as he stepped outside coming to his palms the smoldering sensation still prominent on his fingertips the clothing he wore not suited for the task at hand shaking his head slowly at the thought before pulling the coat from his person letting it fall to the ground before stretching his arms to the side a quick snap of his neck being clear indication that he preferred the freedom of movement seeing Mikasa weave a series of hand seals he was quite familiar with losing sight for a brief moment in the dense poison fog.

Even his eyes were not that precise though precaution would have to be maintained ready to respond to the sensation of the poison running through his veins at a moments notice however there would be more to focus on than the cloud the darkening sky being a rather swift reminder of the various techniques Mikasa had at her disposal and with attention to detail being a requirement his eyes became focused once more. Sights and Sounds would be his ally here tilting his head from side to side the Captain wondered what her next move would be.

The answer would be swift head snapping too at the sound of her words and a surprise would be waiting for the Med Sennin rather than a man taking stance or ready to dodge and move out the way the glow of his Hakumei were hidden behind closed eyelids, arms at his sides before the mans eyes opened only slightly. "Head on? I'd be happy to Mikasa." The words were carried on gentle tone as he felt the impact against his bare skin quickly taking him to the group beneath her form. It was like time came to a pause for the Hyuuga in those moments, the numerous thoughts usually passing through his mind pushed to the side the only thing remaining the thought of the maiden before him.

As he lay there still from a perspective of the fight he was at a clear disadvantage however even that seemed distant shifting a palm to rest upon her cheek. "I let you down, I know that, When i should have been true to my own feelings and desires there was hesitation and doubt. Memories of the past clouding my future, the future I wanted with you to that end you've opened my eyes to the truth of that." There was a pause in his words a sigh of self disappointment escaping him. "Ironic the all seeing eye in the hands of the short sighted, But no more between us in this place I keep my promise that I would come for you with full force. You wished for a partner with strong resolve did you not."

Bringing his head forward it pressed against her own if anything had come of this it was not only realizing his own mistakes from the past but coming to find what he could do in the hear and now rather than linger on what could have been. "It's what pushes me forward even now, the will to see things come to fruition and be steadfast against anything that would stand between us, against what would stop that promise I made to you and myself from the very beginning. I love you Mikasa, that hasn't changed nor will it as time passes." Both his body and soul had been laid open before the maiden what she wished to do with them was up to her now the Hyuuga could only hope he'd shown all he wanted, to open himself to her and show the trust that she alone had been given.

The embrace of Mother Nature continues to crumble in the creeping darkness, mounds of soil pitter patter about the duo. Hesitantly do her digits caress against the jawline of the ANBU Captain, "When one looks too far ahead does one become unable to identify what lingers before them." Mikasa tutors the shinobi in a hushed tone, "I'll make a vow to you if you are prepared to do the same." leaning back, her fingertips rest on the chest of the male, the Sennin's mouth widens to inhale the mist. Swirling through the constructed reapers entrapment, the fumes dissipate into the abyss of chakra coils; leisurely she once more reposition herself, "Although I may anger towards you, despite the growth over the years and you failing to gasp for air under the weight of the sea." another pause, "I'll muster the strength to press you towards the surface, Hyuuga Yukio-san."

Raising her left hand upwards, the faint humming of the chakra scalpel resonates, echoing about the chamber and the teal radiance illuminating the pair. The blossoming Mangekyou Sharingan reverts, deep blue ocean hues glistening against her own light, "I know you love me, what do you take me for? Yourself?" the medical kunoichi inquires with a frown prior to pressing her weight upon the captain, lips grazing tenderly in a brilliant symphony. "We still have much to learn, but let us take the journey together." she mouths against his lips, gliding the reverberating technique between the petite space separating themselves.

Threads part and the seams give way to the action, "You'll have to forgive my transgressions, although I doubt you mind." a coy smirk etches on her features, Mikasa's prosthetic hand full of disgust, in the moment she regrets past decisions, tugs on the crimson bow-tie. If the Hyuuga able to ignore her impurities, then she would give no additional thought to the matter. The teal hue paints the exposed flesh, a faint rose surfaces against her cheeks, "One more dance, let us waltz." a wafer tone escapes her pursed lips prior to blowing on the aura of chakra - diminishing the only source of illumination.

Lights out.

Feeling the maidens touch it seemed his words had been heard though he was not so foolish as to believe it wasn't an act of kindness on her end, with the position he found himself the Sennin could have easily made a finishing blow. This was not the case however, tilting his head into her gentle touch processing what she had to say and coming to understand the mistakes he had made. "I see that now, I was so focused on what would be and what had passed that I couldn't see the here and now, see what truly mattered."

Nodding slowly he had no arguments against making such a vow however the time for words and actions were two different things changing like the seasons. "I will make any vow, to see that we have common ground as we did in the beginning with the hand you offer i will find my feet once more, to breath air before the waters pull me to drown." Sighing slightly at her comment he couldn't deny how dense he had been over the years, never quite understanding what to make of each situation as it would come and go though as he'd matured that understanding had come naturally and this was an moment that would not pass him by taking the maiden in his arms the touch of her skin a tender feeling.

He didn't flinch at the motion of the blade the pale light being something he found pleasing after the moments that had lead to this point, her words were true many steps would be taken from that point before they could come to completely understand one another though even with his usual attention to detail the man found himself lost in the moment, not a word against her actions only his accepting embrace. "Forgiveness was given before asked, and so I take this dance with you without intervention from the world around us."
