It had been a while since Hoshirei had come back into the village, but it was the first time since then that she had found a moment of solitude, a moment to just breathe in the essence of home. She walked into Maki and her room and loosened her obi. Hoshirei unraveled the obi from around her waist and gently folded it flat and put it with the rest of her obi. The ties of her yukata followed and then the yukata itself gently opened and fell from her shoulders. Folding yukata helped her center herself and fall into an almost zone. It was not long until it was folded and put away.
With a soft sigh, she lay herself on the couch and soaked in the feeling of serenity their quarters brought her. She was not alone for long before Mouna decided to make a flying leap onto Hoshirei's stomach. Hoshirei coughed slightly before laughing as the fully-grown Maine Coon landed on her person. Mouna just mewed in Hoshirei's face before butting her little kitty head against Hoshirei's. A soft smile graced Hoshirei's countenance and she pet Mouna's soft fur.
After a few moments of petting, she gently moved until she was on her side with Mouna curled against her stomach. "Let's take a quick nap, eh, Mouna?" she asked with a few scritches underneath the cat's chin. Mouna made a happy noise and settled down with a rumbling purr. Hoshirei gave her one last smile before making herself comfortable. She finagled a pillow under her head and pulled the blanket off the back of the couch. Finally comfortable, Hoshirei allowed herself to doze, a soft smile on her face.
