Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

A swirling, choking mist that seems to jam itself down the throats of those targeted by it. The perception that it is an upgraded version of Hidden Mist is quite false, since while it is impossible to learn without knowing how to spread fog like in that jutsu its effects are quite different and much more harmful.

Information
Prerequisites: Vapor Affinity, A-rank, 4 Mastered Vapor jutsu, Hidden Mist Mastered

Rank 1: Creates a thick suffocating fog that effects three targets. All within are treated as having level 2 of the 'Fog' effect and lose 2% Max Cp upon hit and start of each round maintained. The user’s actions used against those targeted by this jutsu have a 5% chance of being treated as 'Sneak Attacks'.
Rank 2: Creates a thick suffocating fog that effects three targets. All within are treated as having level 2 of the 'Fog' effect and lose 3% Max Cp upon hit and start of each round maintained. The user’s actions used against those targeted by this jutsu have a 10% chance of being treated as 'Sneak Attacks'.

Special - True Hidden Mist: By paying +20% Cp, the user may have this jutsu effect all in battle. This may -only- be done while Hidden Mist is active with the special action to effect all within the battle. The effects of this Jutsu will be treated as if Rank 1 due to spreading the mist.

Rank 1 Cost: 2200 Cp to Initiate, 1100 Cp/Rnd to maintain.
Rank 2 Cost: 2750 Cp to Initiate, 1380 Cp/Rnd to maintain.

Notes:
- Lasts up to 30 seconds, and requires a Nin check at the start of each round for a target to be effected.
- The Special Action is considered a Terrain jutsu and does not allow a check; all are automatically affected.
- Visibility is treated as 'Dark' while this jutsu is active to those effected.
- This jutsu’s constant 'Fog' effect overwrites Hidden Mist's.
- While using the Special Action, other combatants must pass a Ninjutsu Check against the user at -2 in order to cast an Arena jutsu, or their own Terrain jutsu. If the opponent successfully casts their own Terrain jutsu, this one is dispelled.
- Lingering effects from and maintained Vapor jutsu while this is active cannot be dispelled by Wind jutsu below Level A.
- The 'Fog' effect lowers the accuracy of those effected by -1 and increases Cp costs by +5% for 10 seconds. This stacks up to 3 times.

A swirling cloud of mist and fog that is concentrated into a bright, intense blast and then explodes upon impact, covering the target in swirling mist and sapping at their senses. It may seem odd, but those who have been hit by it have said it is actually very hot, despite the frosty appearance the blue-white sphere takes on.

Rank 1: Deals 4620 damage at -1 accuracy. This jutsu has a 28% chance at causing the 'Fog' effect and the 'Steam Burn' effect.
Rank 2: Deals 5500 damage. This jutsu has a 36% chance at causing the 'Fog' effect and the 'Steam Burn' effect.

Special Action - Ether Cleanse: By paying +20% Cp, the user may replace the 'Fog' effect with the 'Vapor Stun' effect. Both chances are reduced by -8% if this is done.

Rank 1 Cost: 2420 Cp
Rank 2 Cost: 2750 Cp

Notes:
- The 'Steam Burn' effect gives the target a 15% chance to automiss any of their actions, including friendly actions directed at allies. This lasts a full round, but may only happen once.
- The 'Fog' effect lowers the accuracy of those effected by -1 and increases Cp costs by +5% for a full round. This stacks up to 3 times.
- The 'Vapor Stun' effect causes suppression and Cp damage equal to 30% of the normal damage. Vapor Stun may only effect a target once per round.

A dark cloud of mist, only tainted with something foul. This vapor looks unhealthy, almost more like smoke clouds than fog. It’s quite corrosive, too, eating away at everyone and everything it touches.

Prerequisites: Vapor Affinity, A-rank, 4 Mastered Vapor jutsu, White Mist Mastered

Rank 1: Drains away 3% HP and CP from 3 targets each round. Those effected have a 28% chance of failing any Hp/cp recovery attempts, regardless of the method used.
Rank 2: Drains away 5% HP and CP from 3 targets each round. Those effected have a 36% chance of failing any Hp/cp recovery attempts, regardless of the method used.

Special Action - Dark Smog: For 150% of the maintain cost and 3 Ap, Black Mist may be condensed into a single-target attack that deals an unrecoverable 10% Max HP damage to one target trapped in the cloud. May only be used when Black Mist has been active for at least one full round. After use, Black Mist is dispelled and may not be used again for two rounds.

Rank 1 Cost: 2200 Cp to Initiate, 1100 Cp/Rnd to maintain.
Rank 2 Cost: 2700 Cp to Initiate, 1350 Cp/Rnd to maintain.

Notes:
- Lasts up to three rounds, requires a nin check at the start of each round.

This may be from your nightmares--a shapeless, formless cloud that looks perfectly innocent...until it touches you and it feels as if your flesh is being burned off. This is heated steam that grabs at the target, grabbing it and holding it still while burning the target.

Prerequisites: Vapor Affinity, A-rank, 4 Mastered Vapor jutsu

Rank 1: The user makes 3 checks against a target at -2 Accuracy. If all three checks fail, this jutsu does no damage. If only two checks fail, the target takes 2640 damage and is considered 'partially caught'. If none of the checks fail, the target is 'fully caught' and takes 5280 initial damage
Rank 2: The user makes 3 checks against a target at -1 Accuracy. If all three checks fail, this jutsu does no damage. If only two checks fail, the target takes 3025 damage and is considered 'partially caught'. If none of the checks fail, the target is 'fully caught' and takes 6050 initial damage

Rank 1 Cost: 2640 Cp to initiate, 1055 Cp/Rnd to maintain
Rank 2 Cost: 3025 Cp to initiate, 1210 Cp/Rnd to maintain

Notes:
- Lasts up to three rounds, and requires a Ninjutsu check at the start of each round.
- 'Partially caught' causes the target to suffer -2 dodge, -1 melee accuracy, and take 20% of the initial damage each round maintained. This may be escaped by paying 1 Ap.
- 'Fully caught' causes the target to suffer -3 dodge, -2 melee accuracy, and take 20% of the initial damage each round maintained. This may be escaped by paying 1.5 Ap.
- This jutsu may be blown away temporarily by a Wind or Wind-based jutsu Level B+ used on or by those effected.
